Will PACQUIAO wear 8-ounce gloves in his first fight at lightweight against Diaz?
The Nevada Commission just amended its provisionary rule on gloves weight...
"At Thursday's meeting, the (Nevada) commission voted 4-0 [one commissioner was absent] to allow lightweight and welterweight fighters the option of using 8- or 10-ounce gloves..."
I think PAC will use the 8-ounce gloves in his first fight at lightweight division this coming June 28 against WBC Lightweight Champ David Diaz...

I assume he would wear those 8-ouncers. One thing for sure though, they are Mexican made Cleto Reyes. They're Pac's weapon of choice. ;D

One thing about the ruling is BOTH fighters would have to agree to this. I'm sure Pac would want this. Not sure if Diaz would opt for the 10 oz to diminish Pac's power a bit.
