Rainman was probably his best IMO. From that list I would choose TopGun, but I saw TopGun for the first time in years a month or so ago and its just GAY. High-fiving greased up bunch of tarts playing volleyball.

"Born on the Forth" was his best Imo........A bit long and at times you wanted to smack him but that was a Classic

Well I voted for Jerry McGuire, but my favorite, because it seemed so out of character for him, plus he was fantastic in the part, was him as Frank Mackey in Magnolia.
All you guys should love him for this bit.

Thinking waaaay back his part in "Tap's" was pretty convincing....And he Dies at end. .......also small part in "The Outsiders" lol
