The Viking Warrior is back ;D
Kessler has brought L.A. trainer Jimmy Montoya to Copenhagen to help him get ready for the Sartison fight. Jimmy trained Kessler in the Big Bear training camp. It's reeeeally nice to see that he's looking for new inspiration. After all, Richard Olsen has been his trainer for all of his career so far
enjoyed that video
has a nice 1-2 doesnt he old kess

And further more, since when did you become my time management assistant? I don't remember hiring you and I don't see you on my payrole. what I do with my time, is my business. Capiche?
Whoa Order....ORDER:smash:
What round was that in Kesslers sparring session??Cos if it was the 12th or the 15th then he looks really good and hungy. He telegraphed that big right hand though did'nt he in the corner??;)Oh well it's only sparring and if it was in the later rounds then it cant be helped due to the reactions slowling down as would do to any fighter!Really aggresive and interesting!I like Kessler and i look forward to watch he in his next fight!Good Vid mate!
I've posted on kessler before i feel he is a good fighter and boxer he relies on the in out counter punching his defense is very easten european when his timing is down he is a force to be reckoned with in any weight and i agree as soon as joe retires kessler will dominate.
i'd like to change the subject onto future fights for kessler someone said to me taylor when he makes the weight i personally think he should fight froch for a tune up because anyone who knows anything about boxing no's froch will lose and then go on fight taylor and pavlik because if he beats jermaine decisivly pavlik will want a bit, But when i watch pavlik he excites with his power but worries me with his lack of composure i have freinds who disagree but you only have to watch his fights especially jermaine fights because jermaine was the best opposistion he had faced,
for example when he was put down the build up to the knockdown pavlikk lost his game plan walked backwards and as soon as he done that he looked like a club fighter pavlik will lose as soon as he comes against someone with a goood defence good footwork and enough power to push a fighter backwards and to me i just explained kessler.
Some pretty hefty punches were going in there. Was he sparring a welterweight?
He got tagged with a couple of straight rights there. But glad to know he's staying in good shape.
Who was he sparring?
Fairly sure it is Ivan Stovall
No, I had not heard about him before either.
Come OOOOOOOOON! Kess... :D:D
Kess got tagged with a couple there didnt he ;D
Still looked dominant as he should. That right sent his partner straight across the ring.
Good to get him sparring some "brawlers" where he will have to adapt his distance straight punching style of his at times...will pay dividends down the road, especially with some of the comp. at 168 who may not let him pick his distance and choose his punches how he likes to do.
Some more news
Sartison spiller op, Kessler tæller ned til VM-kamp
Unbeaten Dimitri Sartison: I Can Do What Joe Calzaghe Didn't, KO Mikkel Kessler! ;D;D
He’s a solid boxer-puncher type. He had a solid amateur career. He got his high ranking as a super middleweight contender the old-fashioned way, he earned it. And Dimitri Sartison said he believes he can do something that superstar Joe Calzaghe could not
And that is knock out Mikkel Kessler, the former WBA and WBC champion whose only loss in 40 bouts was a decision to Calzaghe.
Sartison, age 28, is not a bragging, boastful character. But he is unflinching in his self confidence and said he will bring all his tools when he fights Kessler June 21 in Copenhagen for the vacant WBA super middleweight title.
“I do not need to blow my own horn,” Sartison said. “My team knows me and they know my abilities. Now I have a chance to show the whole world what I can do. I have big respect for Kessler but I am not in awe of him.”
Sartison, who fights under the Universum promotional banner, was born in Kazakhstan but grew up in Germany and competed wearing that country’s colors. He was a silver medal in the Junior World Championships and was German national amateur champion in 2002 as a middleweight.
“I think I truly can stop Kessler. He seems to be looking past me and talking about a Calzaghe rematch, about Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins. It’s dangerous when your focus is not immediate and not directed at the next man you will fight,” Sartison said.
No one can say that Sartison got his high WBA ranking on a free pass or because of any favoritism. To jump from Number 9, Sartison had to fight his stablemate, Gusmyl Perdomo when Perdomo was ranked much higher and had a 14-1 record.
And some fight it was. Sartison was bleeding in the first round after what was ruled an accidental head butt.
It looked like Perdomo would stop Sartison, pouring it on near the end of round seven. But Sartison weathered the storm.
