First 3 rounds have been frustrating for Mundine, Soliman is using all the ring, typical Soliman praying mantis style of fighting, shit, he is hard to watch.

Mundine won the first two rounds, Soliman takes the third
Mundine takes the 4th but it could go either way, Soliman is intent on frustrating the hell out of Mundine at the expense of throwing and landing quality punches
Very messy and ugly fight, Mundine landing some good body shots, Soliman looks sluggish now Round 5 to Mundine
Soliman is looking very tired and his punches are not effective, Mundine is popping him at will now in round 6
Soliman is target practice now for Mundine
I will give Soliman credit for still being there, he is getting hit with left hooks and rights! Mundine has won 7 out of 8 rounds
Fuck me, Soliman takes the 9th round, with that clumsy, stumbling style Soliman lands a big left hook and Mundine has his hands full
Soliman has a second wind and is causing Mundine problems in the 10th, Mundine is doing more talking in the ring than fighting, might not be a bad idea if he landed a punch on Soliman, it's a close round... even
Soliman in trouble again, Mundine lands some solid shots in the 11th
Thanks third man
Another Mundine snoooze fest unfortunately by the sound of it.
Soliman has been courageous, Mundine is to good and has landed more quality punches. It's been a good workout for Mundine. My card 117-111 Mundine
UD Decision for Mundine official cards 116-112 116-112 117-112
Mundine will now fight at Middleweight and wants Pavlik or Wright next
Watching highlights on fox now
From the highlights it looked like Mundine landed easily and Soliman did his usual throwing lots and landing little. Can't see from that how he wins though.
Thanks for the RBR, I greatly appreciate it, because we didn't get it here in the states, and if it was on sopcast, I couldn't watch it anyways, since I'm stuck at my shitty a$$ job. :p
Bumdine will still rematch him again.
I'm sure he'll manage to chase Jason De Lisle out of retirement or maybe have a mega showdown with Sakio Bika.
I like Mundine's boxing talents but honestly his resume is littered with more handpicked bums and fruit pickers than Felix Sturm. In fact I'm sure Mundine will probably take on Sturm's last Aussie opponent and the fight will be billed as champion vs veteran world title challenger.
Mundine has real skill, he just needs to decided if he wants to risk defeat again by stepping up and challenging world class fighters. If he can comfortably make MW, I'd love to see him fight Winky, Abraham, or Pavlik. I think they'd all beat him, unless Winky has really slipped, but he'd at worst be competitive with all three. Maybe not Pavlik.
Well, there was real maturity with Mundine in this fight, Soliman was trying every evasive move he knows but Mundine stuck to this task, he was patient and didn't go for the KO like the last fight, he is supremely fit and i don't know where he will lose those extra 3kgs to get down to Middleweight.
Mundine will be a formidable opponent at 160 and most guys won't like the idea of facing him. I think the days of Mundine facing average opposition are over and he will now go for gold. Can he beat Pavlik, Wright or Abraham? We will find out this year as i think he will fight one of these guys in the next 6 months.
