Bika turns down Andrade fight.
Contender champ Sakio Bika has said in Australia that he will not be taking the proposed fight v Librado Andrade. His reason is that since the Contender final he has not been training, and wouldnt be in shape by the time of the fight.
He said he would try to get a shot against WBA interim champ Anthony Mundine.
This is disappointing a Bika v Andrade fight would have been insane.

Although It's a given fact Andrade will absorb some shot's I think His workrate could cause Miranda concerns.

I think Andrade would out methodical Miranda,No way this go's 12 and I think Miranda would gas out late.For as simple as Andrade presents It,He gets pretty strong as he goes and I think hewould outlast and out endure Miranda over time.
Both get insulted If you dont hit them in the face and I dont think either one could outbox a heavybag strapped to a treadmill honestly but I really think Pantera would be much to reliant on pure power knowing Andrades face first style.

I can see it happening actually Wack. It would make some decent cash here in australia cos Bika got some good publicity with the contender. Our casual fans really want Mundine to lose because of his arrogance and anytime another aussie fighter is promoted as having a chance against him (green, soliman) the PPV does really well.
In reality it'd be an easy win for Mundine.

Reguardless of his contender win and all IMO Bika does not have much left...1 maybe 2 good fights....even at 29 or 30 whatever he is....he had some tough fights early on and his team did not fix things that should have been addressed early in his career..it took a lot away from him...though Bika has given some good showings and has never been KO'd...his power is not enough to give him the "Punchers chance" in fights...especially against Andrade...
Bika and his team are no idiots they figure to hold out on a bigger name fight for more money even if it is just an an opponent

I think Andrade would beat Bika with little drama involved.
Andrade-Miranda however is a toss up. Andrade has an iron chin, but he aint no superman. Taking bombs from Miranda for 12 rounds might cause some problems further down the road.. Though I can't seeing Andrade being knocked out, by anyone.
I think Miranda is going to be a more powerful beast at 168 then at 160 where he admitted he was greatly weakened trying to make weight. He and Andrade would make a war, but I wouldn't wish the abuse they would create on either one of them!

Dissappointed that we are not going to see this fight. I wonder if Lacy can make it happen! AND I've not seen ANYONE say Andrade can box or anything like that so no idea where you get that from Rob....We say what he is,a tough tough guy who can punch,is totally sloppy and has never heard of the word defence.He's never going to be a world beater BUT he can damage anyone he fights.Even Kess showed him some respect by not standing directly in front of him,using angles.

Andrade is the one name that Miranda said he would like to fight next (other than the champs). The problem is, there is no money for this fight so I doubt they will be able to make a deal with him. Pantera is better of making top dollar and kicking the hyped Pascal in his home town.
If the fight did come off, I dont see why Miranda wouldnt be able to stop Andrade. He is soooo easy to hit and was put on his ass in his last fight.
