Im not really a big fan of Khan's but he has good skills and he has improved a lot. I think he should face Yuri Romanov for his next fight, and if he wins in good fashion then take on Michael Katsidis, then take on one of the big boys at Lightweight like Juan Diaz who i think would beat Khan, but whats your opinions ??
I rekon he should fight Thaxton next and just shut him up. I wasnt impressed with St Clair last night, he just didnt throw anything. He had a good guard but I believe that a better fighter at lightweight will be able to throw more and Khan wasted a lot of shots just hitting him on the arms.
Im not taking anything away from that victory last night because Khan looked very dominant against a former world champion. I did have him winning every round in the fight too. So well done to Khan. He showed he can go 12 rounds, but there is still a long road ahead for him.
I look forward to see the next Khan fight and hope he keeps the better fighters coming.
I would like it to be Thaxton but i think the Promoters are playing power games at the minute and it might backfire on the fight getting made. :(
Khan is improving though... i just see Thaxton as the next step up ;)
Sorry but Kahn isn;t to me improving at all. He is getting older and its a boy turing into a man, but thecrystal clear flaws are still there.
The boy has a piss poor stance and has a pathetic jab. UNtill he works on them he will never be a world champion.

There's rusty and there's shot. If he'd just been rusty he still would have had enough to win the fight against a guy who let's face it was nowhere near world class. I think Casamayor was a fantastic boxer and a prime Casamayor would have toyed with Katsidis, but he's a long way from his prime. St Clair was decent but clearly undersized and has power equivalent to Ian Napa. I thought Khan did what was expected.
Romanov would be his first "dangerous" opponent.. although probably more likely will be knockover job in Vegas.

I suppose it's reasonable to assume Katsidis and his WBO belt is the one Khan will gravitate towards. Then again, with Warren mentioning the prospect of going Stateside for Khan's next fight, does anyone think they might have David Diaz in mind for two or three fights down the line? He looks the most vulnerable of the belt-holders and he would likely come for the lowest price. Just a thought.Quote:

Reckon he's ready for a top 10 guy too, but it won't be in April if he's going to the states. I'd probably pick Romanov next.
I thought he looked good on saturday, but nothing unexpected. He''ll need a proper test before stepping in with the belt holders, but I just can't see who, there's to much gap between the top 4/5 and the rest. While I reckon Khan is more skilled than Katsidis, he's a hell of a dangerous fight to take without properly being tested before hand, and no, I don't think Thaxton is the guy to test him.

Khan woud be in serious trouble against katsidis. Katsidis aint the most skilled but the man has got some raw power and he knows how to use it. I dont think khan is ready for that yet.
