I'll pity another batch of 2 million PPV buyers getting robbed again watching a boring circus fight of Oscar vs. Fraud ...
.
the return of Audley Harrison is more attractive.
Forget Oscar.

If you didn't find Mayweather-Oscar I a good fight, then you have something up your ass, if you think Mayweather hasn't proven himself then you have something up your ass, and if you think Mayweather-Cotto will be so much better than OScar-FLoyd then once again you have something up your ass. Cotto is a great fighter, but so is Oscar.
For the Record I was the one who BAD REP YOU!!!
IS a relly rare thing for me to do since I have never Bad rep anyone.
Once I told Hitman donny or whaver his name is that I badrep him but didn't do it, but you my friend probably will have more coming to ya with that comment.
I'm buzzin for this fight everyone will see..Night of the Jab come september  let's go Oscar.
Even though i would rather Mayweather fight Cotto or etc, this isn't a bad fight. Even though IMO Mayweather won clearly it was still a competitive fight and quite good action wise. I don't really see why there is all this hate for this fight, most people were saying Mayweather would lose to ODLH the first time, because of ODLH's power etc. And i remember quite a few people had ODLH winning or had it very close fight, but now those same people are now hating on the rematch fight ?? it seems like no matter who Mayweather fights or beats he always get's stick for it.
I also don't know why people tend to bash the first fight...I mean in the end it was a quite entertaining fight...
I guess it's not exciting for some unless one or both fighters leave in a bloody pulp.
This is one guy who's not getting his money taken so I can watch a repeat of the 1st fight; actually Floyd will probably look better this time around.
My pennies will stay in my piggy bank until it is time to extract them to invest in a Cotto/Mayweather fight. I am so done paying to watch Oscar fight.
I thought the first match was quite a nice tactical matchup.
You never expected to see a Gatti-Ward-esque battle did you?
Yea but its also not exciting when there is just boring pot shotting the whole match. The few few exchanges where De la Hoya went in and threw something were very exciting, but the 5 or so times that happened didnt really make the match worth watching.
Floyd wasn't throwing any nice comboes or even doing any flashy defence , just a total nothing fight imo.
You shouldn't be thinking 'this fight looks like it is just getting started' when a fight is in the 12th round.
I know tell me about it Here you got Mayweather giving up a stone on One of the guys who given a chance will take your fucking head off.
Yeah it was a snore feast cos he wouldn't go toe to toe:confused: makes good sense.
IMO oscar took that fight i had him up by one point up. He has the tools to take it next time and im gonna be putting a decent bet on it.
No I didn't, that thought never crossed my mind. Neither did it cross my mind Oscar would jump on Floyd against the ropes and girl slap him in the back while Floyd was laughing:D Though it must be hard to look good fighting Floyd:-\
I say I won't pay for it, but I probably will;D Hopefully they will have a good undercard; that will be a big reason I get the fight or not.
It was very boring though you expected so much more like high speed chess but what we got was an actual chess game with both men protecting their king's. De La Hoya pressing early and Mayweather pot shotting, and constantly moving backwards to counter. On that night I think it was very exciting but to see it the next day it was boring. Then again it was Mayweather talking it up like he could knock out King Kong.Face it we got sucked in by Mayweather's mouth and what he was saying he was going to do to Oscar and when all said and done he escaped with a hairline desicion.
I don't have anything to say that is positive at all so I am going to leave this post, but obviously I sad clicked Taeth.
Yes my Audley comment was a bit extreme, but it was more for effect and not to be taken literally.....
Well I am glad everyone is defending ODLH, I bet he is laughing all the way to the bank. How many times do you have to get fooled before you realize who is fooling you??
Yeah Floyd always talks big about how he is gonna destroy the other guy but we know it is his intention to employ a safety first tactic and steal a decision .
No doubt he will talk of knocking out Oscar this time but he knows if he counters, defends well and use his speed he can win it on points . He wont try to open up on Oscar at any point . He got a K.O last time cuz the smaller man was charging forward with no defence.
It will be another interesting fight . No classic but Floyds superior fitness and speed give him a slight edge . I think it may be worth risking a tenner on Oscar though if the odds are good.
NIght of the jab? Would you enjoy a fight with one boxer just jabbing his way to victory?
What I don't like on this rematch is Oscar trying to monopolize PBF. Why don't Oscar give chance to the winner of Cotto/Margarito to face PBF instead? Ohh I understand that both these boxers were from his competing promotions company Top Rank. Then why not give this chance to Mosley? Shane is already old and he has done a lot to boxing and a PBF fight is a good reward for him at this stage of his career. Many also think Shane can give Floyd a tough fight...
I hope Oscar can give other deserving boxers their crack on PBF before he can have his 2nd chance...
.
I honestly don't even belive oscar belives he can win this fight. But at the end of the day if they make a boatload of cash no matter how much we all hate this idea yet still pay and watch, they are the winners no matter what. And i think that's what oscar see's. Another 24/7 some new little kinks to sucker the casual fan (like floyd sr involved etc..) I think this fight is crap but i'm not gonna hate. Shit..... wish i was in a place in life i could get paid for this type of garbage as well. Early prediction oscar throws his jab for a round or two get's countered and pot-shotted like crazy the rest of the fight will be the same as last time with floyd working even less hard this time.
I won't pay fo rthis one but I know the casino by my house is showing it so I'll be there. That's all I got left.
The problem with this high dollar event being a chess match is that this will be the most watched boxing event of the year, and in many cases probably be the only boxing that some casual fans will see all year.
And while some of us here on the board can appreciate a good tactical bout, the general public can't. IMO this will hurt the sport as a whole more than help, sure ODLH and PBF can pad their off-shore accounts a little more, but it will definately turn off a lot of casual fans. Looking at the bigger picture at boxing as a whole I want it to do better in the publics eye and there are fights that could bring in a swarm of new fans, that would stick around to see more fights. This isn't one of those.
I only hope that the undercard has something stellar, I look forward to seeing how these two adapt after being in the ring together before there are adjustments both of them can make, but I feel I am in a small minority here, nothing new for me though.
That is EXACTLY my sentiments with this fight. It's not that I don't care to see these two fight again, hell anytime you have two fighters in the ring with as much ability between them as these two, I'll gladly watch with interest. It's just that they doll so much hype into the fight, that the casual fan expects some great action, and then don't even really know what to look for when the bell rings. It's the kind of fight that is guarenteed to attract a lot of new viewers, but almost as much guarenteed not to win them over.
I think after Oscar's Forbes fight, this upcoming bout has even less interest. (Although that might be discrediting Stevie Forbes slightly)
To most people it's a given that Floyd is gonna run through him again like a hot knife through butter so fans are getting impatient..especially with Cotto vs Mayweather being such a mouth-watering prospective match up! Bring that fight on already!
You had Oscar leading by one point when there were no point deductions, knockdowns or dominant rounds to one fighter? Strange ;)
Jus playin with ya..but I still can never fathom how some people had Oscar winning that bout. I had it 9 rounds to 3 but then again I'm a Floyd fan. Hell I'm also an Oscar fan but he came nowhere near close to winning that fight IMO. Not enough clean work.
In fact I wholeheartedly agreed with Kellerman's rant about the judging afterwards.
PIss on the casual fan. The kind that thinks ODLH is a top 10 fighter. I know if I pay 50 or 60 bucks for any kind of entertainment I do a little research on it. And last year do you know what anyone with an ounce of investigation in them would have found out, "the real thrill is going to be in Vasquez/Marquez.......and its FREE." So fuck the pansy ass ESPN loving bastards.
Im sorry but it has to be said that those people who had ODLH ahead either didn't pay attention enough to ODLH's flurries missing. Or can't score fight properly or are biased not to sound rude here, but i cannot understand those people who had ODLH ahead. Stats wise it was all Mayweather by a land side and just by watching the fight ODLH was missing majority of his punches and he never really landed a clean shot or even rocked Mayweather once. Mayweather landed much more cleaner effective blows, he rocked ODLH on at least two occasions, and pretty much from a technical point of view dominated ODLH in the later rounds, now through 9 rounds it was close, but after that it was all Mayweather except the 12th round which i gave ODLH giving him the benefit of the doubt, but between 9th round and the 11th, those 3 rounds were clearly Mayweather's IMO. So for the people who had ODLH winning they must of had him well ahead after 9 rounds which i cannot fathom at all.
How many people have said this about having B-Hop ahead?
Tell you what i saw neither fighter landing anything much at all until about the 9th round when Mayweather came on strong but up until that point alot of the rounds could have gone either way. I had Oscar to far ahed by this point just because he was aggresing. Most of what Mayeather landed was parried from my point of veiw except maybe one or two clean blows...one clean shot dont win you a round though IMO.
