Bilbo requests fashion advice
Ok, so my reading of 'The Game' has led me to understand some things about myself that need improving in order for me to be more attractive and appealing to women..........
My current clothing style can only be described as generic. I just wear jeans and a jumper or a shirt. Nothing fancy at all.
My hair is short back and sides with a little bit spikey, it's an uninteresting browny sort of colour.
I have no accessories whatsoever, no necklace, bracelets, tatooes, a watch or skarfs etc, not even a man bag.
So I want to jazz myself up a bit......but honestly I have no fucking clue what to do!
How do I know what hairstyle would suit my face, and what clothers I SHOULD be wearing?
I've been given the advice to find my own style and see what works for me, well that's great if I HAD a sense of style to begin with :-\
I really need the cool cats on this site, Mick and......well I guess just Mick to advise me.
Come on buddy, any ideas?

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
LOL I considering asking for fashion advice on here but I figured i'd get burnt at the stake with humiliation..
You're just crazy enough to get away with it though...
I was thinking about the same thing though and came across 2 great sites..! I live in Australia though so ordering from either is going to be expensive as hell! Especially the UK one, which will be okay for you though.
Rock Rebel Clothing - Denim
Their is a tonne of "Affliction" stuff on there... the jeans are $$$ as hell, but you're hobit ass will be getting comments left right and centre from women in any of their jeans... I'm thinking of taking out a second mortgage on my house to buy a pair or 2, but scared they won't fit and then i'll be left with $500 worth of useless denim to send back to the other side of the world..
Anyway, their shirts are pretty cool too! Not to tacky, and if you watch the start of Pavlik Taylor,,,, Pavlik takes off his robe to unveil an Affliction t-shirt... If it's good enough for the ghost to sport right before knocking Taylor TFO, it's good for us right?
The other I found is a UK site.. The main attraction I found there were their collection of "Lowlife" belts... They have like 60 different styles and all ultra original.... One is has like this brown cat fur all over it..
http://kerrang.ebtm.com/images/Produ...L525BRN_1_.jpg
Can you say pimp? Match some of the above jeans up with a cool belt,,, their's half your outfit right there..
Here's the link
EBTM - Belts and Band Merchandise and Music Inspired Fashion
Some of the belts are a bit 'rock/punk' but you'll find something that you'll like...
Finally, i've found one other website that has some coooooooool jewellery
Stainless Steel Bracelets
That link takes you directly to the mens bracelets which look trendy enough to suit a budding PUA without being over the top ghetto...
I don't think any man could read that book without feeling their inner pimp wanting to come out ! Good on ya man..
-
Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
Thanks bro, glad I've given you the confidence to come 'out' as well. We pick up artists should be proud.
A cat fur belt, I like it!
I'm not sure what kind of look to cultivate. I'd like to try a bad boy look but let's be honest I'm a chump and I'd look like a tit dressed like that.
I wish there was some makeover guy with a book and dvd set out there but I can't find anything
Mick on here seems a really stylish guy, but being half Mexican his look obviously would look ridiculous on me so I can't copy him.
I was thinking of dressing like Mystery or Neil Strauss but if I did there's no way I'd even make it to the club alive.
I could even take a taxi and the driver would probably beat me up lol
-
Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
I already thought of a playful routine for the belt as well.
If a girl notices it :
"oh yeah, my belt... *start stroking/petting it*, good old whiskers,,,, she was such a darling.. My neices just lover her,, so when she died I just couldn't bring myself bury her..."
*bang, girl punches you in the arm* :pimp2:
I'm sure Mick will have the goods when he gets here..

I was thinking of getting one in elephant or Zebra. I don't think my tale of how I spent a week poaching on the Serengeti would go down very well

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
Just put on a nice collar with a leather leash trailing behind and make sure you have vaccinations in order and go out to the park. Also, make sure you shave your ass so no dingleberry's are hanging about. Girls are suckers for a lonely little dog needing a companion; especially ugly ones who whine alot. Hope this helps mutant boy.

