Katsidis might be to small
Graham Earl nearly knocked Katsidis out.
Hatton would smash him to bits in 3 rounds. Max.
mmm i do think hatton would win but i doubt he would smash him,katsidis is a far better fighter than he was against earl as we all saw on saturday night

I wouldn't get to carried away. While it would be a good fight I think Hatton would run over Katsidis because that's the type of opponent Hatton wants, someone like Katsidis.
Katsidis is a pressure fighter but he's open and he's not going to overwhelm Hatton with pressure. Hatton is much faster and much more powerful and would make Katsidis' night hell.
I'm not down on Katsidis but really, Hatton is no slouch and as you saw versus Castillo, if he gets someone in there who wants to fight then Hatton can more then deliver. Katsidis isn't the revenge Australia is looking for, maybe Mundine - Hatton is a better topic ;D
It would certainly make for a great fight whilst it lasted.
I havn't seen Ricky in an entertaining fight since Tszyu, ah actually he did look great against Castillo but generally he's looked like he's on the wane.
Even Hatton's style wouldn't be able to spoil the action in a fight with Katsidis, I think it would actually be a very exciting fight and a win for Hatton boost his status in the US a great deal.
Certainly better than fighting the likes of Juan Lazcano
Khan would KO Katsidis inside 3 let alone Hatton.
Lets be honest, Katsidis form was crap. He had looked CLEARLY beatable on a number of occassions and got exploited fighting like a div against a veteran (coming off a pathetic loss).
Hatton-Katsidis = mismatch.

Has the makings of a great fight imo.

It would be a battle of wills but Hatton thrives on and is a master of opponents he is naturally bigger then.
Hatton has more experience and is bigger. He has won title at 147, whereas Katsidis easily makes 135. I'd lover Kats to win but Hatton would TKO Michael.
Hatton would box Katsidis.
Late stoppage would be conceivable but more likely would be a UD.
This is Ricky all day...IMO it goes 6rds then it is called off...Mike give's a good showing though...A bit too small, a bit too much Hatton
Im not a Hatton fan at all but i find people are underestimating Hatton way too much now. Remember this was the same Hatton that took Tszyu's best right hand shots, now i know some people may argue Tszyu was past his best but remember the last thing to go is your punch so i still give Hatton credit for taking the best that Tszyu had to offer, and lets not forget Tszyu is one of the hardest hitting Jr Welterweights of all time. I like Katsidis but lets be real here Katsidis is very beatable as that showed against Czar, Earl. Also Katsidis would be too small for Hatton at 140 IMO. And lets not forget Hatton is very strong at 140, i just think people need to remember how strong Hatton is at 140. Lets be honest folks before Hatton vs Mayweather who would of gave Katsidis a chance really and truthfully ?? just because Hatton lost to the best P4P fighter in the world at the moment, doesn't mean he can't take someone as limited as Katsidis.
