Okay if you won 1 million pounds in reality what would be the first thing you would buy.
For Americans it would be $2 Million dollars let's say so it would be the equivalent of 1 million pounds.
I just want the first thing, not a hugh list just ONE item.
For me I would buy my Dad a Porsche 911 Turbo car as he's always wanted one.

I would buy alot of stocks and bonds and try to live meagerly off the interest.
The first thing I would do would be buy and furnish a house. I'd spend 500,000 doin that and that would be me my girl and my baby sorted. Then I'd deposit 200,000 in the bank, 50000 would go on livin it up and the last 250000 would go to my parents.

I wanted to write a monetary conversion chart, but you took the wind out of my sails. But I would buy my house. We still owe over $300,000 on it and it would be great to not have that note every month. But after that my needs are pretty simple: new wardrobe, a Dodge Challenger, knock out my student loans and I'm pretty much all set.

I would have a 10,000 sq. ft. building built on our property and make it into the baddest snake room in the world 8)
Buy a new house and also buy my mom a nice place, get a car for my girl and also give 50000 grand each to my girl and my mom so there not short of a few bob, and also get myself a flash motor like a Lotus or etc, im taking my driving lessons at the moment so i'll be able to drive soon, Put some money in the bank, also get my own gym in my nice new house along with a snooker table etc.
Thats basically the first thing i would do.

Well let's see....
For starters I deposit the money in at least 2 different banks.
INVEST! INVEST! INVEST!
I would buy at least 12 more homes fixed them up and then re-sell them. I would buy the homes as I was selling the other that way the revenue can be used in the other homes I would buy in some expensive places so the revenue would be very good.
I know people who buy and re-sell at least 3 homes a month so within 4 to 5 months I could potentially double and actually even triple my money if all went well.
So I'd have about 4 to 6 million by now.
After that I would my parents a home and 2 cars. My dads not into the big expensive things so he'd be OK with like a Ford F-150 my mom on the other hand would want a Land Cruiser the most expensive... ;D I'd also give then 250,000 for spending/bills/food and all that.
Overall I'd spend about 320,000 on them....
Once I had my parent's settled I'd buy myself a home but I'd design it and set it up myself... I'd spend a cool mill on my home.
I have 3 cars nice cars but I'd def. buy my 2 dream cars that I've always wanted. 1956 Jaguar Roadster and a Ferrari...
I'd buy Ring Side seats for just about any BIG fight anywhere around the world. I would also do any of these related to boxing:
Promote, Manage or I would start my own boxing network/channel.
Of course I'd host the show myself and we'd have the weekly mailbag where (Picture Bilbo just like his avatar pic) I'd have Bilbo in a cage with a rag bag that reads Mail in blue letters and he would read a fans letter and answer it.
I'd also buy homes for my brothers... I'd send money to my relatives in Mexico.
I would pay for the remainder of my siblings college and loans... My Mother and Stepfather do pretty good for themselves so I would payoff there car loans and credit card debts as well as my Father and stepmother.
I would payoff my own debt flip my house and get one with more backyard for the misses, as well as putting money away for college for the stepchildren. Like Mick said invest the shiit out of the rest for retirement and security late in life, Other than that I say with the best intentions I wouldnt really alter my life much, I would still have to work... And I would keep my eye on a good resteraunt to buy since I love good cuisine and the culture that surrounds it ;)
Donate considerably to the cancer society since I lost many of family to the horrible affliction
I hate cancer, My Uncle lost his Mother to cancer 2 years ago and he still hasn't been the same since, such a horrible disease and why couldn't one of these footballers like Rooney, Gerrard and Beckham etc who earn hundreds of thousands a pounds a week put a lump sum towards these organizations to help cure cancer, however they won't think about that until one of their close family becomes a victim to cancer.Quote:

Apparently the whole of our monetry society is built around cause and effect and we have to protect it cause it has become so big.
If we were to find a cure for all cancer tommorow and release it to the public at a cheap cost,we would see a breakdown in society as all major hospitals would begin to fold up, millions upon millions of people all over the western world would be without work ,exrays,endograms you name it the whole lot would fold up ,all the specialists and their nurses all the women at the front desks ,the cleaners, the paper suppliers,you name it.
Also the world population would double in maybe ten years and most of them would be older citizens so would cost us a fortune and with the work force down by millions we would disintegrate ad starve as a civillization.
Think about it deeply .
they have and they stop it from occuring whether you like it or not,they are right in a sence to continue what we cant stop ,we as a society would fold up fast if the heavies above the top men who run this place ,didnt silence some people fast and put a stop to some things.
Belive me if you find a cure, take the money you will be offered for it,or you are fuckin dead.
What they have done is made a law to protect themselves by not allowing any new medicne or substance allowed onto the open marketuntil has been tested for at least 20 years or something like that.
IT just sits in shelves with the patent tied up and bought and all for good reason.
Cemo kills more people than it cures you have to be strong or young for it to kill the desease before it kills you and our goverments know it.

Now I've reminded myself about it, I'll probably remember to bring it up with him next time Im in there. The very next time I went in after the growth ,I had an angle grinder blade explode and send a chunk of the wheel into my forearm and we sat there at his table and went in and cleaned it out and sewed it up so we were both pretty spun out by having to clean down into that type of damage.
(He remembers that ok and recons everytime he walks through his garage and sees his own angle grinder he is reminded of me). He cant belive my arm stil functions without any weird feelings.
Here in Australia specially down south we have No ozone layer at all we live under the hole ,its an everyday event for them to cut out skin growths and cancers ,the rule of thumb is they have to cut about 2 inches around a growth the size of a nickle and all the way down to the last flesh level under it, Horrific.
