The fight between Calderon vs Cazares ll is done and will be in August 30 08 Coliseum Ruben Rodriguez Bayamon P.R. , the Promotor Peter Rivera didnt comment how many they will earn for that fight , but Francisco Varcarcel the President of WBO confirmed that they get to the economical agreement ......................;D

Although , Juanma Lopez now is in Atlantic City for the last details for the fight in Jun 7 08 and feel very very Confident to win that fight ...................;D

Thanks for the news man, Calderon is gonna have a tough go at it again, it's really tougher for Calderon than Cazares, because he has to not get caught flush for the full 12 (I know he came back from being hurt last time) Cazares can end it with a few combos. Should be another entertaining bull vs. matador performance.

I'm taking Calderon by UD as well

I think Calderon takes it again but by a wider margin this time. Cazares may struggle again with the weight & Calderon will box smartly for the entire fight because he knows how dangerous Cazares is!

If the rematch is as good as the first we will all be blessed with a great fight. I really wish they would focus on the little guys more when it came to international TV exposure.

It's amazing to me how Calderon does it. Cazares is much the bigger man, and the harder puncher. Yet "Iron Boy" outboxed him all night long. Survived a scare, but finished and won the fight. For all his exploits at that weight, I think Ivan merits p4p consideration. Too bad this division is not very popular with the fans.

I love watching Calderon fight! He is the best pure boxer in the sport. Calderon could have sat on the outside & out boxed Cazares safely but he didn't. He actually was in there throwing combos then getting out, leading & taking the fight to Cazares the bigger man. Outstanding... he went in there & took the championship from Cazares

Calderom defended his title upteen times. He moved up and fought the best fighter of the next division and beat him. That's amazing and that's P4P. I feel ratled when I see P4P lists without Ivan. Shows a lack of appreciation and knowledge because resume wise,he should be there and if you base P4P on skills,he should be there too.

First fight was a tremendous fight. It was close,it was always going to be when Cazares is like 4 divisions bigger than Iron boy.I'm going for the same result this time,but I could never rule Cazares out with his power. He WILL catch Ivan at some point again,that's for sure.

I think if Cazares want try to give a real good shot like he did last time , he will have to make pressure all the fight man.............and avoid wear out , because Caldero with his speed and footwork , he must move his damn heavy ass in all the fight , but is posible Gamo that Cazares could give ones of his good shots for sure , but Calderon will be more cautious in this fight too......................;D

I think Cazares has a better Idea how to beat Calderon in this one. The first fight wasn't like VD has it IMO. It was Calderon up by 2 to 3 rounds.

I think this time Cazares will go like a Margarito kind of fighter he will hit Calderon everywhere he can Arms, shoulders, ear everywhere. HE knows Calderon can't hurt him. But that of course is if he catches him(Calderon)

Undefeated world champion Ivan "Iron Boy" Calderon and his challenger Hugo Cazares have been very busy this weekend in Puerto Rico promoting their fight next Saturday in the main event of Latin Fury to be telecast on Pay-Per-View in Puerto Rico and the United States. Cazares of Los Mochis, Mexico, got in on Thursday Night and, on Friday, both he and Calderon took part in the seven day pre-weight in Guaynabo, where Cazares was three pounds heavier then the limit of 116 pounds, though that was after a long 20 hours of flying to get to Puerto Rico. "I'm not worry I know what I need to do to make the weight and I will make it next Friday when I have to do it officially", said Cazares, who lost his WBO 108-pound title to Calderon last year here in Puerto Rico.
On Saturday, both guys were together again when they held public workouts at a local mall. Cazares was serenaded by a live Mariachi band while he worked, took pictures and signed autographs for the fans. Calderon had his own workout as the fans cheered him on. On Sunday, they where together again, doing a live national interview in Univision's highly rated sports show "Republica Deportiva.”
If the verbal sparring is any indication of the kind of fight this second encounter is going to be, it should be a war between these little giants. "I did not come all the way here to lose again,” says Cazares. “I'm here to take back my title—Calderon has borrowed it long enough.”

I just want add that Calderon should have to be more cautious in this one , Cazares will be again like 20 pnds. more then Calderon , obviously will have more power , but at the same way is not healthy to see boxers to drain to make weights , probably Cazares could come in weak , Cazares will try to come to KO Calderon early , something where will need a lot of gas to catch Calderon , Calderon to this fight trained more harder than the first , so is better for Cazares to put his roller skate..........

During the first fight Calderon displayed boxing skills at his best. It was amazing how Calderon could dominate Cazares against the opinion of many experts due to the size difference. But, Calderon demonstrated why he is one of the best pound for pound dominating a guy who came almost 5 divisions over the limit the day of the fight. Although there is a lot of negativism on Calderon revalidating (I believe that we still have Margarito on our heads) I think that he can be the David of the night and beat Goliath.

Cazares should come even more aggressive than the first time, but if Calderon maintains his focus and do not make something dumb like stopping in the middle of the ring to exchange wild punches, but hitting smartly, he should win. The only opportunity I see for Cazares is a KO, and he proved that he has the power to do it in the first fight. But, Calderon also showed that he can recover and that he has a big heart, and amazing skills. I am hoping that Calderon does not fall in the mental game that Cazares has been playing during the last couple of days. I am sure Cazares will try to repeat what Margarito did with Cotto, but he is fighting the best boxer.

I really believe that no many (if any) has Calderon skills, and he should be recognized as one of the best pound for pound, recognizing his power limitations. Tomorrow we should have another great night for boxing. This will be another Mexico - Puerto Rico battle... I hope that this next 24 hours are gone quickly...

Don't get me wrong Calderon is a phenomenal pure boxer, but If Cazares can dial-in a little earlier well, we'll have to see, I picture it being as good of a fight as the first.

On a side note, Cazares is losing years of his life at these weigh-ins he looks like he just walked out of Aushwitz.

You are probably right... This time Cazares can use what he learned from their first fight and adjust and become even more dangerous. This is a big risk for the Iron Boy. Cazares showed that he can hurt Calderon, which is not surprising when we compare their sizes. Cazares has been trying to make Calderon mad and loose his focus during the last couple of days, which I hope he does not achieve because it will be deadly for Calderon. I am sure Cazares will try to press the fight to the end, but I am hoping that Calderon can manage this one more time. Calderon was doing some sparring with a guy weighing 165 practicing to manage Cazares weight. But, we will be seeing the action and results shortly. I will have my glass full of beer and other with Rum (Puerto Rican of course ;D) to manage my stress ;D :alcoholic: We should comment about the results later, my friend.

Should be a good scrap. I awarded Cazares 2 knockdowns in the first fight and I'm still unsure who wins this. Leaning towards Calderon points again.

Calderon got careless in the 8th. It was understandable with the ease he was dealing with Cazares! Take out 3 rounds at the most & it was a shut out!

Cazares can put on all the pressure he wants it just makes Calderons job easier as the fight goes on as Cazares tires. If Cazares wait on his shots he's gonna get picked off!
