There Is Still Only One Ricky Hatton
I wanted to start this thread and have it be a place to show Ricky respect. Yes I am a Floyd fan 1st and went toe to toe with all his diehard fans and through the verbal jabs and engaged in the bantering but I'm a Hatton fan as well, yea I will revel in Floyds victory with a catchy gif and signature but I appreciate Ricky Hatton for bringing his A Game and instead of disrespecting him and running off at the mouth I wanted to state how much I really admire Ricky as a person and a competitor.
The fanfare he brought to this fight was tremendous. he is a special young man and a credit to himself and his family and epitomises what a true sportsman is, even though he came up real short he showed tremendous will and desire. Team Hatton as well as his fans have nothing to be a shame of, despite the blatant and dispicible lack of respect certain Brits showed as guests in our country for booing our anthem, I was happy with the great atmosphere for a fun loving time and support they showed for the Hitman during the weigh in and fight nite. Not to mention Floyd showed tremendous respect for both Hatton and Graham after the fight.
I look forward to seeing Ricky back in the ring.....

I still have a very high opinion of Ricky Hatton. He was a lot quicker than I thought he was, and he showed a lot of heart and tenacity. I still think he is one of the better fighters out there today. He moved up a weight class and stepped up against the best fighter in the game today, and unfortunately for him he ran into an extrodinary boxing talent who has more tools and dimensions than just about anyone whos ever stepped into a boxing ring. No shame in losing to the best.
I still believe he'd give any of the other WW's hell.

But hell, all the Hatton supporters knew what was coming if Hatton lost, and VD is no compassionate guy, so they have to live with it. I knew Floyd would ko Hatton, I just thought it would be sooner, but I had no vision of him running into the turnbuckle, that was as funny to me as it was heartbreaking.
If Floyd would have lost you and all the Mayweather fans would have heard it 4-ever; believe that ;) Life goes on.

On the contrary many already know that I am a Hatton fan along with being a respectful and respected poster on his forum until they took it down 2 days ago revamped it and wiped out evrymember to start back at 0 :-\, BUT I was always upfront with everyone that I would never support Ricky over Floyd. NEVER!!!! but that dosent mean now that the smoke has cleared I cant show Ricky the respect he deserves

Reguardless of the loss I am still a Hatton fan....He went Balls out and did his best...And I will say this...It may have been one of Floyds most entertaining bouts in the last 5 yrs :D.....

If you took a minute to look around the other boards you would see Floyd has been given all the credit he deserves for his performance....Ricky deserves credit for coming in fighting at a weight class not really his own giving it his best and doing better then many have who have been in Floyds own weight class.....

Be a fan and support your favorite fighter but everyone does not like or have to like the Hugman or any other fighter,and this poster does not like him I think he's an over-hyped ,ordinary fighter with limited skills. His "will" and"tenacity"didn't mean anything you still get the L.
Furthermore why are those terms used only to describe a loser? Didn't PBF show "will" and "determination" in his effort to stop Ricky?

i am at the very least apprecitive of PBF skills.... he is the type of fighter to me where it is according to who he is fighting on who i would go for....
