Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
i sure remember mine.....even though it wasn't the best boxing match in the world, it had a little funny thing that happened that made me remember it so well.
the first fight that i watched was Zab judah Vs. Cory Spinks II.
how awesome was it to see zab knockout a guy who was fighting in his hometown, so cocky that he even had nelly sing for him during his entrance. The embarrassment that cory must have felt was so funny i just couldnt forget it.
well anyway the win also made zab undisputed champ of the world.

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
I'll never forget it. I must have been about 4 going on 5 yrs.
It's still fresh in my mind like it was yesterday.....
JCC vs. 'The Black Mamba' I
Those were the days when I used to charge $5.00 dlls at the door at my uncles house... About 30 to 40 people would come from all around the neighborhood to see JCC fight.... Ahhh! great years.... :)

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
I was about 14 years old I think it was a Tyson fight.

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
I used to always watch the replays on HBO.
I think the first one I ever ordered was Tito-Vargas.

I'm 27.
First PPV fight I can remember watching as a kid was Holyfield-Foreman. I didn't order it though, I just saw a replay.
Throughout the 90s, I never ordered the PPVs, I just watched the replays on HBO. None of my family members were boxing fans, and my friends were all basketball/football fans, so I wasn't dropping $50 on a fight back then.
Didn't start actually ordering the fights until college, and I believe Tito-Vargas was the first one I ordered.

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
Tyson-Lewis maybe? although it has only been over the past 4 years or so that i got really into boxing. Before that i was just a casual fan at best....took it as ali was the best ever period without question etc yano the type! I remember reallllyyyy starting to watch loads of old fights and look up history and buy tonnes of dvd's and books around the Kostya-Hatton fight a couple of years back though! So yeah believe it or not i am pretty new meself to the boxing game!!

I sware man that's one of my must do's.... To see Cotto fight live. Haven't had the chance yet I hope he brings his ass to Vegas soon. Chances are it'll be IF and when he fights PBF....
I'm gonna be at Williams vs. Quintana & Marquez vs. Vasquez III... So I'm really looking forward to that.

Yes, planning on it. MSG is great.

If that fight ever happens, I'm planning on going, whether it's in NYC or Vegas.

That's great, Marquez-Vasquez III should be awesome.
You planning on going to Floyd-Oscar II if it's in Carson?

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
I talked my dad into ordering Tyson v Ruddock when I was 18. Great bonding experience. I think it was the first time we got drunk together. I'll never forget that after the fight, Tyson gave credit to Ruddock and said he "hit like a mule kick." Good times.

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
My first Pay Per View was Leonard/Hearns in 81
It was not PPV, but somewhat like it. I saw it Closed Circuit in the Halifax Forum in Nova Scotia.
I was 13 :D
Everyone was leaving saying: "The Hitman got hit!"
I saw Hagler vs Hearns and Tyson vs. Spinks in the same venue via Closed Circuit. It felt like you are actually at the fights, along with 5000 fellow screaming fans. it was a lot of fun and I wish they still did it that way. They had preliminary live action which added to the fun. I miss those days!

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
Holyfield vs Tyson 1 i had just turned 7 the good old days ;)
-
Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
The first one I can remember clearly was Tyson - Spinks. That was a very short experience but I remember it like it was yesterday.
There must have been others since I know my dad loved seeing the Tyson fights but that is the first I remember.

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
Umm...Collins fights were an early memory.
All the Benn Fights...
-
Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
Hatton v Tzsyu where everyone fought Hatton would get battered....but he never ;D
-
Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
Probably Holyfield vs. Lewis II.
I knew nothing of boxing but thought Holyfield got screwed over. ;D
-
Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
I was lucky my sister worked at a cable company and had all the PPV fights free in the 1990's.
Had to pay later so the first was Lewis v Tyson, also remember ordered Jones v Ruiz on setanta because it was an historic event cost £12.

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
Things are fuzzy on First PPV I saw live........The first I purchased and absolutly wrecked my first apartment :-X Was Holyfield Vs. Foreman. The cost of the fight was nattas compared to the Fat keg and the lose of the security deposit ,Ouch.F!!!! It.I regret nothing.
Great event all around ,and just as i was Joked before the Holyfield vs.Douglas fight when I said Holyfield W. Ko Douglas In the 5th ( before we knew he was sporting some mean manboobs)......No one thought Foreman would make a fight of It.Those 23 hooks off Foremans noggin were amazing.Holyfield was hurt big time to the body (5th???) and really gassed at end. Memories abound ;D ;D

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
Well the De La Hoya Trinidad was me renting it but the first PPV I seen was Tyson Holyfield in which my brother rented but the bill went to the same place so I guess Holyfield Tyson was the first one.

Re: Your Very first PPv fight you remember seeing?
Bruno Tyson 2 at a mates house. I remember Hamed on the same night throwing two punches in a minute, landing two, and flooring the guy twice.
