Khan is moving Trainers rumour has it its Roger Mayweather Thoughts
Dunno, I'd stick with the trainer who brought me to the dance. We've seen some examples of trainer changes gone wrong like Taylor and Naz. Changing to a world renowned trainer isn't always a guarantee of sucess.
Im surprised, to be Honest.
It says that in the daily mail. He was training with Floyd Mayweather when he was in vegas so my money is on RM training him.
Guzman - Khan maybe?
Think about it, HBO would eat that up. Two undefeated fighters and trained by Floyd and Roger respectively. Khan seems eager to get to the top, Guzman isn't a real hard hitter, and he has that WBO trinket that Warren loves so much.
I would love it.

completely agree, khan was ready 6 odd months back, kristjansen was a good fight for them to take but i really have to question the logic in fighting st clair who is over the hill and was never going to provide any kind of problems.
Is fighting an unnamed opponent on the 21st june in birmingham, lets get katsidis or romanov over and really get this show on the road!!
Wasn't Oliver Harrison a surprise choice in the first place? (I don't mean that as questioning his training ability)
Ive always thought he was there to be the fall guy when the slip up happens.
Bit harsh to get the spanish archer when your man is still unbeaten.
I heard this a while back.
I thought it was completely random and couldn't possibly be true!
Seems like a great idea. Khan strikes me as the sort of guy who will just do as instructed.
The better quility training he recives IMO the better his talent can be utilised, Amir just need to be taught.
It's a good idear for him to get someone like RM.He will get alot better sparring partners, including PBF which he can learn from it can only make him better at his age.
I'm an Amir fan. From what I've seen he's got mad skillz and speed. Hope he keeps going and getting better and doesn't have a glass chin. He'll be a lot of fun to watch.
It could be a good move...
Roger.... :-\
He's gonna teach Khan how to run away from his opponents.
Surely this will benefit him greatly. I don't feel he is learning that much under Harrison anyway.
If he is, he aint really showing it.
Think guzman would eventually get found out by khan who i suspect would be good enough to stop him late on.
Amir needs to exploit his heighth advantage that he has over other lightweights. He throws the occasional jab but never with any real intent, if they can get that left hand shooting khan will have what it takes to rule that division.
No way. Guzman handles pressure better then maybe any fighter in boxing, if anyone is going to get stopped it would be Khan. Soto had a size advantage on Guzman too and delivered a lot of pressure and Guzman took him to school. He would do the same to Khan but worse, was only joking about the Khan - Guzman fight as Guzman gets next to no attention.
Guzman is one of the top P4P talents in the sport.
I think Roger is a bit overated as a trainer. I do think any fighter will benefit from being around higher level fighters in the gym though. I think PBF is successful because of his talent more so than any great advice or training he's getting from Roger.
I don't think anyone can understand 3 sentences in a row from Roger. My favorite ring advice.... "keep doing what your doing, except whip his ass now".
Best trainer in the world??
