Worst movie plot ever

Actually I'm going with a movie I've only seen like thirty minutes of. So I could be wrong, it could be a classic.

The Postman. In it (apparently) Kevin Costner attempts to bring society back together after a near apocalypse by...delivering the mail.

Go.

I never understood that but always thought it was an US thing where they respect the postman :confused:

plot was nonsensical and more importantly completely pointless.


oh and those endless teen romp films, american pie pretty much covered all those areas. Why directors feel the need to shove the same old plots down our throats (no pun intended) god only knows :confused:

I agree with the Cable Guy but I am strangely fond of that film. I like watching it, even though it's extremely creepy and I never got the Ben Stiller trial angle either. But I like watching that movie for some reason, I can't explain it.

The Transporter. A huge quest for this sacred elephant which eventually gets thrown out a window it's absurd but still a great action movie but the plot is beyond ridiculous. Just one of those things where you scratch your head.

I enjoyed watching the "Cable Guy". It's a very funny movie. I get all the humors. I see it as mild dark comedy. Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Owen Wilson, Matthew Broderick?.. what else could I ask more?


I like fast pace movies too. I think of "The Transporter" as good ole classic kung fu movies - Bad scripts, actors that are horrible in monolouges. But as long they're kicking ass,.. then I'm good with it.

However, I liked the Postman. Tom Petty played himself in it....pretty cool.

they were riding motorcycles thru the suburbs and one of their bikes breaks down so they stay in the burbs and make friends with white people as if they never would have came across them.

they fight the bad guys in an abandoned house still being built?

Little Miss Sunshine, never understood why people liked that movie or thought it was funny. It was supposed to be funny but it was kind of depressing to me......didn't laugh once.

Speaking of Stallone....Over the Top......still don't know what the plot was to that turd. He had to arm wrestle to get his son back or some ubsurd crap.

That's also where Stallone puts his gun away. Takes out his knife and throws it at the guy. Than takes out his gun again and shoots him. WTF? Why not just shoot the guy from the start? :lolhaha: That movie is more comedy than anything.

Too bad for me. Must have been the highlight of the movie and I can't even listen to RUSH really. Neil Pert was THE man though:cool:

Any made for Sci-Fi channel movie involving a large killer animal,Feur tends to like crappy horror films so I get stuck watching them on a regular basis

Alone In The Dark...

When a plot is so bad that they don't even bother, or can't think of a way of explaining it, apart from Tara Reid as a Museum Scientist making a 12 second attempt at giving a scientific reason for alien's popping out of the gates of hell into the museum,,,,, you're in for a real shocker of a movie...


Anyone that has seen it knows that you could not possibly give it a review more than 5 out of 100.... Even the action scenes don't make sense.... So the action can't even make up for the plot,,,, which is non existant..
You could almost call it "dumb fun" if it wasn't for the fact that you are the one getting dumber from watching it..

I love the PS2 game though, played it several times.

Fight Club - I admit to buying the dvd
Pulp Fiction - I couldn't even finish watching it
The Bad Lieutenant - The best part of this movie was when Harvey Kietel gets killed because I knew I was at the end of the movie.

My last one is a Stallone film, but I can't remember the title. He's some kind of cop or secret agent trying to capture a terrorist. At the end of the movie the terrorist is in Stallone's home going to kill what the viewer believes is Stallone's wife. All you can see is a shot from behind of what appears to be a blond woman in a robe. Just when the terrorist is about to strike the wife turns around and it's Stallone ala beard and glasses with a blond wig wearing a woman's robe. I don't remember if the film was any good, but I couldn't stop laughing after the last scene.

Demolition man with Stallone and Snipes had a really dumb storyline, it was cheesy and predictable, but I still watch it whenever it comes on TV!LOL

Canvasback I really enjoy watching Bad Lieutenant. I love these self-destruction type movies. And anyone putting alot in Strawberry is funny.
