Drugs where do you stand?

Its fair to say drugs are now extreamly common in most communities. I live in the North-West of England and Cocaine seems to be taking over, if your drinking in the pub youve got a bag of the white stuff in your pocket..

When i was younger E's, acid's, Ketamine, MDMA and speed used to be kicking around at parties every weekend and everyone loved it, talking S*** off their tits.. I still have a dabble now but not as much and just tend to stick to the Charlie, its done me know harm and ive bin at it for 10 years now.. I will say 2 of my mates are now in the looney ward, but that is through overdoing things in a big way..

I just wondered what the problem is with some of these do gooders who have never experienced any of this them selfs, because lets be honest the biggest drug of all is ALCOHOL- look at the death rates..

I know gear like Heroine, Crack and Meth are most definalty bad news but there are plents of drugs which taken in moderation i consider to be relativly harmless and great fun..

I like weed, but that's about the only "drug" I do these days. When I was younger I used to be pretty hardcore with substances, but these days I couldn't imagine staying up for 2 days doing blow or something.
I agree about alcohol, its one of the worse drugs out there, worse for your body than almost any other drug. People always used to say pot was a "gateway" drug, like you'd smoke a joint and spontaneously decide to go mainline some smack, but that is such a load of shit. Alcohol is by far the biggest gateway drug. To this day if I get hammered getting a bunch of dope seems like a good idea, I just know enough to resist that feeling now.
I have no problem with people doing whatever drugs they want to, as long as they do it in private and it doesn't affect anyone else in a negative way, its fine by me.
I think if alcohol is legal, everything else should be legal. What in the sweet name of fuck ever happened to personal choice and responsibility? Its not like the shadowy bastard in politics, who are basically pimped by all the major industries (including the alcohol industry), are ever going to get rid of drugs, so why not legalize them, regulate them, and make them as safe as possible?
If you legalize heroin for instance, I highly doubt someone is going to wake up one day and think, maybe I'll stick a needle in my arm, potentially die, and potentially ruin my life and the lives of those I love. Its just not going to happen. The people who would do that shit if it was legal are the same people who are doing it now.
Drugs are illegal because of fear-mongering and misinformation and the pussification of our society which strips away all semblance of personal choice, personal responsibility, and decision making. I'd wager that eating McDonalds on a regular basis, or smoking a pack a day, is every bit as harmful as most narcotics. In my mind there is no worse or more frightening drug than alcohol.

Think of the Alcohol related incidents in a City Centre Hospital on a saturday night, Goverments are screwed up..

Drugs should be legalised i think, none of these Bag heads would be o.d'ing on there rat poisen laced gear... The only crime which is caused by srugs in the U.K is from Heroine and Crack users on the whole.. the rest are just off there nuts in a vlub/pub/bedroom having a good time

I hate drugs im 18 i don't drink or take drugs i like to keep myself healthy.

remember when you took those classes in elementary school to stop you from taking drugs, and they teach you things to say when someone is trying to peer pressure you into taking them like, "no.... i'm allergic" haha

if you're a pot smoker then you probably feel really bad for me, but to be honest i've had maybe 2 good highs in my life and the rest were terrible blocks of time..

Not too long ago, probably when i was like 18,19 (i'm currently 22) I would talk to my friends/co-workers and say that there were a number of things that i would love to enjoy like other people do, because i hated all of them, and did not understand the attraction to them.. and they were as follows..

Beer, weed, and spicy food..

Well 3 years later, I currently love beer.
and i try to find a way to put Frank's Red Hot on just about any food that i eat;D

Just dont mix the two RP33,We have a mixture down here during Mardi-Gras ...Fire bombs,Moltovs,etc."Abita beer" local product out of Abita springs.One of my potna's works for the company and gets the mix they cannot sell (5.8% -6.5 %),they mix it with Local Tobassco ,bottle it and get the whole French Quarter messed up big time. Cajun folk down here put Hot sause's on EVERYTHING
Hot sauce can add all the flair u need.Herb is alright but in moderation= Appreciation .Other wise it makes u a mega smoked out tard.

yeah, Mardi-Gras sounds like a lot of fun..

my cousin smokes at least 3-4 times a day.. everytime he goes out to have a cig he hits the bowl.. amazes me how much that kid smokes..

Last time i smoked i was begging my buddy to take me to the hospital cause i was hallucinating and all paranoid and all that fun stuff.. worst feeling evarrr.

I do not sniff the coke I only smoke, sensimilla. Occasional drinker, but yeah moderation is the key. With everything in life really.

i once tried to smoke kava kava root. didn't work though. ;D

the only drugs i've ever done are by perscription. God bless Zoloft. I aint crazy anymore. :thumb:

I was in the army when I was a youngster at the time my mate were in there drug phaise.


The only pills I have taken are holsten pills. :beerchug:



I agree that alcohol causes more trouble than any other drug and our laws in the UK are out of date.

