Just wondering if the weight loss and Floyds power could make an even bigger statement this time. If Floyd KO'ed him, even at this stage of Oscar's career I'd be impressed.

hell no !!!
I don't want underestimate Floyd , but i don't think that he have enough power in that Div. for KO to Oscar , Oscar is more strong in that Div. than Floyd.....Although Floyd don't going Risk to go toe to toe with Oscar either.......

He can get Oscar's attention with counter rights but I'd be pretty shocked, even if Oscar's past his prime he's not that past his prime.
I wish they would go to war but I don't see either fighter knocking the other out. It will be just like the last time Stalemate
Floyd has yet to KO a legit welterweight. I don't think he can actually.
He aint gonna KO DLH, Oscar has a great chin.
Is probably that Floyd will be KO by ODLH , that is if they don't play their game ......;D

Of course he could. However, he won't because that requires taking the risk of getting hit himself. PBF is content to not get hit and score a few more punches than the other guy to win on points.
PBF ko'd Hatton cause Hatton wouldn't leave him alone. PBF just wants to dance around the ring and if you leave him alone that's what he'll do. If you won't leave him alone he'll have to hit you.
Coming off of his ko of Big Show, maybe he will be confident enough to trade with ODH.
Neither can KO the other.
Look at how many times Shane Mosley hit Oscar flush on the jaw and to the body.Did Oscar budge? No. Floyd has half the power Shane does in my opinion.Maybe faster but definetly does not hit harder.
ODLH has one of the best chins in modern day boxing history, no way does Mayweather stop ODLH. ODLH has been in there with big punchers like Mosley, Vargas, etc. And they never even come close to stopping him despite hitting ODLH with everything they had. Mayweather did stun ODLH a few times but he was never in any serious trouble, if Mayweather did stop ODLH it would have to be a body shot that catches him totally by surprise and paralyzes him, aka a liver shot which could happen but i doubt it very much.
If It happened It will not be a Physical KO.
Mayweather has enough power to stop Oscar from throwing jabs by countering with hard straight rights, but that ain't going to KO Oscar. He has enough power to get Oscar's respect. But he doesn't have enough power to stop him, even if he takes more risks. He may open up more to try to win the fight more convincingly this time, but he won't KO him.
You really think that this fight going be at 147pnd. ? I dont think soooo...:-\

If he's drawn into the tenth - eleventh round after a demanding fight, I think Oscar could be relatively easy to stop.
I can't see it. Floyd would have to risk being knocked out himself in order to do the same to Oscar.
I see a UD for Floyd.
Yeah Floyd knocked Ricky out cuz it was an exhausted smaller fighter rushing onto his punches . Its not as if Floyd set out to knock him out.
Oscar isnt in that league and it wont happen to him . He wont put himself in the situation of charging forward wrecklessly and even if he did , his chin isnt as poor as Rickys
Furthermore if Floyd is to stop Oscar he is going to have to set about him in that manner . Floyd never puts himself in any danger. He will not risk getting caught by Oscar .
It will be another safety first points win for PBF .
 EXACTLY.......

3 pounds will make an even bigger difference.
Forbes isn't my favourite fighter, I haven't followed him for years or anything, but I think I'll be right in guessing he's never been 150
Me too Donny.......Forbes moved up too many , he will feel too heavy in that weight.......

I would say it's possible. Oscar will be drained. He has it tough wasting himself away to get to 154 and it's his hubris telling him he can get down to 150 and 147. Shane Mosley may or may not hit harder than Mayweather, but Mayweather is definitely more accurate and I would say faster. Mayweather also is better at breaking down an opponent. Also remember, it doesn't have to come from a chin check. You can KO someone with a bodyshot. Like Floyd did to Sharmba Mitchell and like Bernard Hopkins did to De La Hoya. At the lower weight look for that area to be a bigger target for Mayweather because he's going to test him.
This will be another situation like with Hatton where it's not a matter of IF Floyd can beat him, but how quickly can do it.
Thats for sure Macho!
He's doing ok at 140, but 150 is a completely different story.
He's doing this for the money and after the misfortunes he's had in his career I can't blame him.
Guys , relax! He was just kidding when he made this thread.
How you doing Bx730NY? Well you know that in boxing everything will happen right?;D;D

I think most people are looking at this as 'does Floyd have the 1 punch K.O power of Mosely? If Mosely couldn't stop Oscar then Floyd can't' which I think is bullshit.
K.O's are not necessarily about power on it's own..Floyd may or may not have the power of Mosely but a lot of Floyds K.O's have come from fighters not seeing the punch and he has enough speed and snap in his punches for it to have an effect if somebody is not ready to take the shot. Floyd buckled Oscar's knee's in the first fight with a counter right when Oscar came rushing in so it's like Roy Jones once said 'Speed is power'.
So if Floyd catches him unaware he can get him out of there if he follows up on him imo. I'm by no means saying this will be easy or likely but it is a possibility.
Anything is possible. Hatton could take his best shot 9 times out of ten but he took a shot he never saw coming and it landed perfectly.
This is nowhere the same as the Hatton fight. Hattonn had no skill level to offer but his chin and body as a target. The ODLH fight was competitive and had ODLH not left his jab at home he would have won the bout. Speed equates to power and actually ODLH should be able to get his jab and famous left hook off easier. Oscar has had little success carrying his weight to 154 and most of his knockout were at lower weights. ODLH has a better chance at this weight and now has actual PBF ring speed experience as well as Mayweather senior to jump on his ass. Pacquiao coat tail riding Roach is too passive to ignite his fighters fire. As displayed in the 1st PBF vs ODLH & the two Pac vs JMM fights in the later rounds ... then factor in the publicity and footage of PBF's dirty antics vs Hatton and I like Oscars chances with the weight and the refs / judges.... All this PBF speed talk also applies to ODLH as he will also be faster at the lower weight .....
Hi i reckon that Oscar will beat Mayweather this time around. He'll want prove that he was the victor on their first outing and he'll be determined to show that. After all he did bring the fight to Mayweather as Mayweather did'nt seem to want to throw the fist punch.Oscar will hurt him this time i think!;)
