Well here is the pic right before I sparred with Chazz.I finally got it.
nice. got any after pics? :shinner:
Cool man how did it go?
Nope I got no after pics but he did take it very easy on me.He would just point out by starting to throw punches and then them pull them back as if to say "right there your ass would have been knocked down". All and all he is what his nickname is The Gentleman. yeah that sounds kind of gay.
Who's Chazz?
Chazz is going to get knocked out by Arreola on Sat, Chazz has spent his career to date fighting limited opponents, no offence intended but you hardly look in any sort of condition to be sparring with a professional heavyweight, glad to hear he is getting good preparation though.
Chazz seems like a very nice guy.
I feel that his forthcoming fight with Arreola will define which one goes on to become "Top Prospect," so I wish him luck.
That would be a great pic to have if he becomes the "next big thing."
One more thing. How many fight's have you had and how do you say you hardly look in shape to be fighting a pro. Does James Toney from the chest down look like a fighter or George Foreman. No offence with you saying something like that means you have no idea what you are talking about. To have six pack abs, ripped chest,is just a genetic luxury that some don't even have to try for but for many it takes a little extra. If you would like to see me in person come down to A.C. on July 12 I'll be fighting on the undercard of Jose Canseco Vai Sikahema and then make that asessment if I am in shape or not.
Ha Ha no offence mate, but you have said yourself he has to take it really easy with you, hey, you know best. As for me I am not really sure it matters, I have had my own fair share of fights and my job is in professional boxing so I guess I know a bit. If you are saying you are in good condition fair enough.
Correct he did take it easy on me as would any professional with 23 wins zero losses sparring with a guy with only few amateur fight's.Let me clarify this to you He sparred with Crabtree for 3 rounds, then Israel Garcia for 3 rounds, back to Crabtree for 3 rounds and again with Garcia with 3 and as a favor in the end he let me whail on him for 3 rounds on 4 seperate ocaasion's. Now you can criticize me.
Hey man more power to you for getting in there and living your dream
No need to be a dick:rolleyes: Chazz fought the wrong fight he tried to match fire with fire instead of keep his composure and box... Arreola is mediocre at best, a chin 1st fence swinger who has tremendous pop but will get done just like Darchinyan when he steps up... Klitschko(Who I loathe) would eat his lunch
well whoever it is should show more tact and respect than to jump on a computer an hour after the loss to seek fightfans thread and take the piss out of him... Especially after FF made this thread because he was proud of his photo and experience with Chazz... This poof certainly lacks class
Are you sure? He goes on about Mack almost as much as Barron71.
Quoted from a Saddo article, "...has recruited British coach John Tandy to take over as head trainer..."
http://www.saddoboxing.com/6649-yuse...io-tarver.html
Putting two and two together, I assume this is the same Tandy. If I am wrong, then I apologize. I have been drinking, but it makes sense to me.
You guys are bad detectives. I had this figured out about 1 day in after the posting. I of course went off on barron1 to get the ball rolling cuz I didn't believe him with the whole looking for prospects thingy. But did my homework and they are who they are.
Jmbtandy or whatever is John Tandy the English trainer I believe who is now Mack's trainer. Still a dickhead thing to say. Ah I was beat to it.
Still haven't seen this, sucks for Chazz though as I really like him. Want to see this.
Guys put your rattles back in your cribs, just having a bit of fun, I was the one being told I didn't know what I was talking about, no harm in poking a bit of fun. As for Arreola I don't rate him either, both are poor excuses of up and coming talent in the heavyweight division.
As for anything you want to say about me, feel free I don't think I will lose too much sleep over it.
In UK at the moment, back in NY on the 29th June, in the process of building a stable over there so will be relocating in the near future on a more permanent basis. What is it with these guys, wow talk about jumping on the bandwagon, guess sarcasm is not as well received over there, we like taking the piss out of each other in UK.
I wouldn't sweat it too much. Fightfan was psyched sparring a pro...I would be too. I only get to largely spar giant sized brawlers and it is getting old fast. A few good am boxers I learn from. Wish I could spar better boxers although within limits of course.
I was routing for Chazz too, think he fought the wrong fight too. Chazz needs to Box he got stuck in a toe to toe fight, thats the wrong fight for him. His corner was lost in that fight I feel they did not get him ready, plus what was with them coming into the ring.
