I love how Hopkins though Joe was going to be scared....Try that thug BS on him.....Guive it up Hopkins....Calzaghe ain't no Jermain Taylor he won't just beat you in a dull fight he will embaress you....and make you nothing more then a part of his highlight reel
Joe will probably beat 43 yr old BHOP, but i doubt it will be embarrasing. It will probably be the hardest fight of Joe's career. BHOP will make Joe look awkward, and will hit him with elbows and headbutts all night.Quote:

ooh yea bhop was kinda disrespected by joe cause he shook everyone else hand but not bhops. I would love to see them get it on, although i like bhop. After predicting kessler to beat joe, and obviously i was wrong. I told myself i ain't going against joe no more. he has gain my respect and he truly is a great champion.

Look at your original post. U make it sound like Joe would do it easy. BHOP is well over 40 for fucksake, to even be competitive at that age is ridiculous.Quote:

I think Calzaghe beats Hopkins more easily than he beat Kessler. Yes, what Hopkins has done at the age of 43 is amazing, but that is irrelevant in regards to his competitiveness versus Calzaghe. After losing to Taylor twice, what has Hopkins done really? Beating Tarver, who has not looked impressive since beating RJJ, who had to lose a bunch of weight after filming the Rocky movie. Beating an aging Winky Wright, a blown-up Middleweight at best. Calzaghe's work-rate is impressive though people will point to B-Hop negating Winky's work-rate - but I'm not convinced that the weight didn't play a bigger role in that than B-Hop did. Both fighters are masters at adapting to their opponents, but I think Calzaghe will have power and speed on his side, and that makes for a big hill to climb for Hopkins.
By no means will it be an easy victory for Calzaghe, and though its surely not impossible I don't see how this incarnation of B-Hop will win.
Haha gotta love the Nard, even at 42 he still looks fucking awesome and that was some great pantomime right there.
By the way was this vid before or after his race comments?
I really would try to shake bhops hand, it wouldn't matter who the next guy was that i was gonna shake hands with. It was a pleasent time and trash talking would of been gone from my mind set. If bhop wouldn't shake my hand then i'd just let it go and not let it ruin the day. I'm sure a guy like bhop would want to promote a fight but its just that a promotion act. If he gets in my face, then he'll get in my face. shake his hand or not his still gonna try to pull some kind of way to promote a fight so yea I'd just do my part and pretend his just the next guy to shake hands with. this case, i ain't promote no bullshyt.Quote:

B Hop has fought the best, while Calzaghe hasn't faced anyone of hopkins' level, it's going to be a good fight, but b hops a whole nother animal. Who has Joe fought????? Omar Shieka, Peter Manfredo, Jeff Lacy,Sakio Bika.....ok Kessler, who has Kessler fought?, one real top level fighter in Markus Beyer. Hop will defeat him
I think Hopkins will make it tougher than I first thought. He did seem a little bigger than Joe, but if Joe fights a smart fight behind the jab, he should win comfortably but probably without hurting B-hop much.
looked like joe was a bit imtimatated there to me.................................. i'd say joe would win the fight as b-hop is past it but you never know
Joe didn't look intimidated to me...In fact he looked as though he did not take Hopkins serious at allQuote:

but i still think at this stage joe would be a old hopkins
He didn't look worried at all to me, as he didn't back down one bit and looked like he got quite perturbed with Slopkins. I think he was wondering at 1st what Bernard was going to do; was Bernard going to stay away or get right in his face? A look of uncertainty, if you will, in exactly how far Bernie would take it. But once he saw Holdkins was going to stay in his face he didn't back down at all. I was hoping he'd smack Hopkins right in his snaggletoothed face.
:coolclick for having an objective view. I know you're not much of a Joey C fan. I'd love Joe to shut Hopkins up.Quote:

Agreed...IMO it was more of a situation on where Joe did not exactly know how to take it all at first....Then once he realized Hopkins was not backing down Joe got right back in there with him....Quote:

yea joe is a kool doode, a situation like that is not comfortable but make no mistake about it. Joe was not at all scared.
i think this fight has to be signed soon because they've made a real song and dance about it for the last couple of months and failure to set it in stone would discredit both boxers, it has to happen and i feel it would generate a good level of interest on both sides of the pond, the hatton v mayweather fight wet the boxing publics lips on both sides, boxing is at a high for the first time in the uk for a long time, another big showdown would be great
Juan Manuel Marquez! DEFO! got a boner when hopkins and JC showed their bodies, he is gay, end of story!
look at him he wants some of the bhop :lickish:
Hopkins wont beat calzaghe...,joe is far too skilled and quick for him,he throws 2 many punches......
seriously how is b hop gonna beat him?he cant...
joe would win a ud.....,although i think b hop would be competative...
They probably met backstage and planned the whole thing.
Joe: "OK, I'm gonna come out and not shake your hand, and you just stand there for a minute looking slighted."
Bernard: "OK, then I'll motion to the crowd that I'm a bada$$, and you motion them to boo me. Then I'll get in your face, and we'll talk tough."
Joe: "Sounds good bro, we're gonna make a killing off this fight."
nar thats not it at all. basically joe aint one for the confrontation infront of the camera's. not watched this clip but when i was wathcing them square up you could see joe mouthing 'wait til we're in the ring'Quote:

Joe: (smiles) Aww just like I've always wanted.
Bhop: I love you Joe.
Joe: I love you too Bernard.
(both goes down on eachother)
;D ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww hahaha
Joe's wearing hip hugger hippy gear, jesus my wife doesnt wear something as fem as that
I can only wonder what color Joes lingerie was
The Brits can SC away(and they will) but Joe was wearing the exact same pants and cheap cargo belt that the chick from the crappy Monster Magnet video was wearing
And was that a Members Only jacket on top of it?
Get the boy some fashion sense,or a boyfriend
Joe is apparantly an extra from Trainspotting now
If I was British Id be humiliated by the entire display
Did someone say embarass Hopkins?... The guy has done in boxing watch very few people will ever match. Not one of my favorate boxers, but love him or hate him he is one of the greatest of all time regardless what happens in the twilight of his career.
The twilight of his career seems to be going on for about 6 or 7 years now.
I'll still watch, but the fight should have happened 5 years ago.
His fashion sense needs a bit of a kick. Anyone else noticed he was wearing the same gray V-neck for the Hatton weigh-in as for the Sports Personality presentation, it was 3 days later!!!!!Quote:

For Calzaghe it proves nothing,a Kessler rematch on neutral ground would prove more, for Bernard, its strictly ego
