I don't blame them, Guzman is a bonafide speed demon. He would destroy Alex
It has this on boxrec and Guzman would destroy him if it happened especially if Steve Foster nearly KO'd Arthur.
Guzman by stoppage or landslide points win.
Absolutely no way Arthur can win....imo.
Hope he proves me wrong. Be very surprised if Warren makes the fight tbh.
Arthur was hoping Guzman would'nt fight him and he would have a gift world title now he is in big trouble big KO loss coming Arthurs way if this fight happens.

Alex Arthur is a fellow Scots man and Scotland being a small country and therefore with few world champions of any kind u wld think id b all for Alex Arthur for this fight and praising him etc but i hope the fight does go ahead but that Arthur gets knocked the f*ck out becoz he is arrogant and thinks WAY too much off himself,he aint dun anythin,he has recently bn talking abt becoming a 3 weight world champion wen he's 29 already and he started boxing 8 years ago.......time enough to hav challenged for a world title b4 now if he woz so great,honestly he's so up himself that 2 years ago wen he fought another scottish guy called Ricky Burns ,a young guy with a then unbearen record(who gave him a real hard fight and had to be on the top of his game to scrape a points win) that afterwards he paraded around the ring with his arm around Ricky Burns shouting out to the crowd "future world champion"....referring to Burns as if Arthur himself woz already a great world champion......pfffttt wotever....wot makes it funnier is since then ricky burns has fought nobodys and fought just 1 other decent guy called Carl Johanneson the current british super feather weight champion and he woz beaten by him....and by a bigger margin than against the "amazing" alex arthur

Arthur couldn't get away from Gomez's left hook he kept walking into it all night. Plus he has no head movement he stands straight up so its easy to tag him with hooks, although Arthur showed a lot of heart in that fight he took too many shots and it was ridiculous how many times he got hit with the left hook.Quote:

Arthur really deserves a battering with the hesitation he has shown.
He has blatantly avoided the world stage, perhaps from fear of being beaten.
He's a little fighter that I like, But Guzman would humiliate him.
Guzman's like 32 years old, this is a waste of time.
Not sure what fights he can get though, he's probably going to be frozen out of the big fights at 130, Pac and JMM are fighting each other, Pac's probably moving up and JMM's getting old, who knows how long he's gonna keep on fighting. Valero's management didn't seem to interested.
Might just need to move up to 135, make a fight with Juan Diaz if he could.
