Best Knockout of all time?
What is the most brutal, the most devastating, the best knockout of all-time?
My vote goes to Ray Mercer's KO over Tommy Morrison. WOW! That was brutal. After Morrison was revived they sat him down on his stool and he was still bobbin and weavin tryin to avoid punches. He was out of it. :o

I agree the Berbick KO was a good one. Especially after all the smack Berbick talked about doin the nasty with Tyson's then wife.

Probably not the best of all time but a great knockout anyway was by Wayne Alexander on the undercard of Hatton Kostya. He turned the guy all the way round with the punch! Plus he was losing, a lucky boy!!
Surprised no-one has mentioned Maussa yet, that was class ;D

Erm..... I liked Lennox Lewis' KO of Hasim Rahman in their rematch. I think it broke his jaw ??? O0
Razor Ruddick beat someone with a great knockout. Not sure the name of the opponent though.

Manuel "Shotgun" Gomez landing the most perfect right hand you have ever seen, after he was on the canvas twice in the round (all of this in the first round), came back and put a straight, crippling right hand to the jaw of Jeff "the Thrill" Hill......... and it was good night..... that was one of the best one round fight ever........... ;D

Kostya Tszyu vs Zab Judah. It was a great straight right that caught him on the chin perfect. But when he got up and did the Funky Judah and fell again I just couldn't stop laughing. Especially after all the trash he talked.

Defenitely, you took one of my votes I posted this one before, Manuels nickname prior to this fight was "RANA" which means frog, after this fight they changed it to "Shotgun" the best 1 rd. fight.
#1) Has to go the greates "JULIO C. CHAVEZ" knocking out Meldrick Taylor, come on 12 sec. left in the round, and BOOM!!!! lights out. NO doubt about it this is the best KO ever, the intensity, a title was on the line, a legend was going down and a new one was rising. Thats not the script they gave Chavez.

Yea, those are all some great ones.
The one that always makes me laugh was Jack Johnson blasting that guy they called
"The Michigan Assassin" (can't think of his name). He was like a middleweight or
something and had no business in there. It was rumored that the fight was fixed to be
a draw and it's entirely plausable given the way Johnson toyed with him round after
round, but when the little guy finally caught Johnson on the chin he was down for like
a second before he got up and launched at the poor b@$+@rd. You can then see
Johnson brushing what's said to be teeth from his glove.

When Sugar Ray Robinson Kncoked that guy out with a left hook, and killed him in the ring.
Also, When The Hitman Thomas Hearns Knocked out Roberto Duran with that straight right hand, and knocked Duran Unconcious.

Tua-Ruiz Amazing display of power by a lighter more mobile Tua. That last hit on the way down is about as close to
a decapitation as you can get in boxing.
If Tua would have stayed at that weight throughout his career, we would have seen more of those.

Jones was out cold, If i was the Ref i woulda Looked at Jones and said " Daaayyymmm, you got knocked the Fu-ck out"

Not many people will know this one but Azumah Nelson v Pat Cowdell. Left uppercut had cowdell out for 5 minutes.
And guys come on. How can you forget Gatti v Camache.
