Jirov? Really?
His most likely opponent will be the Nevada State Athletic Commision
I have to give him his props, In his prime he was a great fighter.
Id still be v interested in seeing Toney fight.
I still feel bitter about the decision in his 1st fight with peter

Anyone have the morbid curiosity to see him take on Roy Jones!? I know I would watch it.
Neither fighter has many options and that one would sell.
this may sound a little crazy but i would like to see against peter. peter's chin has been looking to be on the decline. toney lands alot of punches against him and imo stunned peter a couple of times in their 24 rounds. take a tuneup in spring and fight peter at the end of summer. oh yea and weigh under
220. ;D
;) james toney vs David Tua anyone? ;) ;D
You are kidding right ?? why would Jones go up two weight classes to take on Toney ?? That would be a mismatch even when Jones moved up to Heavyweight he was still under 200 pounds, so Toney would have over 40+ pounds weight advantage.Quote:

Total Landed-6 Landed-1
On the undercard we can have Tye Fields Vs Joe Hipp (in Hipps comeback tour)
The first PPV card we get paid to watch
Tua vs Peter would be good ;)
He looked pretty bad in his last two fights so I dont think he will ever crack the top 10 again, especially at 39 and 5'10 with a 72 inch waist.
And losing it seems. How about Toney V Butterbean in a 4 rounder? Hee hee at a catchweight of 320pounds.Quote:

Maybe we can get Toney some sort of funds filling in for the Michelin Man on advertising campaigns, so he doesn't have to keep on fighting and embarrassing himself, either by his performances or his constant failing of drugs tests.
I like seeing Toney fight still. Maybe I am the only one. I don't care if he has to go to Utah to do it either, I just hope they are televised.
Referring to our previous debate...what do you think about Toney v Mesi in a ring somewhere on the salt flats....that'll provide an epic backdrop for it....even if they have to manually line out all the chairs for the fans though! :pQuote:

Like I said I don't know the full details...
I respected Toney as a professional athlete about 5 weight divisions ago.
....perhaps all those James Toney fans who thought he could beat Wladimir Klitschko would like to see that fight come to fruition now????
Any takers???? yeah that's right you suck
Yeah I think that would be awesome. I think that would make for a bizarre and fitting night. Can you imagine an hour drive out to the Salt Flats and you see all these lights and the sounds of generators?? That would be creepy and totally cool.Quote:

James Toney ate himself right out of a career and qutie possibly the heavyweight title. Fat bastard. So much talent, so little discipline.
....I think he could give David tua a go
in Sumo wrestling!
i'm not mad at that match up. Just as long as he doesn't start callin out DLH like every other fighter.Quote:

Im trying to lose weight right now ,so far 11 pounds in two and a half weeks. If I can do it without millions on the line WTF cant Toney? Push the plate away beeouch!
Toney was an amazing fighter with all of the tools, but it is time for him to hang em up. I hope he doesn't turn into another Yory Boy...fighting against guys with losing records in 3rd tier venues. However, I wouldnt put it past him to take down some top 10 guys at light heavy, the last thing to go is the power
It is hard to believe what was once this:

Im a huge Toney fan, but have serious doubts about wanting to see him back in the ring. He's been out so long and he hasnt looked good in his last two fights really. Maybe it is time for James to hang 'em up.
