Flashiest ring walks only to get humiliated!
Hi guys,
I'm talking about fighters who gave the most over the top ring walks only to get toasted and humiliated during the fight.
Here's some off hand.
Anthony Hembrick VS Booker T Ward (Hembrick's ring walk was the stuff of legends...only to get iced in the 1st rd.)
Forrest/Mosley 1( Mosley came in so full of himself that i hoped Forrest kicked his butt.)
Mayorga/Forrest 1(Forrest came in rapping and went out by right hand)
Hamed/Barrera( I loved it when HAmed got hit with a beer while sitting on that trapeze type seat over head, only to be humiliated and ruined by Barrera)

Word...Nice one.That was classic foot in mouth.Poor Hembrick in front of the 82nd airborne his former unit and with all his family comes in doing the full cadence march and strutting around.Took about 10 minutes it seemed,saying he was going to hit Word when he wanted to & control him when he wanted too.Word looked like a tank and was actually rocked with a left hand very early.Hembrick rushed in and SPLAT.He went down very ugly and the crowc was stunned...Word jumping around like he was a winner on the Price Is right.;D

Spinks did like a 45 minute ring walk with Hip-Hop recording artist Nelly.
Nelly sang like 3 fucken songs off his album and all.
Only to have Spinks get battered by Zab. Not to mention it was in Spinks hometown.
Naz vs. MAB....
Fucken Naz, planned for weeks how he was gonna come out and had a stage designed.

But all that aside thats actually one of my favourite entrances and fights of all time to be honest :P
and everyone has said naz barrera.. But one thing about naz's entrance that night.. He never did the flip.. I believe it was that fight anyway.. That was an omen right there, Im sure there was trouble with the gloves and when it came to flip time he wasnt confident they were gripping so he just stepped in the ring..

Yeh thats right we were up in the top corner the fight was delayed because of the gloves and he didnt flip and got owned best night ever!!!!

Hamed-barrera wont be beaten however hard you try to out do it.
Naz was so sure he`d be barrera and never get beaten he put more effort into his actual entrance than preparing for the fight.

I don't mind spinks too much, you get a fight, a concert (usually better than the fight anyway)...i just wish he took requests, there are so many other free mini-concerts i'd rather see.

Personally I don't mind Spinks at all. Even if it isnt the most entertaining match, it has to be one of the most entertaining entrances. I think he is a very good fighter actually. And people hate him because he isnt crowd pleasing. Given his size and his power it would be near impossible for him to fight that way and win.
And he dances out of respect for a friend whom passed away. So I can't hate his ring entrances. Its actually a kind of class and respect I wish we saw more of in boxing.

yea that horse dance while,cowboy lolipop sucking is so YMCA gay. I didnt know much of Mijares at the time but I put in a lot of hope he'd whoop arce ars. And he really did put a cleanic on arce, I loved it :D

It seems more like that entrance was to feed Cory's ego. Tough to see how that entrance pays much/any tribute to his friend. A patch on his trunks would pay a fine tribute.
He didn't dance his way into the ring the night he lost his title this year.
