I met Michael Brodie in a shopping centre in Manchester, a few weeks later I met Amir Khan in the same place, both were really nice guys, also saw Ricky Hatton in a night club in Wigan when he was in all of his full blown 175lb glory! He's a fat little fucker :)
I met Toney too in a hotel souvenir shop, he was buying candy bars. No lie.
Let's see 'Panchito' Bojado at Toys R Us, Jorge Paez Sr. at a restaurant.

I saw Jeff Fenech near where i work, i went up to him to say hello and shake his hand and i'm sure he thought i was a cop! I have a friend who has met and has autographs signed in front of him (not bought ) by Ali, Frazier, Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, Gene Tunney, Rocky Graziano, Tony Zale, Tony Galento, SRR, Emile Griffith, Floyd Patterson and Mickey Walker!! He has over 2000 sports autographs all of whom he has met. If anyone knows where Ruben Olivares is, he needs him for his collection!! He will travel to Mexico!

I saw Frank Bruno as I was on my break pull up outside my workplace in his Bentley. Didn't really speak to him, he seemed really shy and timid. As he walked past us he was like 'Hi, you alright?' me and my boy replied 'hey alright' and that was that! :) This was about 2001 I think.
Not as fun as catching James Toney buying a candy bar unfortunately!

My father met Ali on a train with his two bodyguards who were like a foot shorter than him,also Joey Archer the last man to beat Ray Robinson in a bar,Matthew Franklin in a philly christian church before he became a muslim and changed his name to Matthew Saad Muhammed.
Met him in San Diego as well, in an In-N-Out burger place in Pacific Beach. Nice guy! I thought he slurred juuuuuuuuuuuuuust a little bit, not all the time. When I saw him I thought "HHhhhhm kind of looks like Terri Norris" and as I was making line I saw his tattoo of boxing gloves and I think it also said "Champion" or something. So I just tapped his shoulder in a friendly/respectful way:rolleyes: and greeted him "Terrible Terri Norris...how are you doing?" hand shaked and started talking. Talking about meeting boxers...if you are in San Diego, you can meet Sugar Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns at the end of May in a Casino (darn it! Forgot where) where a fight will take place. They'll be there to chat with the fans and stuff.

Walking around Cardiff a year or so ago.
Was queing at some store or restaraunt or something and this black guy just stood out. We were around the same height and I kinda sized myself up behind him.
This assumed my suspiscions, he looked very well built and must have been an athlete or something.
Anyhow I qued behind him and was getting bored in the que.
I amused myself flicking bits of torn up paper at a girl who was giving out to her boyfriend. Turning away just in time every time she turned to see what was hitting her.
I laughed at my cleverness and then the guy in font of me turned around smiling.
