I met Manny Pacquiao at Calasiao, Pangasinan Cockpit Arena in the Philippines. He had over 50 entries (fighting roosters). It was 3 days and 3 nights event. National Derby what they called.
I didn't even know he was gonna be there. We just shoke hands and that's pretty much about it.

Re: whose the most famous boxer you have met ???
I said 'hello' to sugar ray after the Contender... spoke to Jesse Brinkly a bit too. Anthony Small was at the after party but I didn't really speak to him that much, he'd been sparring a lad I know from Hylton Castle ABC and he was talking to him.
Met Glenn Mcory a few times, he got put in hospital after visiting a pub near me - he tried to break up a fight between a load of charvas and ended up getting smacked in the back with a road sign... :s He used to come into the Cinema a bit when I worked there and he's phoned me up on one occasion trying to make me fight one of his lads when I had a near broken wrist! :P Was also at the Contender V.I.P. party.
I'm guessing he was pissed during at least 50% of these occasions... he likes to put it away... good bloke though, my brother saw him out on the town - said some incomprehensible stuff to him and gave him a bear hug! :P
Met Henry Cooper at a book signing, I wasn't actually boxing at the time but was telling him that I was also an identical twin - I have to admit I didn't start boxing because Our 'Enry told me too... :-/
Met Micheal Jennings at a boxing show almost 2 years ago as well... again spot on kid.
Oh and I saw - I think it was Paul Smith getting KNOCKED back from the V.I.P. party too - because he had his team UK tracksuit on... madness! :P

I met them and touched the tag team belts, and had half of a mind to try to touch Sunny but my mom was there so i didn't..

Re: whose the most famous boxer you have met ???
I met Wayne Llwellyn and Pat Barrett in the ringside seats when Naseem Hamed fought Daniel Alicea at the Newcastle Arena.
I also met Naz (I WAS a big fan) he had been showing his belt at a Newcastle football match. I saw him outside and held my hand out to shake as he walked up to me. I saif 'Naz I am a huge fan you're doing Britain proud' he looked me up and down and walked on without a word or a hand dkahe. I was gutted.
Highlight for me though was speaking to Lloyd Honetghan on the phone. I was on a Union course and was talking to the organiser in the bar on the evening. Talk got around to boxing and I mnetioned that I trained and that my British one of my favourite British fighters was LLoyd. This guy said 'Oh he's a mate of mine hang on' He got his mobile out rang a number and said 'Hey Lloyd it's ****** got a fan wants to speak to you'. I was literally almost speechless and what with being a bit full of guinness babbled on like a fool. Priceless talking to him though.

Such a groupie lol!
Watch out for Zab Judah when you go to Gleason's, I've heard he's a player
But be gentle with him, his jaw is so fragile if he buried his head in your chest you may accidently kill him.

Haha I can't wait to till Frank "WBO" Warren puts a show on in the new Liverpool Arena with Derry Matthews and Khan etc later this year.
Might bum in to Tam as no doubt he would go down.

You won't get to tour the original Kronk- it's closed down.
I've met Tommy Hearns and his son Ronald. I kinda met Floyd Mayweather Jr at the Detroit leg of his press conference with Oscar de La Hoya, May Jo Sanders (incredibly quiet, but it was just before her last fight), Emmanuel Stewart and a local junior welterweight whose name is escaping me just now.

Re: whose the most famous boxer you have met ???
I have the best.....Oliver McCall, he worked out at the gym I go to...I was worried the trainers were going to try to make me spar with him (I being one of the few heavyweights at the gym). He was a really down to Earth guy, nice guy.
-
Re: whose the most famous boxer you have met ???
I met Marvin Hagler in Italy , he was a top guy.
-
Re: whose the most famous boxer you have met ???
I met Terry Norris in an In-N-Out (burger chain fast food). I saw him making line and I just thought he looked alike. I got closer and saw a tattoo on his neck with two boxing gloves and when we made eye contact I just stretched my hand for a handshake and told him "Mr. Norris, nice to meet you" and he got a big smile. We started talking about this and that. He told me he was getting into producing music (rap, hip hop, etc.). Then the topic changed to boxing and we were laughing about his fight against Santana and how he took a dive twice. Then he took his order and left. Wish I had my camera with me.
My parents met Mike Tyson in Atlanta airport. He was just laying down using his jacket as a pillow. When he woke up my parents approached him and told him that I was a big fan of his fights and asked for an autograph. My parents were surpirsed to see that he was not THAT TALL.

Re: whose the most famous boxer you have met ???
Depends on what you mean by "famous".
In Oz, I have met Sam Soliman (watched a few fights with him), Lovemore N'Dou, Paul Briggs, Bob Miravick, Kostya Tsyu and most of the national fighters at one point or another, to name a few.
From the states, (in passing) Muhammad Ali, and a few of the rest that have appeared in Oz in the last ten years.
