Alexander Abraham arrested for Kicking Miranda

Abraham's brother arrested

After the fight, Alexander Abraham, the younger brother of Arthur, was arrested by Seminole police.

Alexander Abraham was part of his brother's entourage and allegedly jumped into the ring and kicked Miranda while he was being attended to by a ringside physician immediately after the fight.

Alexander Abraham was quickly taken into custody by police and removed from the building.

He was transferred to the Broward County Sheriff's Office, where he arrived at approximately 2:15 a.m. Sunday and was awaiting processing, according to Jacqueline Whitfield, the clerk on duty.
Alexander Abraham, 26, who lives with his brother in Berlin, Germany, is also a professional boxer. He is a junior middleweight with a record of 21-0-1 with 15 KOs.
Arthur Abraham could face a possible fine from the Florida State Athletic Commission for failure to control his team.

The first I read of this was that Alex Abraham provoked it and then came Randall Bailey who tried to get at Alex and then Alex jumped out of the ring and hightailed it. What a little shithead Alex Abraham is anyways I've never liked him. Always just looked like a douche.

Well...I rewatched the fight and Alexander came into the ring embraced his brother and then went over to Miranda,who was still sitting on the floor...Alexander then said something to Miranda after that the kick must have happened,but you could only see his upperbody not his legs...I doubt seriously the kick went to the head and from the look of it was some petty kick in anger to Mirandas leg...lets not forget that Miranda had a long campaign of trash talk against Arthur and being a born Armenian they take this very seriously if family members are attacked that way and Alexander seems to me like a very emotional type of person...I don't say this to defend Alexanders cowardly kick against Miranda,but just to clearify the situation somewhat...

Seems like it is all blown out of proportion.

I just read another article that said he was released with $100 processing charge and that whole $10,000 fine thing was made up.

Who knows what to believe on the internet. Maybe neither story is true. Rumors spread like wildfire

I check fightnews every day, but they will post any "spoon-fed" story, from any promoter, anytime.

I dont know if he really kicked him or not, but a story from Sauerland does not resolve any issues.

I went back and looked at the tape, and I didn't see the kicking, but you could tell something was going on in that corner. Then right after that you see Arthur looking over that way with concern on his face. Then it continues were he is trying to celebrate, but you see him keep looking off to the side with concern, not sure if that is when his brother was being grabbed by security. Then you don't see his brother anymore in the background when announcing the winner and such.

If that is really true , i have to say that this is not PROFESSIONAL......:mad:

Yes, I was right there. Alex went over to Miranda still sitting on the canvas and was grabbing his own balls and making throat cutting gestures and saying 'I will kill you!'. He started kicking Miranda's legs and was pulled away. He then went to Miranda's team and started talking shit and threatening everyone. He did the same thing in Germany when Miranda fought there. He is crazy!

I heard he was caught up with in the casino after the fight and 'Got what was coming to him' before the police got there and arrested him.

Wow, that's crazy!!! What a fukin idiot Alexander is. And I can't believe that they put out an official statement denying it all!!!

From my understanding he was just arrested for disorderly conduct, and in order for him to be charged with assault, someone has to file an official complaint. So I hope that Miranda, and if the ringside doc was kicked as reported, files a complaint. He should face charges for that biatch move.