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
Well, Bilbo. Even though I am greatly upset by you selling out, and it seems like the old, witty, cynical hermit Bilbo may be gone for good. However, once your confidence is completely shot by a female or two rejecting your advances, all will return to normal, so I will still offer advice :D I have had many attractive girls/women's in the past year ranging from 18-early 40's and of many different ethnicities, styles, socio-economic status, and temperaments. I have even had a few gay men come on to me, which I find more flattering then an attractive girl/women going slutty over me nowadays!
It is less about what you wear then how you present yourself or show who you are. But clothes/cologne/accessories do help show that, after all many things in the world are based on the superficial and external perception, and picking up women is one of them. So..
Dont wear anything you wont feel comfortable in because no woman wants a man to walk up to them who seems unsure of themselves. I know you are a bit older then I, but a style that can work into the late 20's-early 30's is a nice pair of slim fitting (but not ass grabbingly tight) jeans, a graphic thermal long-sleeve or tee shirt. Something along the lines of "Affliction" but in my opinion that brand is so overdone right now and the designs go too far. You dont want to be another guy walking around with a flaming-tribal-skull or retro-trendy camo design with a celtic tree in the middle, especially if you are around 30. I am in college and see a lot of guys walking around in ass-grabbing jeans and an extra small affliction shirt and leather bracelets but you can tell they are trendy-bandwagon tools and only appeal to girls ages 18-19 who dont know any better. A woman (24 and over) would never give them a second look, and I will assume you are after women over young college girls (though I know you are after as young as you can get, you degenerate pervert ;D )
Maybe you should save the money it would cost for all the clothes, colognes, watches, and buy a Slovakian mail order bride instead? They don't eat much and if you chain them to the bed they can't run away.

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
GQ....read it then go buy similar style threads for cheaper but that will get you the look you want. Go to outlet stores...Polo outlets are the shit as are Brooks Brothers.
Hell if you go into a real Brooks Brothers #1 be ready to drop hella cash and #2 they will tell you what looks good it's their job

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
Speak to female friends and relatives. If you're trying to go from average scruffy bloke to edgily well-dressed overnight you stand a big chance of looking silly. Ask females you know who are over 20 and under 60.

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
Get yourself a nice hat or something, I like to sport a Pork Pie hat or a Bowler. Bowler hats arent for everyone though. Also putting some shoes on those hairy feet would help.

Nah, if I saw someone walking around with one of those on, I would definately keep my distance. ;D To go one better you should get one that straps to your chin lololol

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
Bilbo is already wearing one, you just can't tell because the important part is up his anus where he keeps is warm next to his Gerbil named Gandalf.

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
This stuff is going to your head bilbo. Personally I always dress conservatively but very nice. nice sport coat, unless I am going to a real smoky bar then I hate to have my shit all smoked up.
Just dress real nice Bilbos. I like a kick ass button up shirt, lucky. DKNY. silver jeans they don't have to cost a million but just fit nice. Personally DKNY jeans are what I really like. or do it up with nice khakis loads of good stuff out there.
I try to dress in something that if someone took a picture of me that if someone brought it out in a decade I wouldnt be bummed out.
Maybe that isn't the best way to get bimbos. But nice girls like a business looking dude. Business threads and a smile.

Ain't that the fucking truth!
I don't appreciate having my jackets or sweaters all smokey but dress shirts get dry cleaned and therefore don't retain that smokey smell for long. I guess you could dry clean your jackets and sweaters but still it's a pain

As far as fashion goes I am pretty much in the same boat as you I would suppose...if not for the fact my wife dresses me:(...Laugh all you want gent s but she knows more about that stuff then I do....If you have any female friends..(not even ones you are dating)...ask them...girls will dress you into what they think guys should look like....Just don't ask an ugly one who has scrub boyfriends:mad:.....
If it were up to me I would wear Old Navy farmer jeans and either a T-shirt or long sleeve shirt all the time...I can care less about fashion....Then again I am married and not looking for any lady friends so it doesn't really matter:-\

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
Bilbs,
Heres some brands to look into.
1921
True Religion
FCUK
Guess
Monarchy
D&G
Diesel
Aldo
Kenneth Cole
Express
Lyle brough up a very good point magazine. Most magazines do clothing wears for certain season look thruough it and do similar things to them but alternate to best suit you. For example if I see on the magazine dressed up but I notice he's wearing a turtle neck I'll change the turtle neck to a mock neck. Things like that.... :)
Good luck.

Cheers for the advice buddy, quite frankly you're the only person on here whose advice I would trust.
Most of the guys on here like they chose their outfits by covering themselves in glue and running into a charity shop, now I'm a pick up artist I can only roll with slicksters like yourself.
I need to accessorise I think. You have your trademaek shades, but also things like bracelets and necklaces, you know classic peacock plumage. I need some of that shit.
I'm going to start reading AskMen.com and other sites for advice I think.

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
Bilbo, no matter what you actually look like try this, it's universal and works for any man under 40 with a bit of charisma.
You need some light Blue jeans, they can be shredded but it's not obligatory.
A complimentary shirt, maybe light blue or something more daring.
On top of that throw a suit jacket. Yep a black or navy thing, pin stripe is cool but I wouldn't risk it personally
And here's the controversial part....Cap it off with some blinding white runners.

I think I've got something that's right up your alley Bilbo. A chainmail codpiece, or really any codpiece will do.
How can you not get comments on them? You could be like its to keep the babes at bay, because your tired of women trying to grab your junk.

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
As you all know yer man Memphis got into a spot of bother going back some years for punching some useless cunt in the mouth and wound up in court.
My partner in crime at the time 'Gaz' (says it all really ;D ) turns up to court looking like Don Johnson. I swear to god, he turns up in a peach jacket with black slacks and a blindingly white T-Shirt. I didnt check but Im sure he had no socks on.
Bilbo at the end of the day you've got to see something, like it, try it on, if you still like it, buy it. Its OK sticking with designer names but that doesnt guarantee you wont look a cunt. Take a woman with you to buy clothes ;)
Dont wear a bracelet mate, please.

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
Dildo here's some brands you might want to consider.
D&G
Armani Exchange - My personal favourite
Timberland
DKNY
Abercrombie & Fitch
Calvin Klein
Polo (Ralph Lauren)
Y3 (Yohji Yamamoto) - That shit is expensive.
Burberry

I think you're going a bit overboard here like Bilbo... Books obviously been a big influence because now you're either
a) Quoting what you read in it like it's the truth...
b) Speaking like the dick heeeed who wrote it... ;)
How much Success's have you had with it? is it just because that one chick spoke to you in a bar or what?... ;)
And this peacocking thing... it's like blokes with with shite 'wacky' hair... or who dress like dicks etc... it's to draw attention from their ugly faces...
If you're an ugly cunt and you can't talk for shit then you don't deserve woman anyway... :P
What happened to getting by on good lucks and not being an arsehole? From what I've heard all these books teach you is: Not to take yourself too seriously when talking to woman... not be an overnice creep.
Don't need a fucking novel to tell you that do you? takes a sentence ;)

That would be Sperry Top Siders (no socks), a white leinin suit, and a pastel colored designer t-shirt.
THAT'S Don Johnson from Miami Vice, what hitmandonny suggested is more like Paulie Malinaggi

Nice call Mick.. I have 3 pair of Diesel jeans and they're DAMN expensive.. i think the cheapest one was $190, but they're all killer.. I mean, i wouldn't spend that much money on something that wouldn't be distinctive.. Jeans can def make an outfit Bilbo, make sure they fit you correctly, and you could have a cheap ass $12 button down shirt and so long as it's the correct length you'll look like you knew what you were doing when you picked them out.

Well you also can't over accesorise... Too much wrist bands and or necklaces can make it loook bad...
You gotta know when a good necklace can go well with the shirt your wearing.
Also don't wear a watch in one hand and a bracelet in the other that looks shitty.... ;)
-
Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
That's something I've always naturally felt... Dunno if it works for other people but try wearing like wrist bands or what ever on both wrists.
Just feels shite :P

Re: Bilbo requests fashion advice
you know.. what you should do is get one of those "livestrong" bracelets.. but get one that supports a specific cancer, so that if a girl asks what it says, you can be like "oh thats my breast cancer support bracelet"..
;)

Actually that's a neat idea. I am an ex cancer sufferer having had Hodgkins Disease for several years.
If I had a bracelet for that it would be a great way to immediately demonstrate how brave I was in the face of death and hit some serious DHV spikes
You definitely deserve some rep for that R2D whatever.

Seriously the Prague girls will be all over me, I'll just point my laser watch at them and they will come over. I'll tell the story of my cancer bracelet to demonstrate bravery in the face of danger and then tell them they are losing my interest and roll off.
They will 'naturally' seek to re-engage me and then I can say 'I hate you! Come here your adorable!' the classic neg compliment used by Mystery the King of Pick Up.
Man I can't wait fot this trip, now where I can get such a cool watch?
Also I think I'll take a toy gun, after all it's worked for Violent D right :)
