Thanks for the vid. Maybe we can get the rubber match once Pacquiao is done with Diaz.
-
Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.

Very much agreed. JMM is right. People want to see a third fight.
I heard he is willing to chase Pac at lightweight too. That'd be interesting.

lol!
I can't believe Manny wasn't prepare for something like that. He knew JMM was going to be there. The boxing ring was just couple of feet away from them, Manny should've said "C'mon, right now... let's do it!" ;D
I guess he's too humble to say something that.

It'll be interesting to see what Marquez does in the interim, I hope he takes a fight while Pacquiao takes on Diaz. It would be great if he could rematch John(but I doubt John would take it) maybe Barrios if he gets by Juarez. Guzman or Valero would be awesome!!! Hell if he's planning to chase Pacquiao to 135 why not someone like Raheem? 135 is pretty stacked at the moment so there are plenty of potential opponents. I really hope JMM just doesn't sit idle waiting for Pacman.

JMM should fight Guzman or VAlero while waiting for PAcquaio.

Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.
I can tell pac was getting piss off, he was looking for a way to keep cool and laugh it off. Jmm totally caught pac off gaurd, how rude in jmms part as a guess he should be more polite and say that their fight was great congrats to pac but lets have another go at it. Instead he still insist he won, atleast jmm promotion skills are getting a bit more out there.
I really hope they have a third match.

Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.
I wouldn't fancy JMM's chances against Pacquiao in a 3rd meeting purely because not only will Lightweight suit Pacquiao better than Marquez IMO. Also Marquez is getting to an age where you start losing some of your best attributes.

Plus he just went 12 rounds with pac again, thats sure to have taken toll on him. His petty much just relying on a pac third match win or lose he cashes out. Like how eric sat idle waiting for the third with pac without a tune up fight.

I don't he will be 35 if a 3rd fight happened, and its not only that its the toll its takes out of your body being in two brutal wars with Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao does physically destroy men in the ring, and even though i believe Marquez won both fights he still received a lot of punishment in both fights.

You have a point there ICB but watching Marquez in the interview he just did in the Philippines and calling on Pacquaio is something for me. I'd like him to have a chance of being remembered as someone who won over Pacquaio (though I don't really want that to happen coz first and foremost I am a Pacquaio fan).
I'm torn between my favorite fighters. I love the style of Marquez but I love my country man more(?).
-
Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.
ICB has a point in that time may be a factor in a rematch. The longer the wait then the better for Pac really. JMM deserves a rematch though. It would be a great fight. Needs to happen within the year or else its looking like a lot to ask of Marquez. An immediate rematch will see him with a serious shot of winning.
Marquez won this one by a couple of rounds IMO. Pac should be a gentleman and force the fight to go ahead despite the screwhead promoters and boxing politics nonsense. Thats if he really wants it though. He was being very diplomatical in that interview. Marquez wants it no matter what. Pac was muttering about negotiations and promoters.
Its a fight boxing fans deserve to see and this fight didnt do too badly at the box office after all.

Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.
Pacquiao actually said "Im lucky on that night, that I win(won)" That and his expression after the rematch, before the scores were announced, suggests to me Pac very much knows he was beat in that fight, even after reviewing.

Pac was lucky in the second fight coz the judges didn't fucked up that night. I think that was Pac was trying to say.
Unlike the first fight with the admitted mistake occurance with Clemens' scorecard.

Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.
I wish we can see a third fight hoping that this time we can have a clear winner. I am still with Marquez...

he was just being generous to his rude guess. he realize he couldn't luaght jmm off so he threw him a bone so he can go run along. thats how humble pac is. IMO if diane wasnt there with those damn cameras, it would of been a street fight.

lol! Agreed.
I saw JMM in more than a couple of Philippine tv shows. He just keep repeating himself over and over again with the "I want another rematch". He beg too much. He sounds so desperate. GBP just invited him to watch the fights, not to disrespect someone in his homeland.

Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.
Haha, Marquez just Margarito'd Pac. I was expecting Pac when he had a hold of Marquez' arm to say "let's build this up the bigger" ;D
Good on to JMM, "People all around the world think I won", maybe it was the English not being good but Pac certainly didn't sound like he thought he won. And no reason to, Marquez clearly won the fight and I really doubt that Marquez gets old overnight if they fight again in October or November, I'm not buying that. Also don't think weight is to big of an issue, if anything that suits the older fighter.
Very good video, what a spectacle. Definitely want to see it a second time but I don't think it happens again.

Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.
Juanita so rude!, coming over here begging for a fu**ng rematch, I dont think there's gonna be soon:eek:. Filipino's are very hospitable and treats guest well. This guy is really intelligent preparing for his retirement that's why his fishing for good fights with good pay. That's why he keeps on begging. He'll just have to follow Pacman. He's a good fighter but If there's a 3rd one I dont see the difference. In there previous fight it could have gone eitherway. YES, but he's been knocked down and he should accept the fact that he doesnt have the power to bring Pacman to his feet.
Also like Morales, he'll be making a commercial for San Miguel Beer w/ Pacman. See money again for Juanita.:o

I don't know about "Marquez clearly won the fight". Pac was the aggreesive, Pac was the one who's been connecting the quality punches. JMM can talk the talk, but can't walk the walk. I'd say let their gloves do talkin' again. He just can't stop kissing the canvas against Pac.
And yes, the weight is a big issue. JMM left his chin and power at 126, let his record speak for itself. How the heck do you expect him to do at lightweight?
-
Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.
I think Edwin Valero should visit the Philippines too.

Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.
jmm is disrespectful! he was treated well here in PI he was even applauded. but instead of being humble he begged and begged and begged even more for a rematch!
i mean if he is really that great against pac then he should be the one who scored a KD or atleast beat pac convincingly. he talks as if he annihilated pac! what a disrespectful fool!
-
Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.
Its awesme to see guys challengeeach other to their face instead of running their mouths in interviews. I like that... and JMM definatly deserves a rematch, it can be argued he should have 2 wins over Pacman right now (I feel tis way personaly)

Thats not true. He was very respectful, there was no trash talking. You can't blame the guy for challenging Pac on his turf in front of his people, it makes people want to see the rematch even more.
-
Re: JMM Challenges Pacquiao In The Philippines! (VIDEO) Good Stuff.
Disrespectful or not If you were in a great fight in which you thought there was no way you lost, wouldn't you be chasing that person around to get another match? I know I sure as hell would and have done it and it was an amatuer fight.I believe everything Marquez said there are people around the world who think Marquez won and I am one of them.I've met many people who were Pacquiao fans and they even said Marquez won.As for the age thing for people who think Marquez is too old remember Pacquiao was in the fight as well who knows if he can be the same. From what I've seen Pacquiao has started his downward slope after the Morales trilogy and Marquez has stayed consistant. They have to cap this off with a third. For the love of god man.

Oh! So you're saying Chris John convincingly defeated JMM then lmfao!.. What a crock! Obviously, Marquez knows he lost and now he feels like he didn't get enough pay check. He's even willing to whore himself out by climbing up to lightweight and fight Pac there,.. that's how desperate JMM is.

End of! ;)

Cool GIFs but Pac fans always seem to ignore the fact that knockdowns alone don't win you a fight...

You might wanna address that comment to the ring officials who saw the fight in 3 different angles.

Well, considering that we all heap the highest praise on Floyd who hasn't knocked down an opponent in a very long time (with the exception of his last fight), these KDs should all be treated as manna from heaven.

but KDs could make you lose a fight... take away PAC's KDs on JMM and i'm sure JMM gets the nods on those 2 fights...
if only JMM can avoid a PAC knockdown punch, he has greater chances of winning the fight...
