Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Just finished watching the weighin on sky sports and i can honestly say i have neve seen hatton in better shape...
Floyd also looked in great shape so i think we have a fight.
bit of head banging between the two then ricky got the mic and said who you here to see to the screams of you and a few other questions to the 6,000 crowd... floyd left and didnt take the mic.
last round of this to hatton bigtime.... cant wait till tomorrow no matter what anyone says this is a pickem if ever there was one and i'm goning with Hatton by KO rd 4 ;D
did anyone also see Joe Calzaghe and Hopkins going head to head... telling you guys hes out there to make this fight ;)

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Can not wait for this one at all gents.
Hatton KO 11. Too fit, too strong, too determined - he's too far superior to anything Floyd has faced for a long time.

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Anyone up for a sig bet? Im picking Floyd TKO rd 10 so confident he will show his class and solidify his legacy

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
I'm watching Sky and haven't seen the weigh in. Bugger. I'm guessing it was on the news channel. Anybody have a link to it on the net please?

I saw ricky and floyd bumbing heads but I miss the part when joe and bhop got into it. I didn't like what I've heard bhop said. About him not going to lose to a white boy or something like that. I really think bhop is being an ass clown and i have a lot of respect for him. I just don't think its right to say your not going to lose to a white boy as if a white person is a lesser person. One of my favorite fighter is pavlik, and pavlik just knock out the guy who beat bhop twice. Bhop can sell this fight better then going low like calling joe just a white boy. I'm sure if joe returned the favor and said he will never lose to a black boy, the blacks will be crying and whyning about like if joe was a cop that just put a whooping on a person that happen to have dark skin.

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Ricky looked in awesome shape but he's way to fired-up.. outside the norm at thsi stage. Not sure thats a good thing.
Hopkins-Calzaghe was classic. Old racist Hopkins looked seriously gutted he was the only one apart from Floyd getting booed, taunted and jeered to fuck ;D
-
Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
What Hop said was stupid, but i don believe the statement meant JC was less of a human, just that white boys are lesser fighters. Bhop got history backing him up on that.
-
Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Best ive ever seen the hitman...ripped as fuck...
Floyd looks worried, hatton by late round stoppage...

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Don't get over excited guys let's remember that Ricky struggle with guys like Urango and Collazo. He's in over his head and won't win this.
It's more likely that Peter Manfredo will upset Jeff Lacy imo.
Easy routine win for Floyd.

dont think he struggled with Urango ??? ??? ???
Callazo yeah bigtime...
but was DLH really trying in his fight with floyd... if so why didnt he throw the jab in the later rounds he was having so much sucess with early on ?
my guess is he is a promoter and sees the bigger promotion picture...
Why did Floyd run and stink the place out against Baldy... was he scard of the power.
Zab judah who i rate still gave him trouble at the start of there fight... but Zab is overrated by many now.
Gatti is shot to pieces.
so it is fair to say Floyd is the best fighter Ricky has faced but Ricky is also the best guy Floyd has faced apart from DLH... but for me there is still a VERY BIG question mark over that fight ;)
This is a Pickem regardless of what anyone says they are both in for the fight of there lifes ;)

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
He struggled wit collazo cause he doesnt do well wit southpaws and it was his first fight at welter,he didnt struggle wit urango,he won every round, just didnt look good, ricky is gonna win, floyd wont be able to keep him off, floyd is a lazy fighter, likes to take breaks ,llikes to lay against the ropes and counter punch, big mistake against ricky.......
FLOYD WILL LOSE.....
Id nearly put my house on it........

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Both guys look in tremendous shape.
-
Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Hatton looks in terrific shape, but dont judge a book by its cover. Pretty boy is a genious, king of all kings

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
1)i predicted Hatton to weigh 145.
2) I predicted Hatton to win the mind games.
All good things come in threes right?
Come on Ricky!!

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
I have no doubt Hatton is in great shape. And that's good. I'm glad. Mayweather's going to beat a Hatton that's in the best shape of his life. No excuses.

Well i expect the effects will be similar when Ricky starts rougghing him up.

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Hatton looks in awesome condition and seems mentally exactly where he needs to be. 145 pounds is spot on and everything seems to have gone to a tee in camp.
Should be a quality fight.
-
Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Ricky will win, floyd 38-1 by the end of the fight.
-
Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
I don't usually think a fighters physique tells that much in these big fights. If they don't look good for the biggest fight of their lives, they are obviously doing something wrong. Also, look at Oscar's physique. It was the most ripped I've ever seen for a 154 pounder, yet his performance was not all that great. Both fighters looked good,as they should.

Whilst Fernado Vargas looked like a fat tub of goo, but performed..........like a fat tub of goo :D

I am in 100% agreement over the OLDH fight... This is paraphrasing, but the only word I could think of by the end of it was Scam.... I mean it was 12 rounds of 2 great p4p fighters in the ring at once, but it didn't amount to anything that you'd expect except and overblown money fest...
I since havn't been able to factor in that fight when considering performances of either fighter...
Tomorrows fight is the complete opposite though because one of the fighters is fighting for his boxing life.. And the other will realise after 2 rounds that he's fighting for his as well...
I'm with you, this is two great fighters meeting completely head on and anything could happen.......
;D

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Hatton was in great shape but i would say Floyd looked healthier Ricky looked ripped but very gaunt and dry as for the Hopkins thing he went to Calzaghe got in his face and all Calzaghe could say was go away go away the Hopkins Calzaghe fight could be good if it carries on like this.

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
They are both in fantastic shape. The weight in, the staredown, the press tour, 24/7, none of those things are going to matter tonight when that bell rings. Its on baby!

Hopkins: Calzaghe would be crap. An utter mismatch at this stage.
Hopkins looked pathetic. His nipples didnt impress me!

Re: Hatton looked in the best shape of his life at the weighin
Hatton by KO before end of 6. Styles make fights.....we all know that. Hatton has just the right style to beat Floyd. Like Forrest did Sugar Shane, and Mayorga did Veron. This fight will in no way look like Gatti vs Floyd. Ricky's pressure will be too much for FM. After the fight Floyd will make excusses and won't say Ricky was the better man tonight. There's probably a rematch clause.
Floyd fans........tonight is the begining of the end, he's finally met his match.
Man.... I'm gonna look bad if I'm wrong!! :o
