Opinions on Cintron- Margarito
I've got a feeling that Cintron will blast out Margarito. Just wondering what everyone elses opinion is on this fight ? Thanks

Re: Opinions on Cintron- Margarito
I'm taking Cintron on this too. The table's have turned completely as Cintron is now the champ and a confident fighter is always a dangerous one.
Cintron KO/TKO ;D

Re: Opinions on Cintron- Margarito
If is like Cintron been saying , i hope make a great fight not necessary by KO , but an battle that will show convincingly that he is the best , adding some Kdown for sure........;)

Re: Opinions on Cintron- Margarito
I've said on a number of occasions that since their first fight Cintron has achieved more and made more progress.
I don't necessarily feel this means he will beat Margarito, but I do feel he will be better prepared mentally and physically to handle the rugged Margarito.
Margarito is a fighter who's style allows him to grind down opponents. Cintron being a strong fighter may have enough to handle him but it's very close and I'm not going to risk calling it.

Re: Opinions on Cintron- Margarito
Well I've posted elsewhere I am going with Cintron.Although I think if a K.O. occurs it will be for Cintron early within 4 rounds not late in the fight. I feel this will be a fight of the year candidate.I think all questions were answered for Margarito when he fought Williams. He is a very strong, iron jawed and has great stamina, but just doesn't have good boxing skills and is not very quick. At this point I believe Cintron is the all around better fighter boxing ability, speed, power.

Re: Opinions on Cintron- Margarito
I think Cintron is a weak fighter mentally, he should have dealt with Feliciano much better than he was able to, Margarito will break his will again when Cintron realizes he isn't going to KO him early. Would be shocked to see it go much differently, I think it will play out just like their first fight only with Cintron doing a little better to pace himself and get into the late rounds. It would be very impressive if Cintron were able to stay strong and outbox Tony, physically he has the tools to win easily but he needs to show more confidence and I don't see it happening since Margo made him cry and quit before the halfway mark last time.

Cintron KO/TKO ;D
I don't see what Cintron has to be confident about, he struggled badly against a journeyman fighter like Feliciano and showed he has no plan B, all he had to do was take a step back against Feliciano then counter when Feliciano was coming in, but he fought Feliciano's fight and couldn't adapt. Plus his weak mentality showed again in the Feliciano fight. If Felciano had power he would of beaten Cintron, Margarito has the mental advantage over Cintron making him quit, i really don't see what Cintron can do to beat Margarito ?? Cintron couldn't dent Margarito at all with his power. And as soon as Margarito started to put real effective pressure on Cintron, Cintron started to give up and lose concentration. It will be a repeat of there 1st meeting except it lasts a little bit longer, Margarito by TKO in 7.

Re: Opinions on Cintron- Margarito
Cintron's just not there mentally, contrast that with a guy who seems about self assured as anybody and that's the difference in this fight.

Re: Opinions on Cintron- Margarito
I think Margarito absolutely destroys Cintron once again.
I'm guessing around the 5th round Cintron will be decked, try to stand and fall across the ring prompting the referee to stop the fight and Emmanuel Stewerd to throw in his towel and storm out of the arena in disgust.
-
Re: Opinions on Cintron- Margarito
I think it will depend on how much of a calming influence Emmanuel Steward is for Cintron in this magnitude of a fight and how receptive Cintron is to it

When you say receptive you mean "RECEPTIVE" :bananasex:
Or what kind of receptive do you mean? ;D

Cintron gets KO'd exactly like you said. He has looked like garbage recently and Margarito is VERY focused on getting his belt back and knows he's gotta get thru Cintron to do it.

Darn I have to make a pick in this fight and I am not sure which way to go. I want to see both of these men win but some one has to lose. I only want to see both of them win because I later wanted to see Cotto destroy them both ;D

Re: Opinions on Cintron- Margarito
I'm gonna go against the grain here
Cintron sparks Margarito in impressive fashion, brutal knockout inside 6
this is good match-up here. Cintron has that chip on his shoulder, I believe that he is coming in correct this time out .. put them ghosts to bed... will be interesting to see .
Getting in tough, that is the foundation this sport was built on. I'm liking the recent trend ! 2 warriors going at it .. how can you beat that as a fan ? :-)

My thoughts exactly. There are some great sentiments on here. It also makes sense that both of them would come out like they want it (ala Golden Johnson), because both of them do. The difference lies in when Cintron starts landing, and Marga begins to smile--in amusement. The difference lies in when Margarito begins landing as freely as Feliciano did, but his punches hurt. The difference is, and will always be, heart.
:boxing: Margarito by TKO 4-5
Super CC for the picture
