Heard it from a good source here in PR some days ago but now it is in another boxing site. If I am not mistaken it will be here in Puerto Rico.
What do you guys think?

Pretty brave of Williams.
I don't see Williams having too much trouble with Quintana.
Quintana might catch Williams early and I think this is his best bet. The further this fight goes, the more it will slip away from Quintana.
Williams in 9.
I'm guessing you ment Quintana there right?Quote:

Quintana laid an egg in that Cotto fight, I see Williams dominating this fight
No, I said pretty brave of Williams going to PR.Quote:

You people are crazy.
Like I said, pretty brave of Williams but IMO, he should not have a hard time with Quintana. He better not let this one go to the judges. OUCH!
Best of luck to both men. I do want to see Williams win this one. I want to see him be very competitive in this division. Quintana? Well he was already destroyed by Cotto so he is not even on the radar.
I will be rooting for my countryman Quintana, who has pretty good boxing ability. But Williams is so darned active that I can't see how he can lose.Quote:

Williams is gonna destroy Quintana. I am not saying Quintana is a bad boxer, but
style wise he is not going to be able to get out of the way of the onslaught.
Quintana has a good jab, but that's not going to do him any good, when he is
so far behind on reach and punch output.
HAHA, Don't worry too much. Williams trains in Puerto Rico so he should'nt have too much trouble over here. He might even have some PR fans rooting for him. Quintana is not that populer on the easturn side of the island.Quote:

Quintana's a good boxer, i think he will give Willimas trouble. Williams by UD, but it won't be easy
CC to you!! I was going to say the same thing about Williams, who has been in Puerto Rico since his training for Margarito. It seems like Williams loves Puerto Rico (maybe its because of our beautiful women!) and he has also done a lot of community service. Also, the fact that Cotto destroyed Quintana doen't put him "off the radar." As you know, Cotto and William's styles are way different; thus, expect a different result. Williams puts pressure in terms of punch output, Cotto puts pressure in terms of pain.Quote:

Poor Carlos hes gonna get mopped up by Williams bad IMO.
The style that Williams has is all wrong for someone who's so defensive like Carlos.
Williams by UD.
Quintana got his name from beating the very hyped kid named Joel Julio but when he stepped up against Cotto he got beat so how did he get a shot at Williams for his title?? And how did he earn a mandatory shot ???
Paul Williams wins and Paul Williams got this one easy. Quintana is no Margarito.
^He was a replacement, he's not that bad of a choice for a replacement.
Williams UD, I just don't like Quintana's style against Williams. Gotta say I'm not quite as totally sold on Williams as most people seem to be though, just still don't think Quintana's right for him.
I think this going to be a very interesting fight in which we find out a lot about both guys. Quintana seems to have lost some luster on this forum since his loss to Cotto but there aren't too many guys out there that would have even gotten back up from that body shot.
Quintana is a very skilled boxer with good reach, good speed and nice defensive skills. This is a package that Williams has not yet seen in combination yet. If Paul can deal with that, he deserves a lot of credit.
Another thing is that, although Quintana suffered his first loss by KO, It was a body shot that did the trick and that doesn't take as much of a toll mentally going into future fights as getting put to sleep as evidenced by history.
I'm expecting a very good fight and I think Quintana has a chance in this one. Judos to Williams for taking such a fight.
After Williams wins I hope one of the other Champs give him a shot. Cotto,Floyd,Citron. But I dont see that happening. Talk about the most avoided man in the division it hands down Williams. If i am lying I'm flying. Watch his name not even come up when he wins. Champions fight Champions. Cotto,Floyd or Citron wont fight this Champ.
I don't think he is the finished article and I don't like PW's style but I do see him as a threat to anyone at WW,if only for his physical side and his work rate.Quote:
