Wow tough one for me..hard to pick against casa, but marquez ??? I have to sit aside and let you guys break this one down.
Well , now will see again Experience vs Resistance , I think that JMM could get this shot , i see that he have more Stamina and good boxing , he will need to put a lot of pressure to Casamayor.........
Casamayor have the Experience , good boxing and more speed if he handle the JMM pressure , he can retain his Championship..........
This is an intriguing match-up. The question is which guy still has another great performance left. I think Marquez by decision.

I can see Casa stealing this one. Its guarenteed to go the distance and it would probably be close too. Tough to pick a winner.

In short, Casa's rough housing tactics may bother JMM. Add into the equation it being JMM's first fight at 135, could be a win for Casa.
Does anyone know if the reason for Marquez moving up in weight was because he's having trouble making 130? Or is he just chasing Pacquiao?

Marquez have never been knocked out in his entire career. But Barrera and Pacquiao gave him the clear indication that he'll get knocked out really soon. And I believe that will be in the lightweight division.
Marquez's power already deteriorated at SF. So I don't think he can seriously hurt Casa. The only way JMM is winning this fight.. is by outpointing Casa. He's gonna have to chase Casa all over the ring to do it, and hope he won't get tag with a good one,.. just like the left hand Katsidis ate.
Marquez UD, Casamayor was on his way to losing against the K man until he got careless.

Two brilliant tacticians! I think Marquez may be a little bit fresher but Casamayor knows every trick in the book. Very close fight that I see going the distance. I think being JMM's 1st fight at 135 against such a cagey veteran maybe the difference. Casamayor by SD

Marquez, pretty confident about that.
Could go either way, I'm not betting on it but I won't be surprised if JMM comes out victorious via UD or TKO. Marquez's punching power and chin is very underrated IMO for the fact that he wasnt stopped ever in his career and all of his knockdowns where FLASH knockdowns and he was able to recuperate very quickly. If PAC was less than perfect condition and less defensive minded the last time he could've been kayoed IMO.
Marquez superior CONDITIONING edge will make him victorious in this one.
i think Marquez can make a huge impact at 135, and he's taking on a more meaningful fight IMO than Pacquiao is, Diaz shouldn't even be the WBC champion, two reasons, he never really won the belt, second, Morales won the fight.
This looks like a good fight on paper. I'll take Marquez by decision. No one has ever ko'd Casa...and Marquez will not do it either.
