Is this happening?
Soto stops him in 10.
Its on boxrec.Quote:

I'm not sure of Boxrec as a source but if it does happen,it means Soto is moving up in weight again,so I'm not sure if he can carry his power. If he does carry his power,Zorrita stops Diaz.If he doesn't,I think UD/SD for either fighter.
I havent heard anything offical but it must be in the talks.
Daiz via u.d.
Geez, if Diaz win, all this talk of washed-out Erik beating a nobody of a champion will be disputed. Actually, Diaz has the capability to win, though I'm not betting on it for now.
How will that be when Soto is coming off a loss to Guzman and would be moving up in weight. guess that is just wishful thing on your part. I can not wait to see the fight and to see if Soto carries his power upwards or leaves it behind. Some can and some can not. I for one, think Pac can carry it one more weight class. JMM can not !Quote:

I'm not even sure if talks have been started.
tThank you, I should just sift through posts and look for your name since most your posting are as close to accurate as possibleQuote:

#2 David Diaz has an obligation to fight the Interim Champ (whoever that is) in 2008. He may also have a unification with Juan Diaz, so why would he fight a 130lb'er on the come up?
#3 Joan Guzman wants to unify at 130 before moving up, so that is why he won't come knocking at Ltwt (yet).
Sounds logical ......... how about from a money standpoint ?Quote:

I like and respect Soto, but he will always have a hard time getting big names to fight him. He is like Margarito in that sense.
