Who wins?
I say it comes down to who's fight they fight. Floyd said he's not scared of Gatti and is willing to go toe to toe with him if that's what he wants. I sooo hope he does this!

I am with you bud. Lets hope so. Floyd was beat by Castillo the first fight and he knows it. If he chooses to engage that much again, this time with Arturo he will be knocked out. You must remember that Gatti hits harder than anyone Floyd has ever faced. That and his tremendous heart are his two advantages. Lets hope Floyd gets his big mouth finally shut for him. :)
I know Gatti will come out trying to slug but PBF will pick him apart. Kinda like Tarver just did to Johnson but I'm sure it will be worse. I woud love to say PBF by KO but I think Gatti has too much heart to stay down.
I love Gatti, he's my favorite fighter and he is the reason why I got in to boxing.
this is gonna hard to watch because logic tells me that mayweather is gonna pick him apart.
I hope floyd underestimates Gatti's power and eats a shot he can't handle
All i can say is that anytime Gatti has stepped up to a title fight hes lost. I see him being totaly outclassed by PBF. Gatties only chance is by stopping Floyd early, no later than three rounds.
I say Gatti needs to cut the ring down, and consentrate on the body. I'm rutting for Gatti, but he's got to take his speed away early, if not it'll be a long night.
Kinda like Hatten, get on him and stay on him. Be patient and disciplined.
I'm going with Gatti via TKO in the 9th, Floyd has had hand trouble in the past and perhaps hitting a head as hard as Gatti's will bring that back. Everyone knows about Gatti's heart and this fight will test Floyd's heart for sure, and I am wondering if he has it in him to beat a guy like Gatti. Gatti has power too, he will hurt Floyd bad
While I am hoping to see a good fight, this fight isnt going to be close. Mayweather is too smart to try and fight Gatti. His hand speed is way to quick for Gatti, and he will pile up the kind of point lead that even a late rd knockdown (which wont hapen) wont over come. Floyd Mayweather is in a league of his own at 140. I really think that Gatti would have a much better shot at a fighter like Hatton but wont get that shot after this loss. Mayweather will win a very lopsided UD in this fight.
how can u say that gatti has changed, he came back after his loss to mickey ward (TWICE) and his other losses to ivan robinson and angel manfredy were 7 years ago.. come on now. alot of time for improment then. and his loss to oscar de la hoya is the only thing u got going for youQuote:

I love Gatti... but he hardly had a chance. He would have to land a great punch... and that is asking a whole lot on PBF
Well he would have had a chance had he not fought like a dumass. He tried to outbox Maywhether! That's the stupidest strategy he could ever think of.Quote:

You may accuse me of talking after the fact but I never even had an inkling that this fight could ever be anything other that the boxing lesson it was. I think they stopped the fight out of embarrassment for Gatti. Gatti is good value against average fighters where he can look good. At least he saw sense, backed off, and waited for a shock champion like Baldomir to come along and give him ANOTHER chance at a world title. Frank Bruno style. He'll probably lose that as well. Fingers crossed.Quote:

but you are absolutely right about there being a very large number of people who dont know a whole lot about boxing
also, this is a perfect example of the floyd haters saying that pbf never fights anybody good, cuz before the fight they always think mayweather is going to lose. then when floyd wrecks them, those same people wait a while and go back to saying that floyd only fights bums
cc for you
Yes I was wrong. But at least some of us had the balls to post our oppinions befor the fight. I guess the 16.7% are genius's. Or at least boxing experts. I thought that Gatti would fight a better or at least a smarter fight than he did.
