After the fight Tessitore asked Pascal you want to fight him?
Pascal smilled and answered yes.

Pascal was at ringside and they got into it AGAIN right after that. Pascal does not impress me, Miranda will hurt him.

Banks looked very small but was doing pretty good in the counter punch dept. Out of no where Pantera hits Banks with an uppercut and then a right bomb that landed right on the button.

That was all she wrote and It was fun to watch the drama between Miranda and Pascal.

I like that ESPN coverage. they do a good job over there. Allen Green was a good a commentary, I enjoyed his input. He speaks the truth about the power shots from different fighters having a different effect on certain chins. . a great insight for the fight fan to enjoy... Well done ! Don’t know much on him? But I like this Allen Green fellow.

yeah and Pascel better be lookin for somebody else. me thinks he wont see 4 rounds with that miranda . Miranda is smarter then people give him credit.. he will bullshit you for a bit, get you settled and then cash your check. .. I like Miranda a great deal... very good for boxing this type fighter. .

Well, I was hoping Banks would have done better but he got caught big time. Miranda will knockout Pascal too if they fight. I thought Banks was gonna do better and he might have if he kept his damn guard up better. That uppercut rocked him earlier in the round and I think he was still recovering when he got bombed on. I was shocked that Banks almost got up, but he was completely out of it.

I agree. I wasn't that impressed with Pascal. Just like Banks, he throws a bit of a lazy jab and keeps his left low. That spells death against Miranda, unless you have a James Toney/Floyd Mayweather level shoulder roll, which Pascal is lacking. Miranda is a raw , but boy, he timed that shot well against Banks. I would look for him to do the same against Pascal. I can see Pascal being up by 4 rounds on the cards and getting completely KTFO in the 5th round when Miranda catching him getting too comfortable.

I know people may think im crazy but to me that punch didn't even look like it landed flush. So that must of been some punch amazing KO.

I still don't think Miranda beats Bute, Kessler, Mundine etc.

I didnt see the fight so i have one question. Do the people that saw this fight think Miranda looks better at 168 han he did 160? He said that he was struggling to make 160 when he fought Pavlik, so does he look in better condition now he doesnt have to drop so much weight?

What I found even more troubling, was after Banks struggled to his feet, he was on very unsteady legs and looked ready to fall again, yet the ref runs off to tell Miranda he was in the wrong corner. He should have been helping Banks!!

Miranda will be better at 168, but he still lacks skill and he's a one dimensional fighter. At the time of the KO, I had the fight 1 round each. Miranda will be troubled by top quality boxers and guys who can back him up. Even at 168, I don't see him beating Pavlik. He loses to Kessler. I give him a good chance against Andrade, because Andrade so easy to hit. I haven't seen enough of Bute, Mundine, or Froch to have my own strong opinion, but people around here seem to think those guys have much better skills and enough strength to stand up to him. Jermain Taylor beats him at 168, and forget about what Joe C would do to him. Guys ranked below the names I mention have something to fear.

Miranda is one guy who i will always give that "punchers chance" in against anyone. Pascal needs to apologize and just leave miranda alone after what i've seen in his last two fights. Pascal is by far a better boxer but miranda would definatly catch him especially if omar pittman could on a night where he wanted to showcase what he had.

Not so sure because even an old Robin Reid caught Froch with wild looping punches. And Froch's chin has never really been tested so its 50-50 fight.

Miranda did what he needed to do against Banks. He made a statement that his power is here at 168lbs, if not even more than at 160lbs. Yea, Banks was no real challange, but he had never been off his feet and Miranda crushed him with one right hand.

I am excited for him and I cant wait to see him face a top 5 guy (just hope its not Pascal). If I had to pick I would like to see him fight Andrade. He is so easy to hit and Pantera has the power to put him out.

Yeah you have to credit Banks for almost beating the 10 count. Or getting up at all

Well he did pretty well against Abraham... He's got so much raw talent, that as long as he keeps working on his technique, he'll be a threat to anyone at 168. Plus, with his power and I think good chin, it'll almost always be the other guy who can't afford to make mistakes.
