GUYS JUST WATCHED THE FINAL PRESS CONFERENCE AND MAYWEATHER NEVER REALLY SAID MUCH, DO U GUYS THINK HE IS WORRIED
For sure i think they both must be if there not then they are both stupid ;)
to me Ricky seemed alittle ratteled also maybe with all the BS but you can hear it here what he said about the pushing contest...

Fighters are generally very quiet by the final press conference. They've spent months in training and doing promotional stuff, they're sick and tired of it by this point and just want to get in the ring and fight.
The Floyd-Oscar press conference was also pretty quiet, they didn't have much else to say by that point.
Nervous maybe, but worried i seriously doubt it, if anything i think floyd isn't worried enough.

i think Floyd looked prity much like he was ready to go. Hatton to me seemed a little on edge and was doing things he doesnt usually do like pushing Floyd to try and rile him. I think the media building Hatton up has helped Floyd to get into the zone and become fully focused. Trust me there is no way in hell that Floyd has underestimated Hatton and hes ready for a fight. Im starting to think Floyd might actually stand in the center of the ring and exchange with Ricky. Might be fireworks in Vegas on Saturday night.
On a side note what time GMT do u think the fight will get underway because i cant see the fights on the undercard lasting that long Ponce will win in a few rounds and Lacy will blast Manfredo outta there early on as well. Is there any stand by guys they are going to chuck in?
The main event is never going to start before 11 pm east coast US time, no matter what happens on the undercard.Quote:

I think Ricky is the worried one i can see it in his eyes and facial expressions.
People always read too much into if a fighter "looks worried." Honestly...Ricky seems calm and confident. I like how he doesn't back down AT ALL from Floyd. Will any of this be enough to make a difference in the actual fight? Who knows.
Why would he be worried? He probably had gas and wanted to concentrate on not blowing wind in front of the cameras :fart3:
Hatton will get stopped in 10.
He loked like he knows now what he is facing.
Deep down inside Hatton knows he can't beat Floyd

When you think about it both men have a reason to be worried....If Floyd loses he will always have a question mark over his legecy...If Hatton loses he will be put down a few rungs on the ladder and it will cost him as far as paydays in the States......
For the Oscar fight Floyd was able to get in his licks and get in his comments because he knew DLH would not hand it back to him....This may be the first time for Floyd another fighter actually took liberites on him and made it a point to not only call him out but mock him.....a bit of a kick in the ego...
GOD this fight is massive were all completley gripped by it this is one of the biggest fights ever i can not wait.

No but Billy Graham looked like he was gonna piss himself the last 24/7 episode, the part where he's looking away while talking up Hatton shows little conviction. He had a very worried expression.
Hatton looks worried to me. The finger across the throat thing is out of character and just looked stupid. He looked dumb when he did it and sounds nervous as hell in this clip when interviewed afterwards. His voice goes all girly.

Although I'm picking Floyd to win I desperately want Ricky to flatten him. I'll be cheering for Ricky on Saturday and I think he'll last the distance and maybe has a chance to make it a really close decision but there's also the chance it could end up another Calzaghe-Lacy.

Just curious how far along in that task you are. Like, have you finished yet? ;DQuote:

Except I think Hatton's constant pressure is going to force Floyd to fight. He can't ride a bike the whole fight and beat Hatton.
I pick Floyd to win but I see a very active Hatton against a very - even superbly - defensive Floyd as a possible way to a loss for Floyd. You can't win with defense. I think there has to be fireworks if Floyd is going to win. Hatton will force it.
So I guess now that you've started, you may as well continue on. I have been thinking the same, based on the above thinking. I think it's unavoidable if Floyd wants to win.
I hope that is how it turns out Nutha. When the fight was first made I thought Floyd would exchange with Hatton and maybe even stop him.Quote:

But Floyd should be worried because his "0" and p4p status is the only reason people want to watch him.
If he gets a loss he has nothing to fall back on. His fighting style doesn't attract fans and neither does his personality.
This isn't 100% true.Quote:

Does anyone think that Floyd will command centre ring for longer than he normally does im thinking he can wear Ricky down with bodyshots Ricky has an awesome body attack but im not that sure he takes a good body shot himself.A few times in the Castillo fight he had to take the odd little one and he did'nt look comfortable to me thats just my opinion and the one that castillo lost a point for were'nt that low and definately took the wind out of Ricky's sails.Im thinking if Mayweather commands centre ring with crisp jabs and hooks keeps Hatton off balance keep him moving backwards attack his body Floyd throws a lovely jab to the body. One of the main keys to victory is that the ref does'nt let Hatton do the hook and hold thing because that makes a frustrating fight for the fans.I think if Floyd fights in this way come round 6 or 7 Hatton will be cut up frustrated and in line to be stopped by round 8.
as the fight gets closer, I'm starting to think Floyd might actually trade in center ring, not carelessly though. Hatton doesn't have the power and natural size advantage of Floyd's last three opponents, I see Floyd taking the fight to him, which is something not many Hatton opponents have done, but it'll be difficult to keep someone possessed like Hatton on the back foot. Hope I'm right, this has the potential to be a cracking fight.
Hatton: "Who's he tryin to fuckin frighten?"
After watching yesterdays press conference in the face to face Floyd is physically the bigger man now Hatton has lost his weight he looks small washed out and very gaunt. When they kept having the face to face in the build up Hatton was the bigger man i thought he would still be after losing his weight but he is'nt Floyd even commented in a interview after the conference about Hatton been small.
I laughed out loud at my desk at work when i heard that bit. Listening through headphones.Quote:

Likewise LoL.Quote:

Yep, not only that but mayweather is a couple of inches taller and was also wearing a shirt, waiscoat, and a tie with one of those big a** collars. He may 'appear' bigger at that conference but i think when they get in the ring it will even up a bit.Quote:

I started out thinking Ricky had no chance but now i'm thinking Ricky is probably the most determined he has ever been in his life and truly believes he can win. That alone can be the differentiator.
Something is going to happen tomorrow night that shouldn't do. Lets wait and see. I am so amped for this fight. Jesus i must be...i normally stay out of the main boards and stay in my MMA comfort zone! ;D
Glad to hear it mate!!!Quote:

He kept tapping Zab's body until he tired himself out and then Judah was standing there like a lame duck in the middle rounds waiting for Floyd to tag him out. The uppercut to the nuts saved him from taking a nap in a tangle in the ropes.Quote:
