i forgot how good Magic Hat #9 is til i had it at a graduation party from a keg.. bought a pack of it for the Celt's game the other day and thoroughly enjoyed it
I'd never had it before, but I was standing in the checkout line at the liquor store, and the guy in front me said it was the best beer he's had, the clerk agreed, so I headed back to the fridge and picked some up. A wise impulse to follow. I've been drinking Sleeman's 20th Anniversary beer lately, which is outstanding, but I've decided to try a different beer each time I pick up a 6 pack now.
My favorite beer is Whiskey - or Bourbon - or Tequila. I'm not too particular!
But I do really like Newcastle - good stuff.

Keith's is ok, not one of my favorites. I prefer Sleemans. When I was a kind I used to drink Wildcat like it was water. That and Ironhorse, TNT or Molson XXX, thank God those days are over.Quote:

It's an acquired taste. I remember when I was about 14ish, I got absolutely hammered of two 40oz'ers of O.E. (lame and typical, I know) and some raspberry ale. I couldn't even take a sip of beer for at least a year after that, even a tiny bit would make me gag. Good times.Quote:

This thread has corrupted my "Moderation"....I thought I had tried New Castle but have not.Just went Shopping at Rouses and made it a point to pick up a pint bottle on top of a sixer of Red Stripe (3 day weekend ;D)...It looks like Ice tea ?? I might get drunk once this summer. Hell most of my friends are older and have a drink at parties. A few are regular lushes and likely headed to AA or prison, but most just have a few...and then there are some like me that don`t touch it.
