The Kings Of Welterweights!!

FLOYD MAYWEATHER, MIGUEL COTTO, ANTONIO MARGERITO...
I think i could of put a few more names on the list but in my eyes these three stand out...
FLOYD MAYWEATHER,
Well what can we say.. The ultra skillful male and a great insight in which is happening around him, its almost like he is watching in at home on slow.. He has such speed and power in his punches.. Also such a good overview on how a fight is going, always knows what he is going to do next, and what is coming next..
This man is truly awesome, one of the best welterweights of all time!!
Weakness, this man does not have one..
MIGUEL COTTO,
This man has a very strong crab like defence, he hits with good powerfull clean shots and has also shown he has a good jab at times..
He has grown into a massive welterweight, quite the finished article..
I would say the only thing that lets him down, is if anyone can put enough pressure on him they may out work him because he does like to rest during his fights.. But nobody has backed him up against the wall and gave him trouble..
ANTONIO MARGERITO,
Well he is proberly one of the durable men you have ever seen in the ring it would be a nightmare to fight him.. He has super endurance and a awesome chin which he showed the other night against Kermit Cintron..
I would love to see alot more of this fighter cant believe he hasnt been real high profile..
Weakness, i cant really see one at the moment and its going to take someone special to fing them!!

If Mayweather would fight a true Welter rather than rematches with De Le Hoya and Hatton then I would put him above Cotto but after Cottos last few performances against Judah and beating my man Mosley (yes it still hurts) I would have to put him as the King of the welterweights at the moment. As much as Margarito looked impressive against Cintron I still think Cotto will beat him but it will be a hell of a fight.

Im completely agree BoxerHarvey........I really share you great opinion and I'm really Cottos Fan , but when he decide to fight with a real competitive WW right now , i will put him too , above Cotto ........;D

Miguel Cotto has beaten the most quality names at Welterweight,

What is it with the true welter shit? He fought ODLH who is now a true 154 fighter. ODLH at 154 is a more difficult fight than anyone at 147.

Right now it's Cotto... Margo can claim it if he'll beat Cotto on July 26...

Dont take away from the fact that ODLH is arguably the best 154 fighter in the world and Floyd beat him. Yet he gets given stick for not having the guts to fight guys his own size at 147? Makes no sense.

Miguel cotto is the true welterweight king

Floyd Mayweather is number 1 he is the man the fact he is P4P#1 says enough i would say it goes Mayweather,Cotto then Margerito.I think if Cotto and Margerito get it on and unifie Floyd will fight the winner to become undisputed champ.

Hey Eagle i agree with you , but that was BEFORE my friend , if we remember the fight that he made with Trinidad of course , he did a damn fight and i can say that he won that fight not Trinidad , but now my friend he has a different style , he cant make the same strategies now , so in this Div. of WW Cotto has the youngest have all the tools for win whoever , if ODLH fight with Cotto , he have the experiences , but have the style that is to favor Cotto........That what i guess.....:cool:

I voted 4 Tony,however I think Floyd would beat him and is the better of the 3.I just think Tony is more established at the weight than either of the other 2,he's been there longer and he's been kicking arse there longer hope that makes sense?! tbh though I would'nt call him the king of Welters! I say Floyd could beat PAC because Floyd is Bigger and stronger than pac @ any weight no problem

My problem as a fan is that he call himself the best WW but clearly he won't figth any of the top WW's. Whe he does it and wins for my part credit will be due but for now NOT!!