Tandy has did great for Mack so far MAYBE chazz would like to come sign with us. We would whip him into a the next CHAMP!!
Hey at least a lot more people saw your picture than probably would have, and shows most gathered round to support you, no hard feelings
No problem . There is an old saying my father used to say "let assholes be assholes" I am sure if you an I were to meet we'd probably become friend's. As for Chazz he did fight the wrong fight without a doubt.I did think the ref was a little inexpierenced but Chazz wasn't looking to great. At that moment I thought the fight could have went on,but when I watched it again Chazz wouldn't have gone much further.
Even if he still lost, I think Witherspoon could have had a better showing. He's much too slow in the ring, too bulky. You can look at him and see he could easily shed 15 lbs and probably keep the power he rarely displays. The guy can box, he just got stormed by someone jumping on top of his head and not letting up. If he tighted up his defense and took off some of that weight (and maybe learned how to clinch) he could cruise by a flabby-flab-flab like Arreola. As it stood neither guy would do well against top level competition.
Agreed Chazz has some abilities, and sometimes it takes a loss or two to realise the sacrifices you have to make to really make it in this sport.
For example - Don't slate me for harping on about Yusaf Mack, but it is a similar example, he was a badly prepared, didn't train hard enough weight drained Super Middleweight he lost a couple of fights because of this, believe it or not he is a talented guy but had spent much of his career slacking off relying on his natural ability and the guys around him telling him he was the best. Yes I came in and made changes, yes i told him if he wanted to be the best he had a lot of work ahead of him etc, but he had to want to make the sacrifices, a trainer can't give a fighter desire, those loses made Yusaf take a long look at himself and now he is one of the most dedicated guys around, you have to keep an eye on him over training now. He does what he is asked to do and pushes himself, I didn't know him before the losses, but I can't imagine he would have had the same dedication before. He will never lose a fight again being badly prepared or unfit, if he loses he will lose because the guy opposite him is a better fighter.
Maybe Chazz will be in the same boat, he has been carried to a decent record and in his first step up in class he fell well short. hopefully if he really has the desire to make it in the sport he will make changes and dedicate himself the way he needs to if he is going to more than a nearly man. He needs to be told some home truths and work hard then work his way back, I think the same will happen to Arreola as well to be honest in time.
You can say what you want but Witherspoon has been surviving on his name alone, now he has been exposed as a weak chinned, poor heavyweight. He will go on to win another 10 fights against bums they be stepped up again and will be knocked out again. Doesn't matter what he does you can't teach a Muppet how to be a world champion. And this guy that goes on about Yusaf Mack, look forward that defeat it is coming soon, sod bad preparation, he is just a muppet as well, the game is flooded with guys who think they are something even when they get sparked a few times by other bums it still doesn't click. Stop wasting your breath !!!
You know what's funny him and I were weighing in the same time he was 235 and I was 238 that was May 20th through June 6th. He said he didn't even start his roadwork like I said earlier. He came into the gym one last time on June 11th and was 232 lbs. The next time I seen him was in the ring on Saturday and he was what 220 lbs.Something tells me I think he was a little drained, and left the fight on the road.He just didn't look like the same counterpunching machine I seen in the gym. This is why I had such high hopes. I thought a brawler like Arreola would never do what he did on Saturday.IMO it was an easy win by simply counterpunching Arreola to hell and back.
HA HA NOT THAT I AM AWARE OF, Do you have issues in life that you feel the need to post your fat ass next to a crap pro boxer that just beat the shit out of you in 1st gear?
Witherspoon isn't nearly as bad as you make him out to be. Arreola ain't exactly a soft puncher. Personally I am glad that he posted his picture with an undefeated HW prospect and got the oppotunity and learning experience from it. I actually appreciate that he thinks enough of the board to share his experience with us. You on the other hand slate a young fighter, who has had a loss to one of the hardest hitting HW the US has produced in the past 5 years and immediately write him off. This is boxing people get knocked out, I have a hard time slating anyone that has the balls to get in the ring and risk their health for our entertainment, Witherspoon definately has talent and didn't get the name recognition without it.
No worries Fightfan... This guy is a wind-up artist that just tries to get a rise out of people... He passes himself off as a boxing genius that boxes for a living but will tell no one out of where... He's a fraud.
My guess is he's never been in a ring so if I were you I'd not take him very seriously...
