Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight Him A
Here's the video...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ql35QMZLgpI
Marquez is willing to chase Pacquiao at 135, even at 140 for the trilogy.
I'd say sure! Why not?
What do you think guys.

Re: Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight H
Hi Pacstraightleft , surly Marquez going keep a brawl with Pacquiao man , in 135 Pac should feel more strong , so i will determine that if Marquez move up to 135 maybe he will not get a satisfied victory either......;) THANKS FRIEND......

Re: Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight H
Marquez has already beaten him twice, why do it again ;)

Re: Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight H
Like Marquez said right after the fight, he lost nothing to pacquio. I would like to see Marquez-Guzman. That would be an interesting fight and if Pac goes up like he plans, they will be the best 2 fighters in the division.

Totally agree just a damn shame Marquez got floored in the rematch that made it closer than it should of been, but he clearly won both fights IMO.

The video seem to stopped working with my PC. It was working just fine half hour ago. :-\ Sorry guys.

Re: Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight H
I can't wait to see their third fight. Fighting at 135 should make this more interesting.
The first two fights were just so controversial that they should have a rematch again.
Here's my scorecard.
round:
1 Pacquaio (could go either way)
2 marquez
3 Pacquaio (10-
4 Pacquaio
5 Marquez
6 marquez
7 Marquez
8 Marquez
9 Pacquaio
10 Pacquaio
11 Pacquaio
12 Marquez
114-113 For Pacquiao or for Marquez.
This definitely calls for a rematch.

Re: Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight H
Give credit to Marquez for this one, I think it's a very reasonable offer. If the offer of 6 million dollars by the GBP to pac is true, I think pac will take it. If there is any weakness of pac, that's money and on this point, I'm proud to say I've never been wrong so far. But I'm not sure if his handlers will allow that. I thing pac should take it to settle the score once and for all. I'll promise to gladly give Marquez my P4P vote (excuse me, pbf fans) if he wins. Put it on record, that's a promise. I'm a reasonable guy.

Re: Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight H
Pac should take the fight at 135. He looks naturally bigger and an extra 5 pounds would only improve his chances of a win IMO.
-
Re: Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight H
PACQUIAO: WE CAN FIGHT AGAIN!
Manny wants to fight Marquez at 135 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Outside of the knockdown Pac was just not aggressive enough (his usual self). The reason being is that JMM was really tagging him with the straight right all night long even more than in their 1st fight. Seems the judges just saw the knockdown and blood flowing. JMM maneuvered better then in their 1st bout only he loses this time as if it were payback for the 10-7 ruling in their 1st fight. kinda like ass backwards rulings in the MAB - EM wars.
I just do not think Pac did enough last night to take away a mans belt. It should have been a tie!

Truth is the Marquez brothers seem to be too soft spoken and that makes them hard to market. They aren't characters they just fight.

JMM would be much older and softer around the midsection to beat Pac there. It would be a good payday and nothing more. It was the right time to fight Pac as JMM mentioned many times. I am afraid his time passed. I saddens me to see that he did not get a draw or win. JMM peppered Pac's face like no one ever has and loses !! A big shame, even the large Pac audience was not all that boisterous at the telling of the decision.
-
Re: Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight H
addicted I don't think jmm's time passed at all, I think he was as good as ever last night! I think he just has the style to give pac problems anytime they fight, even at 135, because jmm doesn't rely on his strength, but his smarts, and he can carry those to any weightclass with him. As you I was also saddened that jmm didn't get the decision because he deserved it, a tie would have been acceptable I guess, but I just can't agree with a pac victory, and I like both fighters so I'm not really biased one way or the other.

What is there to brag about when JMM will be a little older and asked to move up in weight? JMM can not bang with Pac at 130, how would be fair at 135. It is obvious Pac is now at the 135 norm. All factors that favor Pac but it is ok with you, as long as your boy wins. Tisk, tisk tisk ..... Then you wonder why some people dislike Pac's followers. Clarifying things does not mean making adjustments to favor Pac ,.. like weight and age ......

