In other ocassions before an Emissary not directly talked in name of ODLH without interest , but now is supporting the Idea , commented Trinidad Sr.................

trinidad clearly demonstrated against RJJ he has little or nothing left in the tank and the once great warrior is now a shell of his former self.

I hope to god for ODLH`s sake this isnt true as all the haters who ripped into him for the idea of a rematch with PBF will literally lynch the guy for coming up with this one.

Let the memorys of ODLH-Trinidad remain long and healthy within fight fans memorys for generations to come. Not some freak show that involved 2 veterans fighting for the sake of a few extra bucks!

I agree hattonthehammer , i think the same thing , but i dont think that Oscar have to choose this fight , he really know that he will have problem in this weight on 165 pnds. and obviously is the more interest to him to make a fight with Cotto , this is within his limitations.............IMO

I'm not at all opposed to this fight happening - I actually think it would be a great event! Maybe not the most meaningful fight in the world, but it would still be a huge spectacle...and I don't mean that in a negative way.

Let's face it - ODLH is a great fighter, but fighting Cotto or Margarito at this stage is probably not the smartest match to be made for a swan song bout. I just don't see the problem with a couple of older fighters going out with an entertaining bout, rather than killing themselves to get in with younger and hungrier opposition.

Oscar said he would not fight anymore Puerto Ricans and that was a promise he made to his wife. If ODLH does end up fighting Tito, I will be very disappointed and it will also prove that ODLH was also afraid to fight Cotto.

King inclusive affirmed that offered the Date of the fight in December 6 08 not official , though Ramiro Gonzales Director of Golden Boy Promotion confirmed the they made the negotiation , but theres no deal yet ......

I would love to see how DLH would've handles RJJ at 170. Anyway if these two great fighters one to make one final stand against eachother le them. It is certanly the only fight involving these two that actually makes sense. So why oppose it. I for one will be watching....

I completely disagree with you hammer. Although Tito lost clearly to RJJ, he showed that he has a little something left. He just fought at the wrong weight.

The Trinidad the fought RJJ that night hurts DLH badly. Look at how Tito looked after fighting RJJ and how DLH looked after fighting Forbes.

I for one wouldn't mind just so neither one gets in the way of the great fight on the horizon between great fighters in their primes.

Isnt it obvious? Oscar can't take our money on the Mayweather rematch now so he is gonna take our money on the millennium superfight that wasn't too super :P

Danny, you should know by now that Oscar is full of sh*t and that his bottom line is: $$$$. Doesn't he remind you in many ways of Floyd?

I still think if this fight happens it would be MUCH bigger than Mayweather vs Oscar. Trinidad still has all of Puerto Rico behind him and Oscar is Oscar. I believe this would be a great fight between to older fighter's both who lost a step or two shit maybe three and now their on the same playing grounds again. I believe Oscar would want to capitalize on this and go for the kill this time and Tito fight's only one way. Shit what a way to end either one of their career's. I'll buy it in advance now.

I love Tito, he's my all time favorite fighter, but that first fight was horrendous. I think FMJ and ODH was more entertaining and that was pretty horrible in it's own right. I don't think I can stand to see Tito come in looking soft and lazy over 160 again. :(

Oscar is obviously in search of a huge money fight, the type of fight only Floyd or Hatton or Cotto or pac could draw with him....A huge event.

Floyd completely burst his bubble by botyhe retiring and beating Ricky and Cotto is content with the 147 division. Pac is too small to be credible.

This left Oscar in need of a huge money drawing fighter, someone with a huge fan base, with a good history, who can draw big numbers.
