I've come to my senses that in order for me to rate Pep & Saddler I need to have seen more then just 4 fights. At that I've only see 1 complete fight as the rest we're Highlights. With that being said here goes:

1. Sanchez
2. Nelson
3. Saldivar
4. Ramos
5. Alexis
6. Moore
7. Pedroza
8. JMM
9. Pacquiao
10. Hamed

I'd also like to point out that Pedroza is ALWAYS overlooked. :(

Well for starters I looked at different things opposition, titles, reigns, longevity, skills.
and IMO those 9 had an all around better career then Naz. Also keep in mind I rated fighters like Alexis, Nelson, JMM who can arguably be rated at other divisions. ;) For example Alexis is mostly rated as a Super Feather.

Both exceptional fighters Saldivar was something special in the ring moved well and had exceptional skill.
Eusebio is vastly over looked all in all he was also an exceptional fighter.

mick its kinda hard putting pac in that list but im glad you did. Reason being is that I don't think we will remember pac at 126 as much as we will remember him above that weight. The first fight with mab is clearly his first rise to the top but imo pac just scrape the featherweight then never took more time to be listed as a 126'pounder. I'd favor JMM to be listed as a 125pounder cause after pac,mab,eric left it was jmm's division. Unlike how all four was once there, nobody could really claim the division for themselves. Exept mab before pac beat him he was dubbed featherweight KING. Afterwards pac was never dubbed as king though, he was dubbed as the "peoples champ" remember that mick? then pac insisted he wanted eric, but he had to fight jmm first at 126....we all know what happened there. He still got his fight with eric though but not at 126, they would have their trilogy at 130.

I said earlier that jmm is more suited in that list then pac becuase jmm does not have much fights at 130 as a matter of fact he has very little and a lot more at 126. As for pac, his career may have began to reach elite class at the featherweights but his already planning on moving to lightweights and I believe he has a lot more damage to do in that division although he reck havok at the featherweight/superfeatherweight division. So we should all stay tune ;D

In that case, do you think history repeated itself but this one at featherweight and not flyweight. Because in my oppinion pancho was the same story but at the flyweights. What do you think?

I wouldn't rate Wilfredo Gomez in top 10 Featherweight's he won title off Juan La Porte. Then lost it to Azumah Nelson he done nothing at Featherweight except losing to Salvador Sanchez, Azumah Nelson, and beating the durable Juan La Porte. I would get rid of Gomez and put Nelson on the list.

I rate Gomez as the best Super Bantamweight of all time though.

Deffinatly i would have Willie pep in there, he has to be the most sucessful boxer ever for fights fought fights won.
A lot of the ones he lost he was accused of throwing due to mafia influence.

I don't think Barrera did beat Nassem. I think he may have cheated.
In the short time from the end of the fight to the time the ref rasies his hand after the judges scores to claim the victory. Barrera has his gloves removed and the strapping removed. Or did he?

I don't think Barrera had at least one of his hands strapped. The damage on Hameds face and speed Barreras hands were stripped just didn't add up for me.

i was asking mick but anyways since you want in the conversation. jimmy may as well be the best flyweight til he met pancho that is. well he gave his hat off to young pancho after they fought. its just to bad pancho past away so young, as great as he was already at that age he could of gone on to become even greater. same goes for sanchez, both young gunners taken away far to early into their career.

Wilde was past his prime when he fought Villa plus he hadn't fought in 2 years. Wilde used to beat men 2 stone heavier than him Villa is up there but Wilde gets my vote.

I think they are both suited for this list of Featherweights. Pacs win alone over MAB is monumental and for that he's there.

I said I can't list Pep & Sandler because I haven't seen enough of them to rate them. On the other hand I have seen lot's of Sanchez fights I would say about 24 Sanchez fights so I'm pretty confident in placing him there.

Oddly enough I think he was in his prime. I mean it's all based on opinion but after beating Gomez to me that's where it all began and I think he would have reigned supreme long after that.

I can't comment on Pancho or Jimmy. I mean tell me who here has seen at least 10 full Pancho or Jimmy fights? Not highlights full fights?
I gonna take a guess at that one and say none..... I can't and wont comment on fighters I don't know enough of. So sorry I can't say much there other then the kid looked talented and I've read he was something special.