Pacquiao is just doing Marquez a favor by giving him a chance to get even. In that case, he needs to defeat Pac twice. :p

Why does he have to beat Pac twice to be even? According to me its a draw and then a oac win. If JMM beat him once it'd be even.

Burt Clemens had a brain fart with his math that's why they had a draw.
Pac defeated JMM twice IMO. Take it or leave it, I don't care coz Pac is the new world champ now.

Marquez needs beat Pac twice and knock him down 4 times to get even. :p

Re: Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight H
It was a great fight marred by a bad decision IMO. There needs to be a 3rd fight as both fights were controversial in scoring. I will give credit to Pacquiao if he gives Marquez a rematch even at 135. If Manny thinks this business is finished he is seriously deluding himself. The only reason for not fighting Marquez again is because Pacquiao doesn't want to get beat again... as scores aside in my eyes it's 2-0 to Marquez!

I agree armin about the stlye. But JMM has had to adjust to raw Pac, 2-handed Pac and now Pac will be just too strong . Asking JMM for another fistic puzzle solver is a bit of a stretch ...

a 3rd fight would only be for a prayer of the impossible ! A KO of Pac and it is not going to happen by a light hitting JMM at 130......... at 135 (no mamas guey) ?

You have just contradicted yourself again. I really don't know if you know some boxing...;D
In some threads, you claimed that Pacquaio will be fighting an aged Marquez and that Marquez has no chance of winning in this fight. Now you're agreeing to Big H......You even disrespected Marquez just to prove your point that Pacquaio will easily win over Marquez. Whew!!!! I just knew then that you don't know what you're saying... much more what you are agreeing.;D
You're an eyesore in this forum, addicted.Let me wear my sunglasses:cool:

Totally agree just a damn shame Marquez got floored in the rematch that made it closer than it should of been, but he clearly won both fights IMO.
Marquez has won twice and even after faking a couple of victories Pac is hoping to slink away and try and let this one fall away and be forgotton.
Marquez deserves his rematch.

The Pac camp is trying to quietly walk away and act as though it hasall been resolved but no way. To many unofficial scorecards going against Pac or else offering little either way. A close fight but Marquez does seem to be the concensus winner on cards going about on forums and such like. There is a demand for the rematch because the public knows what it saw and it wants certainty and conclususion. Diaz?? Marquez is the fight that people would like. Sadly its a fight we may well not get.

Re: Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight H
I feel for the guy, but you've had two chances and for whatever reason you lost both, time for both guys to just move on. If it were 1-1 then maybe but....

Re: Juan Manuel Marquez: "i Can Go To 135, 140, I Don't Care...i Just Want To Fight H
Judging by what all the Marquez' supporters here are saying, I've got a nasty feeling that the rematch will not happen, as it was first offered by the Marquez' camp themselves. I think they offered the 6 million just in the spur of the moment, but after careful consideration, they'd probably feel that the rematch will not worth the risk. They'll probably cancel the offer or lower the amount offered to discourage pac from taking the rematch. I can be wrong on this one and I hope so. Just let the 6 million dollar offer stick and I can assure you there will be a rematch.

Did you watch the TV patrol news yesterday bro?
Pac said he would fight Marquez for FREE, anytime... anywhere... even without their boxing gloves. ;D
That would be suck for Marquez and supporters if Pac beats him for the third time. I'd say let Marquez chase Pacquiao at lightweight.

Pac doesnt need to fight him again . It would be like admitting theres unfinsihed business . He only needs to rematch if he lost but he didnt . Its like Lewis didnt need to rematch Vitali cuz he won .
At 135 Pacs gotta be favourite . Marquez looked like a fading fighter . It wasnt a great display from Pac either but I put that down to a bad performance which he can comeback and improve from.

Now you're talking sense. I've always appreciated you as a full-blooded fan who always stick with your man, thick and thin. Pac will do a little better at 135. He just dehydrated himself too much at 130. Just look at his pics at the weigh-in - he looked almost like Erik, gaunt and cheekless.
