Under card Nice looking Jr. Light prospect Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios 15-0 (9) Vs. Alvin Brown 26-10 (12).Keep an eye on Rios.Dont blink on this one.
The size and Range on Rios is great.Nice variety of head to body shots.Brown swaying in the wind and taking big body digs.Nice straight puncher as well.Nice upper cuts
So much for Brown....Check please.Good body assault takes it ALL out of Brown,KD early 2nd ,nice one-two,Waived off with Brown on knees.Facially kind of looks like a young Skipper Kelp (?).Nice work but hope to see more down the road
Next up is free swinging Leo Martinez putting a pasting on too tall Miquel Figuerora.Martinez does not look to have a second gear and owns the first round pretty much catching Fig, As he please's.Fig looks to be in slow motion and throws wide arking punches.Coming forward in the and,Martinez pot shotting and taking a couple himself.Is Martinez related to L.Andrade because he has his chimpish face ;D.Turning into a nice little walk out fight.
Early 4th with Fig on ropes and Martinez lands a chopping Right hand to head that makes Fig stumble & Cover up.Real busted up and ref waives it off.The same Martinez that hummbled Eric Aiken a couple of years back,Join the club Lol.If they did run out of Bouts They could always put those Gorgeous Round card Ladies up in a competition :o.wow.

I have Huerta by 2 rounds.roughly. Phantom KD will be padding for Huerta. WOW,Jauregui takes a unanimous descision.I did not see that,And thats with the KD that was actually not a KD. Huerta needed to apply pressure and fell into Jau Pace,Picked it up last rounds but was not enough.

I'm a bit surprised at this result to be honest. I thought Huerta would win by decision. I guess 'Chatito' was just better. I didn't see the fight, I went out last night so missed the fights. I read that prospect Brandon Rios continued to look impressive.

Thanks Mick.Agree on the surprise,I was pretty high on Huerta as a possible spoiler as off late :-Xbut He was grinding gears here trying to find the right one against Jauregui.I had really slept on Jauregui being so deseptive with his style and VERY cagey.He looked like a guy waiting for a bus.....Ho-hum........and then had nice tight burst's suddenly. I had Hureta winning it,Barley but good for Jauregui.Quote:

Jauregui's a smart fighter but I'm a bit surprised to hear this, thought he was pretty much past it. Huerta's a funny guy, he can look real good at times, then other times, like for example the Santa Cruz fight, not so much.
I like Jauregui he kind of looks like they just picked him out of the crowd as a last secong replacement, but he is very craft. He made Huerta be the attacker and was just countering him all night. I too thought it was close but Javier did land the harder cleaner shots IMO. I agree Spicoli, he kind of lulls you to sleep then comes on strong towards the end of the round.
