I wasn't going to start a whole thread just to mention this name I heard, but I figured i've heard a lot of ridiculous names in my time, so it warrants a thread...
On television their is a guy on a gameshow called "Dewberry"
Could you just asume that your parents fucking hated you when you were born if they gave you that name??? Either that, or they need mental help

I once heard talk of a guy who's name was Harry Balls (not sure if the last name was spelled differently, but that's how it was pronounced :-X).
I also went to school with a girl named Mercedes Bens. (Pronounced just like the car). :cool:
One final one from me. I used to play football with a kid named Arthur "Arty" Choke.

Beavis and Butthead always makes fun of another character in that show named Daria. They keep calling her "diarrhea". ;D
I knew of someone named Rose Ringrose. I always that was a ridiculous pairing.
My stepfather has uncles whose first names were Allbright and Lowbright.

There was a girl in my older sisters class that was named Freida (pronounced Free-da) Slaves. Seriously.
Now this one is only funny if you read it like a phone book, last name first. A customer that calls into my work is named Harry Balzar aka Balzar Harry.

Another thing that is totally stupid is people who name their children reasonably norman names, but spell them strange ways..
Like if someone's name was Matthew, the parents will spell it Mathyou, or Mathyew... (lol, bad example)..
But think, every every every single f'n time someone has to write down his name,,, he is going to have to spell it out for them. Every time! No one is EVER going to spell it right straight up... It is just so ridiculous..

I played football with a guy named Jeff Jeffries....kind of a prozaic choice for a first name given the last name.
Most Noble Festus...hand to God real name but that's not the entire name though, there's at least 2 more middle names and a last name to go in there, I have no fucking clue how they fit it on the birtch certificate. Most Noble is a cool name to have but Festus......yeah I'm not going to use that anytime soon

In Indonesian, the word Benchong is poofter.
Ring up an Indonesian resteraunt one night and ask the waitress to call out for a Mr Ben Chong thats dining there for you you have to talk to him and his phone is turned off.
All the staff and chiefs will get a great laugh.

Bored shitless in hospital once a few of us went aorund in wheel chairs off our faces on painkillers we had saved up for friday night ,checking for strange names on the ends of beds through all the wards.
We came across MR Smallhorn ,in tears laughing we talked to him and his ward and kept referring to him as Iva.;D
