So supposedly it was a pretty crazy fight.

MAN that was a heck of a fight. I wish it was shown here where I live. I am not really sure who should get more credit for the performance Williams for keep getting up or Airich for doing so well against a fighter with so much more experience.
When I have some rep to hand out I owe you some.

I accept rep from anybody. I prefer that you have large amounts of it but either way.

Danny Williams is damn tough,but was a bit surprised how easily he was wobbled by Airich...Airich seems to have power,but his defense is crap...

Heavyweight Konstantin Airich broke his left hand in his seventh round TKO loss to Danny Williams on Friday night in Bilbao, Spain. “I was in awful pain”, states Airich, who broke his hand in round three. “I couldn’t use my left hand anymore, had to do everything with the right.” Airich, who knocked down Williams three times in the bout, will undergo surgery most probably this Monday in Hamburg. “I hope, Konstantin recovers fast”, stated promoter Ahmet Öner. “He had a great fight and sent a signal to all European heavyweights. He will be back and he will be even stronger.”

Man Williams looked like S against an also ran,he was out of shape,he was throwing almost all hammer blows(illegal btw),and his opponent almost swarmed him in the first.His jab was at best tenative(thats being charitable) and all of his other shots were legal only in that occured in a boxing ring,so he couldnt be arrested for them

the ref looked crap, 2 standing counts for Williams, if he'd left them fight that other guy could have got the stoppage
That was pretty quick, I had noticed that there were two versions before but the first one got taken down and now they took this one down too. A bit odd, you don't see that so much in boxing, usually its the UFC which works so quickly in taking down their videos.
I had the second part on pause and I can still watch it but can't start any of the other ones.
Whoever took it off , may they suffer many years of painful disease !! :mad:

Ok so this is what happened

the referee deducts points from Danny for low blows and gives him a count for no reason. the bell rings half way through round 6 to save Airich. And watch as Danny Williams gets thoroughly pissed off with the whole thing and puts it all beyond doubt by knocking out Airich.
Strange fight.

It picks up in the middle of the first for some reason. Williams had been rattled a bit earlier in the round.

I bet he's full of righteous indignation over the fact that the ref didn't give his guy a break in the seventh cause of the tape. Clearly the ref was biased towards Williams. ;D
