Jorge Linares.. Been following this guy for a while now..

Gamo introduced me to this guy while he was still fighting in japan and very few people had heard of this guy even on the forum.. And obviously since then we saw the masterpeice of a fight he fought against oscar larios on i think it was the Bhop - Winky Undercard and if you havent caught his fight last weekend then watch this cos the guy is not only a well controlled skilled puncher but this guy is a bit of an animal..

I loved watching the end of that fight.. Linares hits him with a great shot.. The guy is out and linares stands there and admires his work and gives out what looks like a fuckenn war cry.. Loving it 8) :P

Wassup BHB? I added yo ass on myspace son. Yeah, so Linares is a good boxer-puncher, I'll have to watch this vid when I got some more time.

They should have just turned out the light and put a blanket over him. He wasn't even gonna consider getting up, they damn near looked like they were disturbing the guys nap or something. Poor guy linares looked real well this past weekend.

Yeah gret ko. I actually changed my koty to this one on Mick's Voting thread. Like Mar said, get a blanket over that dude and bring in the stretcher. Beautiful punch and lights out!! Made me more of a fanboy than I was{he'll be walking on water soon IMO ;D}

CC bhb, I didnt see his most recent fight against that Diaz guy until now.

I wasn't aware of Linares until his fight on the bhop-winky undercard against Larios and he made a big fan out of me then.


Lots of credit for El Gamo spotting Linares so early on...I think he was aware of him before anyone else

Great knockout. Perfectly timed right hand in between Diaz's punches. By the way, what Diaz was this?

Linares looks super impressive, not many guys in the smaller weights have KO power like that mixed in with decent skills. He'd be a tough fight for any one.

Right I got you. I knew it wasn't Julio, Juan, or David. Thought it might be Oscar Diaz, but he's way bigger I think.

That was a great performance by Linares. I like him a lot. He has a great future.

he said yatttaaaa!!!! he did that after he tko'ed larios too.

yattaaa, means "I did it" in japanese i believe. it is the same war cry, that street fighter game character Chun-Li screams out after she wins a fight. ;D