There was a furious 10th round with both boxers letting it all go. The judges had Sartison nipping a unanimous decision on a 97-95 score and two 96-95 votes.
Sartison further polished his contender credentials by following up with an eight round stoppage of rugged Pablo Daniel Zamora. Zamora was in his third bout after going the 12-round limit with WBA super middleweight champion Anthony Mundine in Australia.
His ring resume is solid and Sartison said he’s ready for Kessler.
“Nothing has been handed to me,” Sartison said. “I will be at my best and, if Kessler is not, it will be a sad night for he and for all the people of Denmark.”
With his hometown of Hamburg not so far away, Sartison will bring his own cheering section to Copenhagen.
“You can be sure of one thing; I’ll give my friends and fans something to cheer about.”
I hope Calzaghe-Kessler rematch happens soon. They had a very competitive fight.
Kessler's hammer
crush Ansoula
www.From team palle.dk
It's quite possible that Charden Ansoula could go 60 sparring rounds last autumn in Cardiff with Joe Calzaghe.
On Christianshavn the French-Congolese's competences unfortunately reached only till a couple of fairly few effective sparring days with a roaring bear-strong, sharp-edged version of Mikkel Kessler.
On Tuesday afternoon the Danish World Championship challenger had to loudly frustrated interrupt the day's otherwise agreed upon sparring curriculum on eight rounds already after the fifth round.
At that time a totally knocked up Ansoula gasped desperately for the weather, for that his diaphragm and jaw had stayed bombed methodical of Kessler's iron fists.
Already after fourth round looked Ricard Olsen and Jimmy Montoya into the eyes that Kesslers VM-sparringspartner was being thumped all the way up the gluing.
But Ansoula refueled new air and insisted on taking falls some fifth intercourse with in all.
Even though Mikkel Kessler tried to hold breaks in his purposeful bombardment of his poor sparring partner, a completely knocked up and bombed-out Ansoula had to finally surrender with the words:
"No mas, please no more punishment today ...!"
Mikkel Kessler's other VM-sparringspartner Lolenga Mock is precisely at present, because nil familiar with Århus in order to do his civilian job.
"For the devil, Jimmy - what is it however for a sparring partner, you have dug up to me?!
Was it really the best, you could find at home in Arizona? The two lads, I had in Big Beær, were classes over Ansoula.
Him I can bloody not use for nothing at all. He doesn't box by the way at all either just as Sartison ...!" was furious Mikkel Kessler angrily.
At Tuesday's unfinished sparring on Christianshavn it was not least Mikkel Kessler's flashingly quick venstrejab, which impressed by time and again banging in on the unprepared sparring partner's open face.
In addition Kessler's abysses start bodyshooting now to applaud exactly so formidably hard, cold as ice and mean that Montoya wishes it.
"Yeah, Mikkel - that´s the way I like it very-very much. Go on, champ ...!"
But that was what Mikkel Kessler had probably anyhow not to have done.
Because the next moment was the World Championship challenger's working day over before time.
"I feel real colossally strong after our fantastically successful training camp up in California's mountains.
But I need still to get something competent defence in the gym, so that I do not risk lulling myself entirely in sleep, before it starts in Brøndby Hallen.
Mikkel Kessler will stop entirely according to the week's timetable sparring-free tomorrow Wednesday in order to dedicate oneself to the work out with Thomas Macon.
And Charden Ansoula?
He has to try to cure himself at the hotel and refuel up to new waiting torments at Thursday.
Team Palle tried on Tuesday evening to be urgent-recruit a cheerful battle-ready VM-sparringspartner for Mikkel Kessler.
He looks like crap, and I like Kessler, his stance is to wide, and he's taking way to many shots,he,doesnt double his jabs, because he cant because of the jab,he never gets on his toes,or on his bike.
All he does is look for the big cross
Kessler-Froch needs to happen this year. or early next year.
Ha Ha that was my initial impression as well, I was looking through the comments expecting full on abuse but you were the only one who put anything negative, he was sparring a guy 20+ pounds lower than he and he looked poor, jumping in with arm shots, just looking for that right hand which he didn't seem to be bothering the little guy with even when it did land. Wow I thought you guys knew your boxing, maybe am wrong... Thanks for the video though always good to see, not sure he will think the same if he saw it.
