Nate Campbell calls out Joel Casamayor and Nate is the Champ!

Heys guys we recently got to talk to Nate Campbell and interviewed him. Here is the First part to the video. In the beginning he talks about his beginning in boxing and around 8:30 into the video he calls out Joel Casamayor in english and spanish! And he is the champ!!! If they are alphabet belts that can make Casamayor look legit, why would he fight Diaz instead of Nate when Nate just whipped on Diaz??? I think Casamayor is scared!!!!

After all these years in the game I doubt Joel is scared of Campbell. It might just be Diaz is bigger money!

Casamayor doesn't need those titles to look legit he is the linear holder following back to when Castillo defeated Lazcano for the vacant championship.

Why GBP made Casa-Juan Diaz? Yes, Casa is the Ring Champion but the Ring contenders are:

1. Campbell
2. David Diaz
3. Juan Diaz
4. Santa Cruz

and from that list, Casa-Campbell is the most logical fight to make for the Ring Championship plus 3 lightweight belts...

Santa Cruz has a bigger claim for a Casa fight than Juan Diaz... Casa owed him one...

Casa-Juan Diaz is not for any championship... Juan Diaz got this fight primarily because he's a GBP boxer...

i think casa is scared, he rather fight someone coming up in weight who can bring him lots of $$$$$. Yes I mean pac, casa rather fight pac so win or lose he gets a lot of $$$$ but nate does not care for pac he wants to fight who has been established in the division already.

I use to not like nate but now I think we need more fighters like him. He doesn't seem to be after the money cause he has not yet mentioned pac. He has gone after casa more who is recognize as the best in the division for quite some time. Props to nate, ;)

I agree that Casamayor/ Campbell is the more relevant fight because Joel is the champ & Campbell is the #1 contender, plus its also a rematch of a close fight.

I can only think that Casamayor is fighting Diaz now because it is better money for him, or he has some sort of arrangement towards Pacquiao which of course will also be big money.

I mean Casamayor has already beaten Nate, plus Nate is also an older guy. Its a fight that could potentially go either way.

Nate needs to look at guys like Santa Cruz to try & force a fight with Joel IMO

You can't believe everything Boxing Rec has. If I sent them an email saying me and you are going to fight, you'll see Violent Demise vs SaddoBoxer posted up on there site by tomorrow (I'll be the 10-1 favorite by the way). Bottom line is that if Casamayor can get more fighting Campbell than Diaz he'll take the Campbell fight. I have no doubt about that.

guy is now the mandatory challenger to face either casa/campbell and his promoter frank warren has promised amir endless times a world title shot by the end of the year.

140 will be too much for pac.

Sure he`ll win a world title there and become a 3 weight champion - but against the bigger heavier punchers like hatton, torres, ngoudjo he`ll get found out.

135 pac can dominate with his style and aggresion - he wont be able to do that at 140 and will come across the same kind of problem hatton had going up to 147!!

I think he's ready. Although Cambell will obviously want casa first due to a bigger pay day. I think Amir would get the decision though.