Just weed...smoke it like cigarettes though.But never caused anyone any harm...quite funny Christmas day me and my brother were enjoying a spliff outside our house when our local labour MP walked up wished us merry Christmas gave us a card and told us to vote labour.

I've tried most stuff except for the real biggies but the only thing I really do now is smoke pot, although not nearly as much as I used too, used to be a chimney, pretty much all day seven days a week. Drink some too, about it really.

London and just because other people do it doesn't mean you have to follow suit. Why would i want to take drugs and ruin my health ?? im not the kind of person that is a sheep and follows what other people do. I do boxing and i do serious training and i eat healthy foods, its up to you what you do with your life but its not for me and i will never drink or take drugs.

Well ICE i think in life you should try and expeience as much as possible, thats all..

I think some people live a very sheltered life its not a dig at you man..

Well put. I hate people who go on about how bad drugs are and will give you propa stick for it. If it aint for you,it aint for you :P

I live Liverpool, North-West England and in some parts drugs is real bad and a few of my mates take them in my college but they know me and know I never would take them and therefore dont ask if I want any. I could easily get my hands on drugs but i don't want to. As ICB said why ruin your health??? and reckon your hard smoking when it will come back on you when you have cancer and heart disease etc and be out of breath after running a few hundred yards, it's not worth it. I just don't like Alchohol end of and I don't drink, smoke, I do exercise but the hardest part for me is eating healthy as ther is chip shops and bakery's etc right next to my college and house so it's hard not to buy a galaxy or a sausage barm etc I just need to cut down on my fatty foods and eat more veg and drink more water which I do like and I'll be fine.

For me, I don't touch them. I tried weed twice a long time ago and it made me physically ill, and the smell makes me gag. The only other drug I ever tried was LSD. That sh#t was fun!! I haven't done it in jeez, 9 years or so? I did it about 5 times and would watch movies or play Playstation snowboarding and listen to TOOL; damn that was fun. But that's it. No meth, valium, pot, coke, anything else. I never understood how people could tap the vein with heroin; crazy sh#t.

I don't even drink, as I can't stand the taste of alcohol and never understood how people looked forward to consuming that nasty stuff. To each their own though. It's funny, because alchohol causes more deaths every year than pot, but somehow the government doesn't mind alcohol being legal.{$$$$$?} Go to sports events and people can buy beer all night, then they tell you not to drink and drive ??? Anyways, I'm rambling again.

I suppose Ive become a bit boring.

I did all sorts of drugs back in the day, but Im glad to say that I live in a society where drugs are not commonplace and where I have little temptation. I can save a lot more where I am and by staying clean of mind and habit.

If people want to take drugs then fair enough, but I wont anymore. Just too young and angsty a thing for me these days. You usually grow out of those kinds of things.

Here's a funny story if anyone is interested. I was thinking back to the last time I did LSD. It was just a couple of days after the Playstation 2 came out, so mid 2000. It was funny cause my friend got me some acid and he said it was real good. Me and my girlfriend were going to do it together and just chill out and goof around.

She decide{good thing} to just kick back and watch me do it, as at the time she lived right next door to my parents. I was on her porch playing the 1st baseball game on the PS2, and I was wondering when that acid would kick in, lol. Next thing I remember is my girlfriend yelling at me; "John, John, WTF are you doing?" I remember I had laid the t.v. on the ground and was kneeling down with my face smashed up against the screen playing baseball ::**....... :lolhaha: That's when I was like, alright dude, this sh#t is kicking in. So I went inside and started watching The Doors and Howard Sterns Private Parts.

My girl kept wigging out as I was in the recliner and my arms and legs were stuck straight up in the air stiff as boards, and I was in la la land like Zab Judah on a bad night :laugh: I don't really remember too much other than Kathy constantly telling me to shut up cause I was yelling at the t.v., and she was worried my parents would come over. Also, I had picked up a bag of Tootsie Rolls before I went over because frying acid and eating tootsie rolls is some fun a## sh#t. Try chewing a tootsie roll when you're frying and it takes forever to eat the damn thing; and there is always tootsie drool running down your mouth because it's so hard to chew. It gets very messy and I remember my girl putting napkins tucked into my shirt to keep the drool off. The best thing about tripping is the tootsie roll ;)

The one thing I really remember well is starting to come down at about 3 in the morning, and I went out back and there was a little gecko on her porch wall. I started screaming" Look at the lizard, look at the lizard, ahhhhhhh". Kathy freaked out and dragged me inside and started yelling at me to shut up, but I won't ever forget her laughing her a## off because I was trippin' on a lizard on the wall. After that I took a bubble bath and went to bed, but it's hard to sleep when you're frying, so I would just be off in weird a## half sleep. I don't know why I am telling this story, but it brought back memories and I figured what the hell; you guys can get a good laugh at my expense.
