He looked fucking awesome tonight, he's grown so much physically as well.
This was a legitimate test and he's not just aced it he's looked like King Kong in doing so.
I've been pretty much his only staunch fan in recent months with everyone else preferring to knock him but he's just made Earl look like a glass jawed club fighter or novice.
Khan right now would knock Katsidis out in my opinion.
The kid is truly world class and is the hands down best prospect fighter in boxing!
Earl was beyond shot. Except for his knocked down of Katsidis he took a beating. I expect Con to destroy Earl. And he did
Nobody will be happier than me if he turns into a boxing megastar, but let's see what happens when he gets hit on the chin.
Khan was very, very, very, impressive tonight. I really thought that Earl would give Khan a fine run-out tonight, but Khan was exceptional and practically destroyed Earl with five or six big shots. Hugely impressive, but because he never got hit, his chin remains a doubt.

i wanted earl to knock him out also
well the facts are he is definitely up to eurpean class, and in a little while get him on world stahe - he could be something if the improvements continue

Well done khany my boy!! what a preformance - Pre fight, was a little worried about this one, earl is a tough guy and a step up the ladder for khan, who has just turned 21. I agree with bilboa, that Khan would destroy kd right now.
Cant wait for khan haters to get on with the usual "over the hill fighter" etc lol you all need to get a grip & stop hating. Just finished reading a board on bbc and theres new complaints going round about khan like, it was fixed, put him in Tyson!!, not worth the money etc lol

Na,that's what the unintelligent and biased fan would say. Khan was awesomely impressive and I notice and I noticed that he looked much bigger too,across the shoulders. I thought it was going to be a close fight with a Khan win but he stopped him quicker than Kats! This guy was British number 1 and Khan mopped him up.Quote:

Earl was shot when Katsidis bashed him up and he very nearly came unstuck so lets have a little perspective. Give Khan his props here guys. Plenty of people fancied Earl to upset the apple cart here but Amir smashed him to bits. Top stuff from Khan.

I'm not really a big fan or a "hater"
I thought he looked very good but I really don't much about Earl. I've only seen him once versus Katsidis and I thought he was tough but I wasn't blown away by him as a fighter. Whether he's completely shot or not I don't know, just don't know enough about him.
Still its obvious Khan has talent. In some of the fights I've seen he comes out of his comfort zone too easily and gets kind of wild but he looked good last night.

To be honest i always fought the Romanov win was a one off but i still didn't expect Kahn to blast him out. Those who doubt his power should have a word with themselves ;D

The Khan haters will say that Earl is a shot fighter who is about as far from world class as possible. Seriously though i wont be reading too much into this, yes its only khans 15th fight but he's never been in the ring with a big puncher and he's already been down twice!!
He's not learning anything by knocking out a bum in 1 round. People compare him to Naz but he's not as ellusive as Naz and seems to get hit too easily. If i was him id get as many Mayweather videos as i could and learn from the master!!
I disagree with calling Earl a bum. Although he was fortunate to get the shot against Katsidis, and got it partially on the fact that he could fill an arena rather than impeccable boxing credentials. However, he's a two time British title holder, commonwealth titlist and WBU titlist, which is more a resume of a possible Euro contender rather than a "bum".Quote:

Earl isn't world class, Casamayor is. Casamayor had a bad night last time out, Earl has had two bad nights out in his last two fights. He's a lovely bloke but he's done for now. Casamayor still has something left, not much, but more than Earl.Quote:
