Which fight would you prefer to see:Shane v Zab or Shane v Mayorga?

I know a Mayorga fight is in the pipeline,but which would be better,more exciting?I actually think a Zab fight would,but I'm loathed to see Zab get another shot at making $$$ for no apparent reason.I think Shane beats up Mayorga,but I could be wrong.

This is a good question and a very close call. From an entertainment standpoint I would say Mayorga because that guy knows how to sell a fight and his style in the ring is that of a wildman. A Judah fight may be more competitive but I am sick of Zab getting his butt whipped. Let's see the Mayorga fight

I'd like to see Shane fight Zab. I think Zab is getting desperate for a big win and I'd like to see where that leads.

I'd prefer to see him fight Zab Judah as I like Shane and having fight the last remaining truly great trash talker of our era will mean my heart will be torn either way.

I want Mayorga to beat up on Vernon again and I'd love to see Sugar Shane give Zab some more dance instruction

Actually if that fight did come off Zab should be the next boxer on Dancing with the Stars. He's already demonstrated that he's got the moves, he's a natural :D

shane kayos judah inside of 5 id rather see mayorga...but then again i love watch zab get beat up

Mayorga, hands down.

Either would be fun to watch... Shane takes both fghts. Zab has the skill but has never harnessed it for a WHOLE FIGHT! Mayorga would just walk into shots... Shanes to fast!

I'd rather see Mosley-Judah at 147 than Mosley-Mayorga at ~154. Judah has a lot more skill than Mayorga, who's nothing but a glorified club fighter at this point.

I just wanna see Zab loose a fight period.

If he fights SSM and looses people will just say he lost to a SSM and theres no shame in that....
If he fights Mayorga and looses people will just say well Mayorga was this.... and Mayorga was that... and he beat Forrest and yadda! yadda! yadda! blah! blah! blah!

Like most people on here I'd much rather see Mayorga vs. Zab Judah. Mayorga would knock his ass out and Zab would have a reasonably chance of actually outboxing Mayorga and winning a fight for a change. It'd be a damn near even fight goin in.

Mosley on the other hand would be a big favorite over either. And rightfully so.

Agreed....TBH I don't think Mayorga has fear of anyone?.....IMO Forrest won't be able to hold him off especially at this point in his career...not to mention as you said he has him beat mentally

Yeah Forrest actually beat Picarillo more decisevly than El Matador, but that was a much older Picarillo and Picarillo came to fight Forrest and try to outbox him NOT run like he did in the later stages of his fight with Mayorga once he got floored early and tasted the power.

I'd probably rather see Mayorga beat Spinks up in a rematch and avenge that "loss". But I'll settle for watchin him beat up the dirty, cheap shotting, Forrest.

i like a shane zab fight right now better. shane's last fight even though a loss was a good fight he still has skills left and zab is his best fight right now, im not downplaying mayorga he is a solid brawler who would give mosley troubel but a judah fight would be a good one imo

Mayorga wouldnt Ko Judah since a tough Cotto needed a while to do it. Mayorga would outwork him though although the skill level is on judah's side.

Against Mosley , Mayorga would lose a decision but it would be closer than one would imagine.

Forrest is a big mouth fool. He lost to Mayorga twice and whilst he cals him out and threatens him when in interviews,I don't think he had made any serious efforts to make the fight. I hope Mayorga KTFO him out,KTFO Zab too. Im no Mayorga fan at all but he's exciting for sure. A Shane fight would be good.

Yeah that's a good point,Danny G,you asked which weight would this fight be at,I'd say 154,because I don't see Mayorga coming back to 147,otherwise he would have done so already as all the big fights are there. 154 is the lowest he can go.

He was parrying alot of shots and reading Mayorgas wild swings much better than Forrest and Vargas managed to . The only decent shot I remember from Mayorga was a right uppercut which Oscar gave a nod of appreciation to .

When Oscar tries to copy Floyds defence I think he's awful yeah . Sturm just punched stright through it but on the night in question Oscar played a very smart defensive game.

Are you sure bro?I'll take your word for it,I just remember Oscar basically outgunning Mayorga and Ricardo landing a few flush punches but them not having any effect.Maybe I'm wrong.

It was the best ive seen him defensively ( Tito aside ) Maybe its cuz Mayorgas shots are easy to see coming so it exagerated Hoyas defenceive skills . I duno . He was very good that night though considering he just took two beatings off Hop and Sturm .
