Lewis vs. Oliver McCall 1
Lewis vs Hasim Raham 1
I would put those in the list just because I wanted Lewis to loose convincingly:).
Lennox Lewis against Razor Ruddock, Andrew Golota, Shannon Briggs, Tommy Morrison, Michael Grant.
Others that were very good are against Gary Mason, Tyrell Biggs, Tony Tucker, Frank Bruno, Phil Jackson, Ray Mercer, Rahman 2, David Tua, Frans Botha.
Of course his win over Vitali Klitschko wasn't his best performance but it was the last stand of a Legend as he was 38 and his heaviest ever but still was too good for the prime Klitschko.
Lennox Lewis vs Frank Bruno was insain. back an forth action with both fighters getting hurt.
It was pretty much the fight before lennox adopted a safty first style.
Also his fight with shannon briggs was also very good.
my favourite lewis bouts would be :
gary mason, tyrell biggs, derek williams, razor ruddock, frank bruno, tommy morrison, andrew golota, shannon briggs (a fantastic 5 round fight that sometimes gets forgotten), michael grant, david tua (boxing masterclass), hasim rahman II
Lennox Lewis vs Ray Mercer = His most exciting fight.
Lennox Lewis vs Razor Ruddock = One of his most impressive victories short but sweet.
Lennox Lewis vs Tommy Morrison
Lennox Lewis vs Shannon Briggs
Lennox Lewis vs Frank Bruno
These are his most exciting fights.

Grant
Mason
Briggs
you gotta put in Mavrovic.Gave him a very tough test and damn could that guy take a punch in that fight.

I am surprised Tua was not mentioned more, people wanted him to he the new Mike Tyson and rule the heavyweight division, he was the next big thing and Lennox shut him down, I thought that was Lewis best victory

vs. Ray Mercer = His most gruelling & exciting fight.
vs. Frans Botha = most tremendous KO (lifted him off the ground)
vs. Golata = quickest blowout
vs. Michael Grant = funniest fight
(you can see all three of these in about 10 minutes)
vs Shannon Briggs = where he shows his true pedigree. They thought this fight would be close...
vs. Vitali Klitschko = biggest comeback from adversity (watch closely; it's sloppy, but compelling)

Because the fight was pants Tua kept plodding along looking for one left hook in fact i thought he was rubbish in that fight, and Lewis just pecked away at him with left jabs and the occasional right hand the fight was a snoozefest.Quote:

There was nothing wrong with Lewis in the McCall fight he was in good condition and won the first round comfortably, he lost because he wasn't as cautious before he joined Stewart and he was reckless back then thats why he lost not because he was in bad shape or etc.Quote:

I think his best was the Ruddock fight. Amazing result and in london. The Razor was pretty dangerous back then and Lewis destroyed him!

He did not take McCall seriously...he thought it would be a walk through...got lazy and got caught...as much as I love Lennox...I will be the first to admit arrogance has bit him in the ass on several occassions...that was one of them...Regardless of the Manny part and him not knowing how to control himself in the ring he was not at his best that night...he payed for taking the bout less seriously...Being focused is part of training...the sport is mental and physical...Quote:

Well Lennox is one of the best i have ever seen but like he just said Lennox for all his greatness would over look people and caused him loses
Lewis is the greatest heavyweight ever when you consider he beat every guy he ever fought.
My favourite Lewis fights
Lewis vs Rudduck - This is what made Lewis. Rudduck was a dangerman but was blown away . Lewis hardly broke sweat against a man who had took a young Tyson 12 rounds
Lewis vs Bruno - Not one of Lennox' best performances but I like it cuz of the bad blood clearly was visible throughout the fight and the finish is still one of the most brutal Ive seen .
Lewis vs Rahman 2 - Going to America, vs the undisputed American champ, with American judges, Lewis getting older , coming off a loss , with all that against him he dominated for 3 rounds then won by an amazing K.O in the 4th. Fantastic
Lewis vs Tyson - After so many years of hype Lewis was simply too good and dominated easily. Great K.O. Lewis made the statement
Lewis vs Briggs- Lewis was pretty confident after his 1 round win over Golota and tried the same with Briggs . Shannon was a young powerful Yank but Lewis extra class and power was too much and the action was great .
