I think Forrest has every reason to be pissed off, we are going to get PBF V DLH 2 this year and really DLH should be fighting Forrest and PBF should be fighting Cotto. Forrest will beat Mayorga next time for sure then he should give Ike Quartey a rematch that he deserves. Forrest is in no man's land at the moment and you can tell in this interview how frustrated he is, he shouldn't have lost to Mayorga twice and he wouldn't have this problem!

Mayorga-- Has called out Forrest several times...Stated several times in the press conferences leading up to the Vargas fight he was willing to sign a contract then and there...Called Forrest his SON...and stated he will spank him agains if Forrest is willing to sign the contract again...
DLH- Don't worry about what the hell Oscar does...His resume makes Forrest resume pitiful...Fact is and I am not a DLH fan but WTF has Forrest done to even garner himself worthy of stepping in and getting the payday nof a DLH opponent?
Forrest was given a gift against Quartey, Beating Baldo at 154 is nothing to be proud of...shit Baldo had no power and was slower then Tye Fields at 147..WTF beating him at 154 is supposed to impress someone?...
The Piccirillo was a good win but he is 37 and long past his glory days,,,His last real win was over Cory Spinks in 2002!!! since then he has fought crabs and bums....

He looked pretty good against Baldo depending on how you look at it.....I can understand EL G's point and he is right Forrest looked like a fighter with something left in the Baldo bout...He controlled the fight and the tempo...BUT
If you look at it the other way I can agree with Majesty...He looked like garbage because while he won the fight and controlled it look who it was against...as bad as Baldo fought it was impossible to look bad...it was really nothing more then a sparring session...Carlos was sooo slow and had no steam what so ever on his shots...(and they are not too hard to begin with)....
So who do you give more credit to Forrest for looking good or Baldo for looking so bad Forrest could not help but look good?.....
Lets see how he fights against a guy with a bit more spirit in him....He looked like Garbage in the Quartey bout and I find it hard to believe he has rejuvinated so much since then...

Im not down with "this bloke beat that one so that means he cant possibly beat the man who beat the one he couldnt".
Forrest isnt fluent enough in his legs or his mind to adapt his style of fighting to everyone out there.
He will beat some cause he is a master at what he does when he is gettting it his own way .
He wont beat all commers cause he cant do what he does best with that set style against people who move outside of his square and his timing.
Styles dont only make fights they make wins and losses , especially against set styles.

One of my favorite fights period is Spinks Mayorga AKA "The Boxing Lesson Heard Around the World" But when i use to talk about it i didn't get any support. Is this spinks love or just vernon hate?

Good for Forrest its about time he gets that chip off his shoulder, he's been overlooked most of his career IMO. He had that little stint after the Mosely fights and then back to obscurity. He makes good points, why doesnt anyone mention him for a Oscar fight? These names that have been popping up a laughable, he is a clear option but yet he isnt mentioned. Mayorga better be ready for that ass whooping I really believe that Forrest can beat him. Mayorga may take him lightly the way he talks about him like he's his little son, and Forrest has been stewing over those losses, he's gotta take out Mayorga if he wants people to start respecting him.

How could Forrest beat Spinks?
Forrests entire career is based off the Shane Mosley win and like I said in a previous(Forrest could beat Floyd) topic, that Forrest only existed that one night and against that style.
How would he beat Spinks?

I disagree, he had the shoulder problem in that first fight and he is blaming that, which is plausable. He also thinks he won the second fight which was a MD so maybe he isnt so mentally blocked as you think, he seems to be giving himself outs.

You know it would happen, Spinks would make Mayorga look like an amateur.
With fair and inpartial judging and refereeing, Spinks would get dropped least twice en route to losing nearly every round by running away, having no ring generalship, dishing out zero damage or punishment and thus clearly being dominated and losing the fight. Just like the first time.

How would he beat Spinks?
Forest is a good boxer. IMO better than taylor. He would do much of what Taylor did but be alittle more aggressive and catch spinks while he's off balance simular to what Zab did in his 2nd fight against spinks. I like spinks but he has a some bad habits that Forrest would exploit IMO. i gotta go to work so i'll elaborate more later.
So is Spinks whole carreer based on his fight with mayorga.

He's a joke becus he's not a fighter. Not even a boxer. He's a runner. He inflicts very little to no damage upon his opponent and does not even sit down on his punches what so ever. He's a coward and a terribly boring boxer. And I use that term loosely.
Mainly though he's a joke becus I have NEVER seen him win a fight. Least not against anyone of note.
