Chambers almost robbed

Wow, there's no question Povetkin won but it seemed like Eddie was the faster and much more accurate fighter at first. Eddie lacked heart at the end though , Dissapionting . But it kinda scared me when I saw that he weighed in at 219 ? i think it was, which is around 6 pounds heavvier than he ever weighed. As for the scores, 119-109-- RIDICILIOUS , dam, that judge suks ... so if eddie won the last two rounds, id give the fight to him, but that judge would still see it a BIG povetkin win. hmm 117-111, ehh, ok but not great... 116-112 thats goods,

115-113 Povetkin is what I got.

yup that judge score is awful, i think povetkins prevail at the later rounds. i got it 16-12 for povetkin, giving him a u.d just like i predicted ;D

After the 6th chambers went to sleep or something, povetkin was behind by like 50+ shots landed thru halfway the fight, yet he was ahead by 4 or 5 at the end of the fight. All in all an entertaining heavyweight fight , that got a bit one sided in povetkins favor towards the end.

I agree. I actually expected a boring fight. But it wasn\'t.

Even when Chamber was doing well in the earlier rounds, he was still only fighting in spurts. In that situation many judges give the edge to the busyer guy rather then the more accurate guy.

I haven't watched the fight yet, but I thought that Chambers would win a UD.

From what I read about the fight it sounds like Chambers was obviously the more skilled fighter, but lacked the heart and effort.

If I were a judge I would take accuracy and effectiveness over pure output and busyness.

But it doesn't sound like Chambers was robbed or even "almost" robbed ??? It sounds like he let Povetkin take the fight and it's his own fault.

How in the hell did Chambers almost get robbed?

Chambers lost the fight...PERIOD.

I think Chambers was actually afraid to get hit.. Dude did not throw a punch starting at the middle of the fight to the end.

he covered up and waited for a shot with no danger of getting hit back.

That was an AWESOME Entrance. Like everyone has been saying. I was very impressed man I want a hot girl with a flag. And then I want an orchestra.

I am from the US and we are not going to have any heavweights worth a damn for a long time. NObody has any discipline. No care and no hunger. There was only one you hungry undeafeated fighter in the ring last night. Chambers is a fat bastard who should be way down in cruiser or below. What a slob.

Chambers must have been beating up on people from Eastside to compile his undeafed record.

Good win for Povetkin and he deserved the decision - No doubt.

Sorry bud with all due respect if you were a gudge and scored it 115-113 then trust me, the majority of us here would probably be talking about you!! Something along the lines of "What the FUCK was that judge smoking". Povetkin won no doubt.

Chambers is a flat footed counter puncher, with no stamina past 5 rounds and no plan B. His potential is Maxed out. Dead Legs. Take away his one good strength and u have what u seen, A contender. Thats it, a fighter that is rank IMO about 11 or 12. No further

Eddie Chambers won about 4 rounds....other than that his punch output was too low because either he got tired or didn't feel comfortable throwing more punches.

But when Eddie threw he did more damage and landed cleaner

Chambers robbed himself and some of us if anything.

I hate to say but I most be honest I had it 10 rounds to 2.Say what you will but for me Chambers was faster and showed alot of skill but guess what in fight you must THROW PUNCHES.I mean come on 290 ish punches in 12 rounds of boxing.S**T I fight in the amateur's with three rounds too work and I throw more than that.

I must say.If the fight so close to some of you why was his father begging him to get his ass into gear in like the 4th round and every round thereafter and you can't bring up being in Germany and being robbed and all that.His father was saying what I was seeing."You've got to get going"."Did you travel this far to lose".

The fight was close to a point but the first few rounds Chambers was clearly getting the better of Povetkin.....and either he gassed out or just didn't feel comfortable throwing punches in the later rounds. The fight was close for a while....a lot closer than Povetkin expected it would be I am sure

Do you think maybe he got caught with something early that made freeze up. I think he is a very defensive minded fighter and doesn't know how to switch to offense easily.If that makes sense.That's the only thing I could think while watching it.
